Congrats. I, like many, were eyeing that piece for a while, but was nervous to purchase it from that buyer. Pretty good price too, considering the rarity

Awesome piece. It's nice just to know that one more MIB example of this still exists and is being taken care of.

Awesome piece! I especially love the headsculpt. It's much better than anything Jakks or Mattel have done.

Sorry but your Story is........... Man Man Man Sorry, vincentvega, but icancu202 is legit; he lives in Massachusetts. He bought the Bossman from that german seller that used your pic in his auction, but showed his real Bossman here. Ok if you say he is ok!!! It was just curios! If show my MIB Bossman and suddenly someone sells this figure with my photo! Good Work Mate! Then we are the only two Owners with a MIB Boss Man from StarToy

I was a collector for over 10 years and until the start of this new year, I've never seen a Star Toys Big Boss Man figure with his original shirt, much less...still MIB. I consider ourselves VERY lucky, lol. Anyways, I've been thinking lately...does anyone know or have an idea on why this particular figure is so difficult to find compared to the rest of the series? I mean, every so often you will see them all pop up on eBay. In fact, there's a seller who has Hogan, Warrior, Jake Roberts and Jim Duggan all listed as I speak.

So you're thinking he was made in smaller quantities compared to everyone else in the set? And I definitely agree with you on the fact that he looks MUCH better than the others, without question.

If you wanted this figure so bad i'm just wondering why you listed it on Ebay for $2,259.99?

If you wanted this figure so bad i'm just wondering why you listed it on Ebay for $2,259.99? I think very highly of this figure. As a collector, I always wanted to own it and I still do. But unfortunately, like many people...I have bills, which totally sucks. I'd be willing to part with it BUT only if the price is right. I think most collectors could say that even about their most cherished and prized possessions in their collections. Like Ted Dibiase says, "Everybody has a price..." I don't have a price in mind but if I believe it's worth letting go for...then I'll do it. If not, I'll keep it because I won't retract my earlier statement. This is my most prized possession as far as wrestling figures go that I ever owned, without a doubt.

I hear you about bills as i'm in my fifth year out of work with 4 little ones and i've been selling off all my collectibles for years but you were so excited about getting it. I hope you get a lot for it if it does sell.

Yea as a collector it's always fun when people put up items and people place bids but the seller really has no interest in actually selling it. Has to be an easier way to assess value then putting up an auction to pull it down In the last 24 hrs and waisting everyone else's time.

Has to be an easier way to assess value then putting up an auction to pull it down In the last 24 hrs and waisting everyone else's time. I admit, I waited a bit too long before deciding on my original auction. I didn't want to risk selling it for too low, when it was quite that...even though I know with all auction formats, most people wait for the very last second to bid. However, my natural collector instincts tell me that a "Best Offer" type auction would be the best way to go as a collector could give their bottom line price, which in turn makes it easier for the both the potential buyer & the seller. Also, you say I have NO interest in selling? Like I stated, I will have my price...what it is, I do not know yet, until I start seeing some offers. A lot of collectors out there for toy lines in general are willing to pay good money for true gems like this, because I know if I didn't have the bills like I do and I had good money...I would. Plain and simple.

I know, I'm just being negative because I WANT IT haha.if you are raising funds you should sell somethings that you know you can get back once your situation changes. We both know you'll never see bossman again.

We both know you'll never see bossman again. No problem man. I COMPLETELY understand because I was once in your shoes wanting in that bad too, lol. And yes, I do realize that if I sell The Big Boss Man, that I will never see it again. There are always figures out there that many collectors consider IMPOSSIBLE to find, this is just one of them. That reason in itself, is one of the major factors in why I need a good offer in order to part with this.

Great figure , but I doubt you will get anything like that I'm guessing you will get a few offers from 100-300 max ! I have thought about selling my signed hasbro set which I have 66 signed and 30 unsigned , but realistically what would I get for the set?? I'd put them up for 20,000 but realistically I'll get 1-2000. As collectors we always feel are collections are worth more but really there only worth what people will pay? I hope this makes sense
