This certainly would make sense as to why we didn't see a proto of this figure yet. I sure hope it isn't true because I want this figure bad, but it certainly is a possibility. Its def not a possibility dude. Don't you guys realize that Kevin Nash is listed as for sale in the set on RSC at $39.99 same as Diesel and not only that but MDT also stated he would be made in his red attire coming with nWo WHC belt. So no none of this is true as Nash is just packed .5 per case they say and is not a build a figure. The only BAF's we are getting come in special series and seem to be less popular, suited characters that make it easier for Mattel to give us, the collectors guys like Michael Cole, John Laurinaitis, Paul Bearer, Ricardo etc etc Just because RSC has it up for "pre-order" doesn't mean crap. They are a secondary market. They are not Mattel. Also, just because Mattel stated that it would be in the red attire with the WHC doesn't mean they can't change their minds. They have changed their minds 100 times already on us. I hope you are right and it is just .5 packed figure, but it certainly is a possibility that they went this route on us. It would be a way to get an extra "Legend" to us and boost their sales because now we have to buy figures that we wouldn't normally buy to get the piece to build him.

It isn't. pre order on RSC. Maybe RSC build him LOL I'm sure if Mattel changed their minds and made it a BAF, RSC just doesn't know anymore about it than we do. They were probably informed one thing and then the plan was changed and not relayed back to them yet.

I think the MDT would have mentioned it!!! I don't think it's a BAF at all and they also said the next BAF will be in the WM series

The only series to have a BAF are the TRU BOPVV series.

Seriously, we're going to freak out about what some random person said in the COMMENTS section for a picture?? Come on, now. Don't you think MDT would have said something in their detailed explanation regarding this set?
I know this is a message board, but, as Ron Simmons would say .......

Nash and diesel are one per case. The person who took the pictures got a hold of a diesel case.
Thus no pictures of Nash. Problem solved. Anyone who thinks its a BAF is a Timmy.

Whether if it is a .5 per case figure or a BAF makes no difference to me. He will be impossible to find in a store anyway.

Think about what you're saying. These figures are going to be on RSC very soon. MDT posted that message less than a month ago. Do you really think there is time for this "change their minds" nonsense? These figures aren't designed the day before RSC gets them, kid. Anyone having a fit because of an idiotic comment from some shortbusser on Facebook is a moron.

Mattel has said recently that Nash and Diesel are variant figures.
they can't have changed their minds on it that quickly. BAF's are made in a different way so that they can be put together. That would take time and effort that Mattel just doesn't have at this point.
I like that all this mess came from a comment on facebook. How is that a more reliable source than RSC and Mattel themselves?

Elite figures would jump in price to 20.99 if Mattel started to do this. I hope they never consider it for the elite line.
