got my set of Elite 16 on Saturday and my Double A on Monday, I should be getting my Basic 20 and 21 sets in a few days so there will be even more pictures, here are some pics I took in the meantime!
Heath Slater
when Slater first debuted on NXT I just could not believe they gave this guy a spot on that show, and truthfully until recently he really hadn't done anything to change my mind, he was just always sort of there to me, didn't stand out or anything, but for the last 3-4 months hes started to grow on me whenever I've seen him wrestle whether it be on Superstars or his recent run on RAW against the legends, so this figure is 1 of the ones I was anticipating from this set and it did not disappoint.
Love the attire, the ladder is a nice accessory and with his recent run with the legends on RAW im sure that will help move this figure from someone who might have shelf warmed (despite being .5 per case) to someone who should move nicely
Ezekiel Jackson
Again, much like Slater, Jackson will never be 1 of my favorite wrestlers but this figure is a very nice one to say the least, the headscan is awesome, and despite the IC title not being shiny it is a very nice accessory. Love the mold they used for Jackson.
Randy Orton
For me easily the figure I was least excited for, however I collect all Elite Orton's, and the green was a nice color choice. The new headscan is nice and since I don't have the Battle Pack with Christian or the basic 19 Orton this is the first time i've gotten the chance to see this scan in person, the problem however is there seems to be a spot of paint missing on his beard, ugh!
CM Punk
This is a great figure, love the scan, and yes the attire is a tad too close to the Elite 11 figure, but I still really do like the figure a lot, I collect all Punks so this will look great with the rest of my Punk collection as I anxiously await the BP with Triple H and the TRU Elite Punk
The Rock
Everyone has said it a billion times, so i will continue to beat this dead horse, the goatee is awful, and to make matters worse the legs on mine are incredibly loose and feel like they're about to snap off, not that happy with this figure AND hes got a paint smudge on his cheek that won't come off.
Diesel
Between Nash and Diesel easily the most anticipated figures of the set, I think they did a great job with the attire on Diesel, the vest looks great, the pants are awesome, but skin tone seems off to me, the head looks darker then the body or something, i don't know what it is but it kind of bothers me, I feel like I specifically remembering someone from Mattel saying they'd never allow something like that to happen... oh well.
Kevin Nash
Love this figure, however my biggest problem is the legs are incredibly stiff on mine, I havent been able to bend the legs forward yet for the fear of snapping it right off, drives me crazy when i get a Mattel like that ESPECIALLY one that will be near impossible to get a replacement of.
Despite that I think the figure is great, the scan is awesome, the attire choice is nice and it inspired me (along with the nWo Savage) to go out and find ways to fill out the nWo roster
nWo work in progresses awaiting some gear to put on them
here are some action shots I took (without my ring because i'm away from my house where my ring is)
'Double A' Arn Anderson
love this figure, from the first time we saw of it I could not wait to get it, the wait for Tully in September will be exhausting but I can't wait to have the Brain Busters complete and most of the Horsemen done as well. Love how they were accurate to the 'follically challenged' Enforcer with the bald spot in the back of his head. Besides the obvious complaints about his legs being too scrawny the figure is great, and I love the old school Tag Team championship.
