I was at my local wal-mart and for the first time stumbled upon some elite figures, I was going to get one , I reached out for it, But then saw a $19.99 price tag.
Is this the Common Price in Canada for the Elite Series figures?
Or was this alittle Pricey?
Let me Know.
Thanks in Advance

They're $19.99 at wal-mart and zellers, but I just end up buying my figures at the flea market. They have a better selection.

Everything is more expensive in Australia.
But WWE figures are still more expensive here in Canada than they are in the US. That, combined with the fact that we don't even get full waves of Elites up here really blows. I had to start driving down to Bellingam, Washington to get my figures at places like Target and Walmart where even after the exchange rate, I'm still saving quite a bit of money.

Anyway, why are they so over priced? Well the retail stores that sell them here in Canada have to apply their own markup in order to make a profit, but that still doesn't fully explain the huge difference in price compared to what Americans pay for their Mattel figures. Even when CS figures were around, I remember paying $14.99 for those, and maybe $12.99 for a PPV series figure. In the US, I could get CS figures for $12.99 each, and "basic" figures for $9.99 each. Mattel also has their own MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) which is the base price in which retailers should sell their product for. Also the prices Mattel sets for their figures may be higher due to the extra work they put into their figures. In the end, I still don't have an answer.

I directed that at everyone else that complains and whines about the price. No Idea why they are so pricey, but it might be the reason that 1 dollar equals up to about 90 cents in american dollars, so if you do the math there can be a major change in prices the more higher the price. like, say you bought something for 200 american dollars, in aussie dollars that could be equaled to around 250-300 dollars. I hate that rule.
