I truly believe this was fascinating. The Muslim protesters all stopped protesting to pray and during the prayer the Christian protesters protected the Muslim protesters from any violence. That really is something amazing.

Alright, I thought you were just mocking me or something.
Supposedly Mubarak will speak any minute.

He is speaking now and he's full of crap.
Talking about how he supports the people's freedoms.
He sent his people out and 18 are dead because of it. Thousands are wounded.
He is a dictator. Dictators don't support freedoms.

He is STAYING in power but he's fired the entire rest of the government and will create a new government tomorrow.

I can haz cunfyooshun nowz? What are you confused about? I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my ability. David Corn said it best. "If he gets to pick the new government doesn't that prove the point of protesters?"

This is just going to enrage the protestors even more. I predict even more chaos and mayhem and a total over-thrown goverment at some point during this craziness.

The police and military have both given up and joined the protesters.
The only ones trying to stop the protests are Mubarak's personal security force and they can't stand for long.
They will eventually overtake the Presidential palace/government buildings and oust the President by force, if necessary.

Yes, let's continue to support dictators when one of the reasons for going to war was to oust a dictator and spread democracy.

Mubarak has been in power for as long as I can remember. This is scary, scary ass stuff. What's even more terrifying is that there is a bill in Congress right now that would give our government the same ability to shut down the Internet that Egypt has done. I really hope it doesn't pass.

Mubarak has been in power since Reagan, back in 1981. As funny as it may sound, Al Franken is a champion for open and free internet. I hope he stands up and takes on the kill switch. Omar Suleiman will be the next President of Egypt. Mubarak has appointed him to be the Vice President, the first VP since Mubarak took over.

That was amazing.
Loved the JFK quote.
People are waking up. You start treating them like crap, well you've got another thing coming.

This administration might not use it. The next one might not use it either. That doesn't say it won't be used 20-30 years down the road.

Yo, Egypt. I'm really happy for you, and I'ma let you finish, but the French had one of the best revolutions of all time. Of ALL TIME!

Wow. This is what the world needs, the people need to take the power back. Citizens worldwide - in Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Cuba, and even America - have been oppressed for way too long, and things like this show that there is still a little shimmer of hope for the everyday citizen. I know that I would never partake in a draft if it was called upon, but I would be damn glad to serve side by side with the protesters of the Egyptian Revolution.
