My mattel papa shango doesnt have a removable hat. is this a rare varient? Please give me an answer and can you take some picks of your shango if it is removable or not. I have looked at videos and there are none that i have seen with a hat that is molded on.

It is removable, yours will just be on tight, run it under hot water and it should come right off!

Many people thought it wasn't removable at first, it's just the way it's made. It's just made to fit the head perfectly. Once you've taken it off, it's so much easier to take off every time after that. It remains a snug fit, though, every time you put it on. Mattel did perfect on the hat, IMO.
