I received mine today and it's decent. What I don't like is like you said, it's a bit big. I'm also not too happy with the mat color. The part of the ringskirt on mine also snapped off so that pissed me off as the aprons are ruined now, but I might try to fix it. Overall, it's decent but somewhat too big. It'll probably grow on me though.

Has anyone posted sample pics of Mattel figures in the ESR? This is the EXACT reason I hated the RSR from Jakks and am VERY skeptic to purchase this one. They keep talking about doing it within scale, but each company has seemingly failed. I cant recall the last time WWE actually used a 20X20 ring.

Yeah bro, the turnbuckles were annoying. Like I said before my ringskirt snapped on one end, but I figured out a way to fix it and now my ring is fully set up. I just messed around with it and it's amazing. I can't wait to do a few real matches in it.

This is interesting, my best friend got his and loves it and but kept saying it was so big but not really complaining about it. I just ordered the ESR of Amazon and I'm really looking forward to getting it. I honestly look at the RSR as a TNA sized ring and the ESR as the WWE size but only in theory so I don't need to be attacked for my thoughts. only thing I feel is gonna be a problem is that my RSR is set on an end table that's the perfect squared size of the RSR so it makes me wonder how weird the ESR is gonna look on it and I feel weird with the idea of putting away the RSR. I'll have to see.

For me, The ring looks a TAD bit big, but Its a plus for us. More figures in the ring. : )

Its just 1 inch bigger then the RSR so i dont reeally see what the big deal is. Jakks figures were bigger/bulkier overall figures and therefore were more fitting in a big ring like the RSR. Mattel figures are more slim so when they're in a ring the size of the ESR (which is surprisingly bigger) the ring looks huge.

I guess I'd rather have it to big, rather than to small

Isn't it the bigger the better because more figures will fit inside it? That's what it is like for me anyway.

Just like the chicken or the egg debate, there is always a thread somewhere comparing the bigness of the real scale ring with the smallness of the basic ring.
Think some genius at Jakks or Mattel (for each's respective line of toys) will have the clever idea of giving us a mid-scale ring? Closest thing we got is the famous Hardcore Ring that many, many on this board (including me) still consider one of the greatest rings ever done.

I like the size of the ring , the bigger for me the better).Turnbuckle covers fall off at random times ,I dislike that. The way the go on is difficult but it is a nifty little feature. I just hate that my ring skirting broke the same as JCF but my wife is re stitching the whole thing now since they dont have any replacement parts it will be better than before..

yeah it is pretty big. I had to take down my big arena for my fig fed because i have the WM RSR, the Real Scale UFC Octagon, the TNA Six Sides Of Steel and the ESR. when I play with my figures in the ESR sometimes, i don't bother to use a ref because I'll be having a match and i'll keep forgetting to move the ref around so the ref will just get his ass kicked a lot ;D
anywho, I like it and just think now you can have 40 man battle royals if you want like some companies did in the old days

Hardcore ring is about the only thing I will use considering it was mostly in scale vs. the ones that claim to be in scale. I cant believe that the ESR is is 1" bigger than the RSR when the figures are 2" shorter and a hell of a lot slimmer. The RSR was too big for the bigger Jakks figure, so making the ESR even bigger made ZERO SENSE!
