Hey guys I just noticed this in a Kmart ad here at home. Kmart is helping collectors out by having an Orton Elite 12 sale. Hurry in because today's the last day.

I love how the only figure they have in the ad is E12 Orton. Though, that's probably the only selection you have at the stores lol.

I just got back from shopping today.. but Orton is everywhere , and i mean it.. next time i go , i will video cam it. i went to 3 wamarts 2 targets and kmart , this guy is an EPIDEMIC !!
MATTEL is butchering the market.. I even saw SumSlam heritage full. who was the number one mass quantity ?? Orton !! Elites everywhere...
very sad. Mysterio is about the same along with Cena. overproduced. cuz there the best sellers to kids i guess. and they take merchandise percentage in there contracts so they have to get there money.

Somehow I don't think even that bug of a price drop will get rid of all of the ones in my hood. We should dig a landfill next to all those Jacqueline figures from 1999.

i just got orton yesterday, my friend done me a deal on it and shango ( which i was gonna buy ) for £15. so i basically got orton for free, otherwise i probably wouldn't have bought it. but apart from shelfwarming, it's actually a great figure.

I actually really like E12 Orton, but then I don't get the frustration that you guys are feeling because there's barely any Elites in Canada. It's too bad this figure gets under-appreciated because of this. I had to get my E12 Orton online but it was just $10 shipped.

Hey Mattel.
You do fantastic work on your figures, and I thank you for that. But how about no Cena's, Orton's, and Mysterio's for the next 4-5 Basic, Elite and Battle Packs Series. You might be able to get your figures out there easier.

I feel your pain , but look at what you just wrote in the bottom part, and then you ask yourself why we hate it !! lol..

I went to K-mart last night and the newest thing they had was 1 RRH Del Rio and like 6 or 7 Rock/Cena 2 packs.

you know how you guys could get rid of the Orton's? And help a great cause?
Buy them and donate them to Toys for Tots. They need toys year round, not just at Christmas time. And kids who have nothing won't care if it's a "shelfwarmer", it's a WWE figure and it could be one of their only toys. If you've got the storage space, buy them, put them in a closet, and load up a Toys for Tots bin at Christmas time. Your local stores will have less inventory sitting around and room will be made for new figures and a less fortunate child will have a nice toy to play with.

The problem with your theory is that it will make it seem like Orton is a high seller and will cause Mattel to make more figures of Orton. I don't want to see more Orton figures. Hell I don't understand why we are getting a crap load of Mysterio figures when he hasn't been on TV in almost a year (not including the Slammys appearance) but that is a different topic.

I agree, dont buy and they wont over produce them. The numbers wont lie when it comes time to review the sales. If they see a MASSIVE dropoff in Orton and Mysterio sales, they will hopefully quit overproducing them But remeber that WWE might have contracts with Orton and Mysterio for both to have a certain percentage of the take of sales.

I love how the ad only features E12 Orton. I bought one as a gift for my nephew. I may have to buy another one just to help these suckers move so I can hopefully find E13.
