I'm pretty sure you are correct sir. I'm guessing that it had to do with how closely the WWE played the drama this summer to their chest. I remember that E11 punk was going to be in the best of 2011 set and was yanked which would explain why we only got 5 figures.
I hope that Mattel is taking notes right now, though. He's had that belt for a hot minute, and is very popular. I like his new Elite, but I prefer the basic body, for some reason that Elite counterpart is skinnier, and has the hourglass that I dislike. (Please Mattel, we need that torso replaced, too, if even Rey Mysterio is getting his own new torso.)
Punk with his hair slicked back is in high demand constantly on this forum, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's somewhere down the pipeline. Just don't put him in any more Battle Packs. I rarely want both of the figures that are offered in those sets.
On a side note, for a guy who has far less figures than Cena, Orton, and Mysterio, he has 5 headscans to his 9 figures (excluding flexforce). Oh, and I also was going to mention that the Blue he wore last night looked awesome and I would love to see it on a basic, that or Green.

I'm willing to bet there will be a lot of CM Punk figures coming down the pipe line from Basics, Elites to Rumblers. Punk better be in the next Elite set.

Why would you not include the PPV series or 2 packs...they are Basic figures.

His last basic was the one with Savage, right?
