There's no way Cena will ever be better than Hulk Hogan. I'm not a Hogan fan at all, but your comment was just incredibly disrespectful. Hogan has done way more for this business than Cena ever will. Dude, almost every single one of your comments toward Cena are disrespectful... Yet if anyone says anything about it, THEY'RE the ones that get in trouble.. Welcome to dictatorship ladies and gentleman.

Yeah. But then again, Brooklyn Brawler > Hulk Hogan. Where's that kid who was whining about people disrespecting Hogan now? Most overrated wrestler ever. Good character, that's about it.

I'm sorry, but Cena is worse than Hogan. Case and point, right ing here: I mean, had that taken place back in the old days, you wouldn't see that guy for like 2 months. He would be on the shelf. But, Cena?? After getting blown the up, I believe he came out on Raw the very next night without ANY marks on him and not even selling it. Cena is by FAR worse than Hogan. That video proves it. Its bad booking not Cenas fault. Hogan was just a straight up terrible wrestler. Cena was great in his early days.

Duirng the 80's, Hogan's "superman" gimmick was more believable than Cena's "superman" gimmick during the 00's. Even when Hogan did the "Hulk Up," he still sold his injuries after a match. I can't tell you guys how many times I've seen Cena get his ass kicked for 20 minutes and then act totally fine after the match is over. Cena is far more athletic, and during 2003 and 2004, he showed that he was pretty good in the ring, but since 2005, he has been pretty bad in the ring. Hogan was just more entertaining IMO and could make matches more emotional.

Hogan was way worse than Cena. He'd take someone's finisher and get straight back up. Made me think of this lol

Cena has never been a GREAT wrestler and he was terrible at it in his early days. he's improved vastly though. either way, Cena > Hogan imo because I don't see Cena ever thinking he's bigger than the business, where Hogan thinks his name alone will pack a 30,000 seat arena.

Back in Hogan's day that was how Vince booked his top guys.Warrior was the same way.So were the Road Warriors in the NWA back in the 80s. Get over it.Its not like Cena is the first person booked this way.

I think you just like making up your own history. Cena did not even show up the next night. That was when the Miz called him out and he didn't show up, starting the whole "Miz undefeated against Cena" angle. And the week after that he limped out to the ring and got beat down with a few punches by the Big Show.

Cena was "injured" for several weeks after that. Hogan took guys FINISHERS and got straight back up. Cena doesn't do that. Sometimes he overcomes the odds and gets a stupid win, but not to that extent. Hogan is worse. 100%.

I watched Hogan's entire run, and have seen all of Cenas.
Hogan was by FAR worse than Cena is now. As a kid, I got so sick of the rinse/repeat formula of Hogan's matches, and watching him get beat downs of epic proportions, and suddenly hulk up, punch, punch, irish whip, big boot, legdrop, pin. Hogan didn't put anyone over for years, and you never seriously thought Hogan was in any danger at all, because you knew he would hulk up. Even as super human as Cena can be sometimes, he doesn't just straight up dominate his opponents like Hogan did.

I was really sick of the Cena character from 06 - 09, but he began to win me over again last year. His feud with the Nexus was solid until he went over them Hulk Hogan style. He has been awesome this year thus far.
I wasn't alive during the original Hogan boom, but as I review the past, Hogan was A LOT worse than Cena currently is.

Ok now i subscribe to WWE on demand. I was watching it last night as i was bored and it had Hogan/Akeem on. Now i'm sorry whoever says Cena is like superman has never saw Hogan. He got beat up by Akeem,Bossman, and a night stick for a good 3 minutes then all the sudden "hulks up". I know this topic is pretty pointless or w/e but i don't know how people can complain about Cena when it looks like Hogan was just as bad if not worse. Hogan was worse as far with the the invulnerability booking. He did 1 one job on TV--a massive cluster-- in 6 years. If he was in a tag match, he almost always got the pin. In the 80s, no one was ever booked as Hulk's equal. At least Cena looks beatable every once in awhile.

If there was no Hogan, there would be no Cena. Bottom F***ing line! As if there weren't guys who set the stage for Hulk? If it wasn't for guys like Billy Graham, Bruno Sammartino, and most importantly, Vince McMahon, Hulk would have passed out of the mainstream by 1986.

I do not like cena at all but there has been plenty of times where cena would take the pin for someone regardless. He puts people over, even if its 61 year old announcer Jerry Lawler. Cena looks out for the WWe unlike hulk who only looks out for himself.

I was never a Hogan fan, I could careless if he won or lose I didn't care about Hogan. I was kinda a fan of Cena when he came to the WWE but as of late I've become a Cena fan, I think he does alot for the WWE, the fans, and the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Hogan taking everything and hulking up was his specialty. Cena is protrayed as "just another guy" on the roster and that's why it's so annoying that he can't lose a clean match. That and we're in the 10s now... That superhero thing may have been in the 80s. They are totally different times and eras. After watching a beer drinking "take no crap" rebel carry the company for the last decade, going back to the cookie cutter "eat your vitimins, say your prayers" face is a HUGE step-backwards.
WWE should be evolving and getting better. Not going backwards.
