So as the title states, are there any comic book fans here? I recently got into them and really enjoy reading them. I am really especially into the DC New 52. Anyone else? What are your favorites?

For future reference, there is a Comic Book board.
But yeah, I love Comic Books. They are a short but fun read.

Marvel until the mid 90s was gold, especially x-men and spiderman. Simpsons and Futurama comics are also always fun to read.

Currently I'm reading the new Ultimate Spider-Man (even though I swore I'd hate not having Peter Parker around in it), IDW's new TMNT run, Deadpool, Avenging Spider-Man (just released issue 1 a week or two ago), The Walking Dead (huge fan of the comics), X-23, X-Force, and I'm about to start up on Uncanny X-Force.
I'm also considering going back and re-buying the Parker run of Ultimate Spidey.
EDIT: and Joss Whedon's run with Astonishing X-Men was brilliant.

I have a box of Superman comics, just about every issue from 1990-2002. My older brother collected growing up, and I got in to it fairly young and kept it going for a while myself.
I'm gonna pass them on to my kids. Essentially just for them to read the death of Superman issue, which I'd say is one of the top 5 comic books of all time.

I am a huge comic book fan, Batman and Catwoman are my all time favorite comic book characters and DC is my favorite company. I haven't really read any of the New 52, I have the first two issues of Catwoman, but I haven't read them yet. I'm currently focusing on DC's Post Crisis stories ATM, then when I'm done with that I'm probably going to get some Pre-Crisis Silver and Golden Age collections. Then I'll probably catch up on the New 52 because I'm hoping by then they'll have more TPB collections for the newer stuff.
And although I'm not too into Marvel other than their movies, I LOVE the X-Men. Definitely my favorite non-DC series, as well as Spider-Man.
As for my current collection, I have at least 80 different Post Crisis DC TPB's and I plan on getting like 10 more this month. It's a really nice TPB collection that I proudly display on my bookshelf. I also have a ton of DC action figures.

I'm a casual reader. I don't get too far into series, I prefer graphic novels and mini-series. Watchmen is definitely my favorite, followed by The Long Halloween.

One of my all time favorites is the issue of Green Lantern that was in the Return of Superman storyline. It was one of the last GL comic books before Hal Jordan went rogue and wiped out the Corps. Jordan gets the living snot beat out of him by Mongul and yet he refuses to give up despite all of his injuries. I love that story.

I read them when I have time to stop at my comic shop. I really love the new Batman Beyond series and the new Batwoman comics.

I used to be an avid reader, but they just got way too expensive and the stories started getting way too convoluted for their own good. There's just no way I could justify spending anywhere from $3 to $6 on a 12 page comic with a paragraphs worth of text that I'm finished with in 3 minutes. The stories also got ridiculous, for some series, you'd have to be familiar with 30 years worth of continuity in order to have any clue what was going on, and for others they would just retcon everything and make stuff up as they went along. I still sometimes buy the trades however.

I have a lot of comic books for sell, most are from the 90's (Marvel/DC) but I have a couple others (Batman/Superman/Archie/Scooby-Doo/Ninja Turtles/Richie Rich & more) from other years.

All Ive really read is Scott Pilgrim, Dragonball and Walking Dead which im very passionate about but I really want to start reading Batman stuff. I would say try to pick up the New 52 from DC. I am a new collector and went into the comic shop and asked the guy what to try, he said DC has rebooted all the series' and this is the new stuff. I have read Batman, and have Batman The Dark Knight to go. So far they are only on issue 3 or 4. They are pretty good reads too.
