I've FINALLY done it.. I've managed to set up all my wrestling figures together in one setup! I've tallied them up, and there are a grand total of 450 different workers (not counting the animal characters, like Fifi, Frankie, and Matlida).. and when adding in the alternate outfits, my grand total of figures is 543!
I do realize that more of my figures are Jakks than Mattel.. however, I'm posting on this board. The primary traffic on the site is here, and I'd like to show my collection off to the core of this board. Also, I have quite a few Mattels in there. I've seen collections of Mattels posted on this board with less than I have, so I figure it's fair game. There are a number of different styles of figures in the pose, including TNA/WCW Toybiz, two BCAs, RA/RI, DA/DI, Elite, Basic, and LLUSA. As a heads up.. among the Mattel figures are the Nexus 8, Steamboat, Primo, Tatsu, Sheamus, McIntyre, the Usos, Del Rio, two of the 3 Von Erichs.. and probably a few more.
There are a number of customs and fixups in the picture. I won't name them all, but offhand, among them are: Mike Awesome, Shane Douglas, Nick Patrick, Gran Akuma, Alex Wright, Owen Hart, Teddy Hart, Tony Schiavone, Disco Inferno, David Von Erich, Tyler Reks, Stevie Ray, Chad Collyer, Preston Quinn, Milano Collection AT, Juventud Gurrerra, Hallowicked, Christopher Daniels, and quite a few more.
There are also a few Rocky figures. That adds to my collection: Sylvester Stallone (who's had involvement with wrestling), Frank Stallone (who trained on Hogan's CCW), Lou Fillipo (an actual boxing ref), Brent Musberger (announcer), Jim Lampley (announcer), Larry Merchant (announcer), Mike Tyson (boxer), Jimmy Lennon (ring announcer), and Micheal Buffer (ring announcer)
Oh, and who's NOT in this video that could be? Very, very few people are missing.. but to name them:
FROM THE BCA SERIES (IF you consider these in scale, which I really don't, but I did get Taka and Henry Godwin.. so) - Phineas Godwin, Jackyl, Flash Funk, Kurrgan, Jacqueline, Clarence Mason, Recon, Sniper, Chainz, 8 Ball, Skull
FROM TNA/WCW TOYBIZ SERIES - Chase Stevens (pending), Lance Hoyt, Matt Bentley, Miss Elizabeth
FROM LLUSA - Super Nova, Lizmark Jr.
FROM JAKKS (not counting UFC people) - Mr. T, Daffney, Terry Taylor, Kazarian, Madison Rayne
FROM MATTEL - Brodus Clay, Mason Ryan, Alex Riley
I feel pretty confident in saying that every other person released in those lines has a figure in the setup!
Finally.. some people have belts. Those are from the figure fed my brother and I have (I run WCW, TNA, and NWA.. bro runs WWE, ECW, and ROH). Austin is his WWE Champ, HBK is my WCW Champ.. the other belts you can just figure out. I did NOT divide the workers by which company they work for whatsoever (Kofi and Evan aren't in the same company, for instance), but I did try to put stables and tag teams together when possible.
So, first I'm posting the video.. and then a series of pictures.. 50+, check em out!
In addition, here are two customs of nobodies (cameramen), and four "duplicates" that we use for other people (Chavo is used for Hector, Kurt is used for Eric Angle, the Regal ref is Jack Doane, and Rey is El Hijo de Rey Misterio)
And then, my props and accessories that weren't featured above:
... and the alternate outfits of people that were in the big posed set of pictures. This brings the total number of figures to 543!
Finally, after I was all done.. my Chris Jericho broke! Lucky for me, I had a replacement in my parts/customizing bin.. so here's the broken Jericho and his replacement...
So, there's my setup, thanks for checking it out!
