So we had the Heritage sets that included Bret Hart, Shawn Michales, Goldust, Ultimate Warrior and Eddie.
All these sold like crazy, so why have we had 9 basic sets announced since then and no more legends or Heritage sets, why not add a SummerSlam set? Survivor Series, heck even King of the Ring?
Basics that Id love to see added
another Warrior Bulldog - summerslam 92 Savage basic from twin pack could be re-released Mankind in brown tights - summerslam 96 Million Dollar Man Honky Tonk Man Sgt Slaughter
You could have a King of The Ring set with past winners
Bret Hart Austin Triple H Hacksaw Jim Duggan Regal Harley Race
Id also like to see classic tag teams in battle packs
Maybe just once a year do a classic tag teams set, so 3 packs of teams cases could be like x3 Hart Foundation x2 Money Inc x1 Rhythm & Blues
x3 Legion of Doom x2 Natural Disasters x1 Bushwackers

We haven't seen more because Mattel said they were dropping the heritage series.

It's an entrance greats figure. He been shelf warming at my TRU for like 2 years (since 2010) He even comes with million dollar title!

A shame indeed that they dropped the Heritage series. I mean, I also collect the Elite Flashbacks now (as that is the only way now to collect older wrestlers), but I really was a Basic collector only before that.

I would by any Legends they released in Basic or Elite styles. Hell I'd buy them as Rumblers as well.

Really they're dropping Heritage series? I work at Walmart, and generally after we put Eddie Guerrero and Ultimate Warrior out (From the series we currently have) they were gone by the end of the day... They should just do a basic legends set but don't use vague legends. Sure it was good for the FANS of those particular legends but what casual fan wanted Terry Funk in his old school attire?! Release this as a set: Macho Man (basic Wolfpac) Randy Orton (throwback, legend killer or 2002 Orton) John Cena (throwback, chain gang or prototype) Kane (2001 Kane) The Rock (any attire honestly, it'll sell) Ric Flair I guarantee that this set will sell more than any of the ing Cena/Orton/Rey Mysterio shelfwarmers.

I love Mattel figures so much but they're so bad at distribution and stuff that I almost hope they lose the contract soon.

I agree with you to an extent.Mattel is horrible at distributing their figures and they do put out immense amounts of peg warmers (Cena,OrtonMysterio) I would rather deal with that then go back to the atrocity that was produced by jakks back in the day.Don't get me wrong they had a long list of names and a very deep CS series but the face scans and painted on T shirts never appealed to me...Not hating on Jakks neither just stating my opinion.

I would love for Mattel to make some old timers that maybe they consider to risky to be elites in the basic line. Would love to see a Doink, Brutus Beefcake, Jake Roberts, LOD, Honky, Sid Justice in the basic line. I think its a possibility we will see more legends types in the line down the road, we will see. I would love to see a basic Vince Mcmahon as well.

Agreed. I can deal with crappy distribution, not crappy figures.

That's because putting them one per case was an awful idea. Just like putting HBK and Bret (and Goldust) one per case in Basic 14. Mattel has been doing a lot of things wrong that hurt the line - I hope that someday they will learn, but they've been doing this for over 10 years (way back in the 2002 He-Man line).

i would take a basic hart foundation just to have a mattel hart foundation. Would be easy enough to make into elites. Same with natural disasters, bulldogs, steiner brothers, and Fabulous Rougeau brothers. Also would like to see Doink, Brutus Beefcake, 80's hulk hogan, Honky, junk yard dog, koko b ware, and Greg the hammer valentine.
