The Throne is good, but Carter 4 is much better.

Hate both albums.... haven't listened to either It's not...As I believe Taylor Swift holds the record still. And if not her...Then Lady Gaga...But she also holds the record for the biggest drop off...So lol.

Gaga has the biggest selling album [first week] this year so far. But her album is not the best selling new album of 2011 so far. I'm pretty sure Adele is the leader with 2.5+ million CDs sold [so far]. Anyways great for Lil Wayne. I like most of the songs I've heard of his.

Carter 4 wasn't bad, but it's just same old Wayne that we've heard for years. Nothing really new or fresh. I still think the man's best work was in 2008/2009. How ANY one can like Lady Gaga is beyond me. She's the worst musician of this decade.

I Can't Stand Lil Wayne. He Sounds So Annoying & Another Thing About Him He Steals Peoples Beats & Doesnt Pay Them. I agree but for a different reason. I have a couple friends who pretty much have a man crush on Lil Wayne and keep playing the same damn songs over and over and over and...well you get the point. It's gotten to the point that I really don't care what song it is I can't stand him.

I refer to Lil Wayne as 'Lil Metaphor'. I will agree, that some metaphors he raps are pretty creative/good, but that's all his songs have become. About every single line is a metaphor. All of his songs are the same... same tone and same structure, just with a different beat (even though a lot of his/Young Money beats are generic crunk beats). I'm not saying I hate him, he's just too mainstream, IMO ofcourse. But hey, atleast hes making bank, I'll give it to him. I'm just gonna have to get use it, haha

Don't say Wayne is a better lyricist either because I can then start naming better lyricists. How anyone can like Wayne I'll never understand.

Its a shame The Game couldn't come close to that. He had by far the better album imo.

Jamal i haven't listened to the whole Game CD yet but it did sound good from what i did listen to. Cockboy, yeah he is very mainstream now but its makin him the money and in the rap game and any music you have to be able to adapt to what's popular and he did that. Can't fault him, i am glad he does put out some good mixtapes too though.

I am not really into Weezy, I got the album, it was better than I thought it would be. Waaayyyyy better than Watch The Throne IMO. However as stated Game had a better album. The thing is some people just can't get into his style, he's one of my favorites out right now.

How anyone can like Wayne I'll never understand. She can sing? I guess if that's what you want to call it. She very much repeats herself A LOT, and she's very much a Madonna rip off. She's a product of gimmick and her popularity has already decreased quite significantly. Wayne may not be the best artist out there but he has so many different types of songs you can listen to. As far being a better lyricist, Wayne is definitely superior of the 2, but that doesn't mean he's the best. It's not hard to be a better lyricist than Lady Blahblah.
