I haven't made a post in awhile, so I figured I'd share my latest gets as of yesterday.
First off, BIG thanks to Ringside Collectibles. I won a 1/1000 Batista on Ebay from them for a great deal, and it was shipped fast & packed with care. I'm VERY happy. Brings my total to 8 1/1000's.

Next I stopped in at a Walmart near my work and saw they had stocked Elite Series 5! They had all but Rey. I've been waiting to get the Ziggler & Henry more than any others from that set so I picked them up. I might go back today and pick up the rest.
Now enough chatter...Onto the pics!
Elite Series 5- Mark Henry
What an amazing figure! Mattel really did a good job with this one. A completely new Elite mold, a great scan, and a cool accessory. Easily one of the best figures of "The Worlds Strongest Jobber" ever. I will never understand why the WWE is treating Henry so poor lately
Loose front shot
No this is not a bottle of Coca-Cola Classic...it's the Mark Henry Elite.
Back
Even though I believe the "WSM" is a little wrong (the "M" is not on his arse in real life, it's more on his lower back) it's still very large and detailed, and I'm not talking about Henry's biceps.
Scan
This one captures the "smiling monster" look. Nothing says intimidation like a bright toothed smile! This particular scan is dead-on and one of Mattel's best works.
Weights
In case you were wondering...the weight pieces are all one. But they event went to greater detail on the sides. If they were real, they would be 450 lbs each for a total of 900lbs plus the bar!
Stand
Mattel did something different with Henry...they packaged his stand behind the figure in the cardboard & the nametag under the stand. There was a piece of tape over the back holding it in place but I was afraid it was going to pull off the "paint" on the nametag...fortunately it did not.
Next up...
Elite Series 5- Dolph Ziggler
(in tune) He is per-FEC-tion!!
Again, another amazing figure by Mattel. The details are perfect, the scan is great. Just awesome all around.
Details Pt1.
Wrist & hand cheetahs are "perfect", DZ on his shorts looks great.
Da Boots
Boots are painted accurate and the two-tone looks nice
Back
The vest is very thin. The shiny material looks authentic. The DZ logo is amazing.
YOUR Perfect IC Champ!
Comparisons
Thought I would do a couple of quick comparisons with Basic 4 & Elite 5.
I was actually surprised that they were the same height. I always pictured Elites being a little taller, I don't know why. The Elite is obviously far superior in just about every way.
Scans
Both scans are in fact different. The heads are sculpted different, the expressions are different. Everything.
Thanks for checking out the pics. Comments always welcomed.
