You should have bought a pillow and HHH/Cena/Taker pillow case and bed sheets.

Hi im new to the forums (not new to collecting) but can someone tell me exactly what a scalper is? I kinda of get it but not fully. Someone who buys harder to find figures with the intentions of selling them at a higher price on Ebay (or similar) to make a profit.

You should have bought a pillow and HHH/Cena/Taker pillow case and bed sheets. I should have. Nothing impresses the ladies more than the WWE bedset when they come over.

I don't know if this is the right question regarding your topic, but what's the story behind the missing pillow?

I don't know if this is the right question regarding your topic, but what's the story behind the missing pillow? Well -- we started filming our next Production, "Aftermath" a couple weekends ago, and this past weekend we were in a basement... The basement we used was moldy and wet and not clean...I brought 2 of my pillows on set (they were old and needed to be replaced anyways) but they ended up getting moldy and dirty and blood stained, etc... It was just best to replace them, and the 1 pillow I had left was just not enough.

Please tell me the two in the picture did the "Beat it" fight knife dance.. Damn it -- that would have been so much better. No, in this particular scene, the gentleman you see is attempting to do something to her that is pretty unspeakable -- and things obviously did not go his way, exactly.

Hi im new to the forums (not new to collecting) but can someone tell me exactly what a scalper is? I kinda of get it but not fully. In polite terms they are someone who buys the toys to sell for profit, but around here they have turned into magical fat monsters who buy up every action figure in the toys section which is not a Cana, Mysterio or Orton. They do this to spite the collectors and feed their incredible need for hamburgers, pizza rolls and porn. Go to the classifieds on here and notice how many people list rare figures for cost+shipping and wonder which is the kettle and which is the pot. I'm pretty sure every WWE figure scalper is a member on here. And certainly the ones who are selling the new figures for megabucks on classifieds here are no better than the ones who are selling them for megabucks on Ebay or at flea markets.

I have seen that at my Wal-Mart a few years ago, but not with WWE figures - with Hot Wheels. We had one guy come in and see that they had 8 cases on the pallets, and he proceeded to open each one, take the one car he wanted, and literally dump the case out on the floor - then open the next case and did the same thing - to all 8 cases. I got there a few minutes later and the store employee (young male instead of the old lady) was literally shaking with anger at this guy, who was supposedly banned at that store, but I don't know how they can enforce something like that. Regardless, he was a real piece of work. Hot wheel collectors are the worst. They used to accuse me of scalping the good ones when I worked at Kmart when I don't know the good from the bad. Got to the point where we had to take all hotwheel cases of pallet stacks due to these idiots pulling them off the bottom of the stack and knocking it over.

I used to work at a department store in the toy isle way back when. And it's crazy watching grown men act like that.
I usually look, get what I want, and walk away. If I find what I'm looking for great good I'm happy. But if I don't I spend about a minute being bummed, then back to the real world.

To add to this, I have been to ToysRus a few times at open and when they open the doors those guys run and they enter through the exit door. One of the times this happened I just walked like I normally would through the correct door and went to the action figure aisle and saw 2 legends Rocks. I picked up one and as soon as I did one of those f***ers ran, not walked, ran, over to where I was standing and snatched down the other one. I don't usually see the wrestling scalpers, It's generally the sports pick guys and the Hot Wheels collectors who are at my local TRU acting asses.

Back in about January I went to TRU before I had to be into work, and there was a good sized crowd standing there apparently for Skylanders toys. All of them grown men, all of them knew each other and acted like I was some sort of threat because they didn't recognize me because I generally have better things to do than hang out in front of stores waiting for them to open. One guy asked if I was waiting for Skylanders and I said that I was waiting for WWE. I have never seen someone look down their nose, roll their eyes, and snicker like that before. In addition to no longer being a threat to his precious Skylanders I am also an inferior collector for liking wrestling collectibles. It's amazing that classes exist in the collecting community. I've always felt that people should collect whatever makes them happy. Clearly from what I have seen these grown-ass adults aren't happy with their toys.

Thats pretty ridiculous. I've bought quite a lot of figures in the past and even now, but I still won't mess up a toy aisle in search for one. That was nice of you to help the lady clean up though. It's just a shame how some people are.

So let me get this straight... You don't have a pillow to sleep on, and rather than spending a few dollars on a pillow at warlmart last night so you could sleep you bought $20 action figures? lol WOW! Nice snag but i think you should set your priorities to handle important stuff before you let these Mattels take over your income and life.

I actually could feel negative vibes coming off those guys. Then there's the guy who stands right in front about an inch from the doors looking through the glass like a psycho. Most of them went away for a while then they came back when the new Marvel Legends were hitting.

Glad you got the pack Rob. It's a great Pack & very good that you got it! Good thing you went at the time you did to see that Pack. Ok, so a grown man throwing a fit. If he wants so bad to throw a fit & throw figures on the ground like a baby, get it online. Once again, congrats man

when i was younger i had a fat ass scalper try to push me out of the way to get to CS series 1 HBK, I took a cart and bashed him in the knees, while he was down i went into his cart and took the entire series 1 figures and a few others and went to the manager and said he tried to beat me up and take my figures, ever since then that guy has been banned from that TRU, To this day his picture is still at every cash register. I feel proud
