So this morning I am sitting at home watching Scooby Doo with my daughters whe I get a text message from my older brother who works at a Wal-Mart in Jamestown North Dakota (31 miles from where I live). The text message states that they just got a case of WWE figures with Diesel and a case of 2-packs in. He knows his wrestling, but doesn't follow wrestling figures. However, he does give me heads up when they get new stuff in. These additions suprised me today though because this particular Wal-Mart has NEVER had Elites or 2-packs. Only basics, flexforce, and rumblers. But, I guess with the holiday season approaching, they decided to expand their selection. Here are my new additions to my collection:   The case breakdown went like this....Elite case had 1 Orton, 1 CM Punk, 1 Diesel, 1 Ezekial Jackson, and 2 Rocks. No Slater or Nash sadly. The Battle Packs case went like this....1 Henry/Barreta, 2 Miz/Mysterio, and 3 CM Punk/John Cena. Also, the Henry and the stretcher are available for trade. Only bought the set for Trent. I don't really like paying Elite prices for 1 basic figure that I need..... |

That's a horrible Elite box breakdown, but at least you got that amazing Diesel!

I was suprised that there are only 6 figures to a case and not the usual 12. I guess smaller Wal-Marts can order 1/2 cases? It was a fresh case because I watched my brother stock them for me. It was already opened, but by my brother an hour before they got stocked just so he could peak in there and see what they were. |

Nice. Good to see Walmart expanding their WWE product. Although mine still doesn't carry BPs.
That's an unusual Elite case assortment. Usually it's 8 figures.

My guess is someone bought a Punk and the Slater. Congrats on Diesel. My Walmart is retooling their toy section as well Im hoping for some good stuff in the next week or two myself.

Diesel is an amazing figure and is worth every drop of gas to get. I'm still happy I got him and Nash from RSC when they first went up. That series (E16) have been gems in my collection. Such a solid set, besides the Orton. |

nice, saw a Trent/Henry at my Walmart today, got it from Ringside a few months ago so I didn't get it, but its nice to finally see new stuff in stores, that Diesel is awesome

Where did people get the idea that elites were 12 per case anyway? Is that why people cry when elite figures are 1 per case, because they think there's room for 2 of everyone in each box?

I just assumed they were 12 per case just like the basics. As I stated above, this is te first time my area has ever carried Elites and it's the first time I have seen a case get opened. |

What you probably saw was the rest of a case that they didnt have room for on the pegs that they were putting out. The figures are 8 a box. |
