I don't think the Elite ankles are intended to move side to side. They probably just made a poor mould for that part.

It isnt going to solve anything and your losing posing & playablilty. How are you supposed to do Shawn Micheals pose without the side to side motion.
If you have problems you fix them! You dont start throwing bits away.
Again you wont be solving nothing. You should be asking how/when will Mattel work on fixing the loose ankle problem.
If you want basic aticulation get basics.
DAMN!!!!!!

have you been reading my posts? lol this is exactly what i've been suggesting for the last few months. all Mattel needs to do is change the lower ankle joint and Elites would be perfect.

sorry for the double post, Heres a Solution to your problem. Put a Dab or two of superglue on the weak ankle joint, let sit for a second or two or three then start moving the ankle joint back and fourth until you get the desired effect. obviously dont let the glue stick them together but after moving the joint it should thicken up the joint a bit making it not as useless

As a displayer I would like this idea. Mattel should really look in to it. I don't think the side ways movement is really needed at all anyway.

I don't really have a problem with loose ankles, I just think the elite ankles tend to look really stupid. Far, far more often than not there are big gaps between the foot and leg and it just looks ridiculous.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't have a problem with the Elite/Legends styled ankles. The only figure I've had fall is the custom Hogan I made. Support

I've never found the elite ankles substantially more poseable than the basic ankles anyway, but the big gap looks weird. I would be in favour of switching elites to the same kind of ankles as basics.

i don't have a problem with any of my elites standing so it doesn't matter to me one way or another.

My basic Benjamin has a loose ankle funny enough but none of my Elites have one thats that bad, its easy to fix and I prefer the Elite ankle. Whats the easy fix for loose elite ankles, if you don't mind sharing? As zombieapocalypse has now said, just add a small amount of super glue to the joint and move it around so it doesnt stick but creates a new thin layer for more friction and supprot.

I dont play with them so I would prefer them all to be basic ankle joints. Same here
