Just got my EG MDM from amazon. Free shipping. Love the fig BUT a little disappointed with the belt. It's too small. Reminds me of my Hasbro belt. What do you guys think of the jakks belt?

Just got mine today too and thought the same thing. I will say the one thing that is an improvement over Jakks is the snap on the back as opposed to the zip style. But yeah it is very reminiscent of Hasbros.

Nope mattel got it right. The belt is actually quite small, its not an overly large belt. The 'straps' are quite short (in height) and the main plate isnt overly big. The mattel one is definitely right, take a look (and if anything this pic below makes the belt look bigger than it is yet its still too small for the jakks one to look correct)

I think the scale of the Mattel belt is perfect. I just wish it had another notch to make it tighter when he's not wearing the suit.

In real life, he hardly ever wore it around his waist without the suit on, did he? I'm looking on Youtube now for jobber matches to see if he wore the belt after winning. Found one where he wore the suit for the entire squash! I started watching wrestling shortly after this match (which was build-up to WM7), was it a common thing for him to wear the suit in matches with jobbers? McMahon and Piper didn't mention it being strange on commentary.

I don't remember him ever wearing it without the suit on after a match. But I was thinking more on the lines of because I have 2 EG DiBiase figures. So I'll probably be displaying one in ring attire and thought I could put the extra belt either on a Legends Austin or one of DiBiase jr. figures but it slides down their hips because it's so loose. I'll have to tighten it with one of those clear rubber bands or a twisty tie if I want to do that. That's why I was thinking an extra notch would have been nice.

Maybe you could use a piece of double-sided tape to help tighten up the belt.

I thought the EG belt was a tad small. I do wish that the EG belt had another notch cause I wanted to use it for Ted Jr. I put the Jakks version on EG Dibiase and put the EG belt in Ted Jr's hands.

Yeah the Million Dollar Title is quite small, and I think from the way mattel's looks, It appears more realistic
