We saw the pics from Elite 16, and we were wondering why we haven't seen Nash yet. So, I was looking around on Mattels FB page. There was also the photo of E16, and some commented "Nash will be a Build a Figure, so better buy the whole set."
I actually think, this could be true.

this isnt true by any means. You can actually order the figure by itself on RSC which gives you proof its not a BAF.

How can it be a BaF when it's available for preorder on RSC? Why would you even think about trusting info from some random person and not FACTS from RSC like the FACT you can preorder the figure by itself.....

Mattel just knows there is hype and there will be disappointment no matter what Nash looks like. Delay his image until the MOC set images show up and you guys can say how crummy the figure looks and how cool the nwo packaging looks.

Nash is a normal figure, not a BAF.

I wouldn't want it to be a build-a-figure, his quad would just keep tearing off.

I wouldn't want it to be a build-a-figure, he's quard would just keep tearing off. This joke would of been so much more effective if you had properly said "His Quad"

I'd hate him being a BaF seeing I only want Orton, Diesel & Nash from the set.

Another store is selling cases. They only list Diesel. When there are known variants, they will warn the buyer that they can not guarantee which version will be shipped since they do not open the cases. Did Mattel ever specifically announce how Diesel/Nash would be sold? I really can't remember any official word. RSC could have been assuming and they'll just refund anyone if they were wrong.

MDT from the E16 Thread. If it were a BaF, they would have mentioned it: Notes on this set: Rock will be from Survivor Series with goatee Diesel is Old School Diesel from 1994-1995. Nash is in Red with NWO version of the World title. Randy Orton was put in assortment when it was thought we would need another Elite Orton at retail in 2012. Obviously with the E12 Orton sticking around a lot longer on the pegs than we would have liked this was not the case, but with Elite we have to plan almost a year out to account for extras like accessories and soft goods. We actually toyed with removing him completely from the assortment but could not, as we had to remove another figure who's TV time fell off the face of the earth to add Rock, and did not have another standby choice ready to go. In any case he will actually be somewhat rare as he is not being produced in a great number. Heath Slater's outfit is one we can only really reproduce accurately in Elite due to the amount of deco. He will include a brand new accessory as well, our first ever Elite Super Sized Ladder ( to commemorate his participation in Money in the Bank last year). Thanks Bill

This certainly would make sense as to why we didn't see a proto of this figure yet. I sure hope it isn't true because I want this figure bad, but it certainly is a possibility.

Its def not a possibility dude. Don't you guys realize that Kevin Nash is listed as for sale in the set on RSC at $39.99 same as Diesel and not only that but MDT also stated he would be made in his red attire coming with nWo WHC belt. So no none of this is true as Nash is just packed .5 per case they say and is not a build a figure. The only BAF's we are getting come in special series and seem to be less popular, suited characters that make it easier for Mattel to give us, the collectors guys like Michael Cole, John Laurinaitis, Paul Bearer, Ricardo etc etc
