In cage matches why, if there is a door you can walk out of, why in the blue hell would you waste your time and effort trying to climb the cage or even pin your opponent? And I'm not talking about 'telling a story in the ring', I'm saying even in wrestling, it would be more logical to walk out of the door each time. One reason why this stipulation is ridiculous - LOCK THE DOOR EACH TIME. If you want to get out the door, knock the referee out and steal the key Or get Mark Henry to pull the door off the hinges

This is one of those suspend your disbelief moments. There are many, MANY things in professional wrestling that should you think to hard about, will make no sense at all.
No need to dissect it. Just enjoy the match.

Um if you think about it that hard nothing in wrestling makes sense. Think about it, in any feud logically why do the wrestlers wait a week between shows to get back at their opponent. If it was real life they would go after them asap. Also why do characters completely change over night? Why does john cena not care that Orton punted his dad. Why do HHH and Vince forget that Orton Rkod Stephanie. Having the cage door just helps add drama. It's just a tv show man.

Just enjoy the match. I agree, if you actually think real hard about things that happen, most won't make sense. If a champion can keep the title on a DQ and count-out, then why not do that every time.

I know. It seems kinda stupid, but I guess it adds to the drama.
I don't like the fact that there can be pinfalls and submissions in cage matches. I forgot if they eliminated this or not.

Remember the days when you actually had to escape the cage? Having pinfall and submission as alternatives ruins the match for me.

If we're thinking super hard, then why put two guys who want to rip each other apart in a match where the object is to run away from each other?

Lol yup definitely gets you thinking I'll tell you one thing, wrestling was always better for me as a kid, since I could 'believe' in it Now all I can do is pass on my love of it to my kids and hope they get the same as I got out of it back in the day

If Chris Hero has a "loaded" elbow pad, why does he wait so long to use it? Why doesn't he just use it at the beginning of the match and pick up the win right away?

Just enjoy the match. yeah like why in a four way match you'd help your opponent get another guy off the cage instead of jetting out the other side. or when the GM sends out The Great Khali or Mark Henry instead of being all scared the heel doesn't just high tail it into the crowd like Orton does after he punks Nexus members.
