Just curious, is there any BCAs that are rare? I remember buying the Survivor Series set (I think that's what it was) years back. It had Warrior, Michaels, Golddust and someone else. I can't recall who it was. But the person I bought it from claimed it was very rare. I was clueless.
I didn't think any BCAs were worth much money wise.

Jesus, tons of variants. that's sweet though.
And BCAs aren't worth much money, like they never fetch anything that LJN or Hasbro do, but some are a bit rarer than others. I'm sure the backlash series is regarded as rarer than the rest of the line as well as the razor/diesel puzzle zoo 2pk

I did keep a few though, hhh blue card, kane green card, edge blue card (signed) & billy gunn green card (signed) & both al snows (signed). i think thats the card colors, i could be mistaken as im not home to look

They aren't, but it's easy for someone like your previous self to get roped in by a dealer for more money. Then there are those willing to drop $50+ on a boxed set without thinking twice about it because they don't care if they're being ripped off as long as they get what they want. It happens all the time and there's only one way to prevent it from happening to you: ask here first. But seriously, I just saw where someone bought a lot of 14 MIB The Rock ToyFare Exclusives (limited to 10,000) on eBay for $85 shipped. The first two thoughts that popped into my head when I saw the listing were "Oh, that's a lot of Rock figures" and "I sure hope that person doesn't plan on making back $6 for each figure." The sad part is that they probably will make a profit, and they'll be none the wiser for it.

This was around the time RAs were making some cool figures (Shannon Moore, Jindrak, Kennedy ect...) but my mom was like "you should get it!" The guy I bought it off of was a good friend who owned a booth at a flea market. Of coarse to him everything is rare or hard to find. He cut me some awesome deals but I wasn't wanting to drop $60 for the set. Finally I did just for the Warrior. I thought it was a pretty neat BCA.

Amazing. This... kind of makes me want to create a poll to determine once and for all the worst of the worst BCA head sculpts. Any nominees? Before anyone tries to steal my thunder, I've got this guy.

I just got back into wrestling figures after rediscovering my LJNs at my aunt's house (my childhood Macho Man is my avatar). This prompted me to dig out my BCAs. Man, I loved the BCA Undertaker. I remember being blown away by the detail on his tattoos.
You can slowly see the likenesses getting better too. I had both the debut Mankind and the later White Shirt one with the removable mask.
I quit collecting Jakks long before Titan Tron, and Real Scan.
But not before I bought Al Snow. Still have him. I remember the controversy surrounding that figure.

Good lord that is an ugly sculpt

Found these as I was going through some old stuff today. Really cool throwback. King of the Iron Rungs, Superstars 1, and Superstars 2 Bret Hart figures. I have the Slammers one also (same as the middle one, with the lever gimmick). I also have a Hunter Hearst-Helmsley with a vest and ponytail (Superstars Series 4 I believe), a DX HHH with dark metallic green tights and a vest with his hair down (not sure on this one - he's the same as the Fully Loaded figure with different attire, from what I can tell). There was also a Steve Austin, and the Managers Bob Backlund. Was a really interesting thing checking these guys out again, and remembering the wars I had as a kid.

How many BCA figures had a lever on their back? I'm just going to list all of the Slammers style figures that were made, beginning with the two most obvious series. Slammers Series 1Undertaker Goldust Steve Austin Bret Hart Mankind Faarooq Slammers Series 2Brian Pillman Kane Dude Love Patriot Shawn Michaels Taka Other Singles SeriesDude Love from Best of '98 Series 2 [Toysrus Exclusive] Kane and Dude Love from DTA Tour Series 1 [Walmart Exclusive] "Showstopper" Shawn Michaels from Shotgun Saturday Night Series 2 Dude Love, Kane and Shawn Michaels from Signature Series 2 Other Double PacksUndertaker and Kane, as well as Taka [but not Brian Christopher] from their respective Grudge Match Series 2-Packs Other Boxed SetsShawn Michaels from Attitude 4-Pack [Kmart Exclusive] Kane from Badd Blood 4-Pack [Canada Walmart/USA Target Exclusive] Dude Love from Go Mental 4-Pack [Sam's Club Exclusive] Mankind and Dude Love from Mick Foley's Triple Threat/Faces of Foley 3-Pack [KB Toys Exclusive] Kane from No Holds Barred 3-Pack [KB Toys Exclusive] Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels from Raw Is War Monster Ring Gift Set [Sears Wishbook Exclusive] Kane and Shawn Michaels from Shotgun Saturday Night 4-Pack [Sam's Club Exclusive] Shawn Michaels, Mankind, Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin from Slammers Autographed Collection 4-Pack [JCPenney Exclusive] Steve Austin from Special Collection Stone Cold 3-Pack [Hills Exclusive] Kane, Undertaker, Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels from Ultimate Collection 4-Pack [JCPenney Exclusive] = 41I didn't count the Backlash Series figures because, even though Series 2 Shawn Michaels and Series 4 Edge borrow molds from Slammers Series 2 [HBK repaint and Patriot body for Edge], the action features/levers were removed from those figures.

DX HHH sounds like Signature Series 3. Not the same material used for the WM Helmsley figure's vest either.

Not the same material used for the WM Helmsley figure's vest either. That's definitely the DX HHH I mentioned, rubber vest and all. The Helmsley is different than the WMXIV version though, I'm guessing someone just added a plain vest to a Superstars Hunter figure. I'll have to take another look at him to see for sure, though.

Has anyone ever fixed up their BCA Razor and put the head/arms/lower body on a different torso? Always wondered what it'd look like in ring gear without the vest! Any ideas what body might be right for that? Here you are. Sorry it took so long. Its not the best bca custom I've done. I used the Sid torso originally, but it looked really weird for some reason. Chicago you might enjoy this... So I was working on some Mattel HBK fix ups, and I was needing a set of the black boots to go on my Network Spotlight HBK to make a quick and easy 96 era fix up. I used the boots from the WMania 14 HBK figure (WMania 30 Elite) and just added the white boots from the Network Shawn to that figure so I could keep up with them. When I put them on there, I was really liking the look of it and couldn't understand why. Then it hit me.....I had made an unintentional BCA throw back

They're not mine, but I would highly recommend them. I've seen dozens throughout the years. It depends on how heavily influenced you are by post-BCA era figures. Do you want to use only original BCA parts? Because if you use TTL or New BCA parts, you will have infinitely more options.

Clearly, Jakks and Mattel produced superior WrestleMania XIV-based Shawn Michaels figures in the years since, but I love the BCA take on it in DTA Tour Series 1/Best of '98 Series 1. As for Razor, I think you made the right choice. That's the Off The Mat Austin torso, correct? Would you ever consider repainting Razor into his SummerSlam 1995 attire? A corrected Superstars Series 1 HBK with a repainted ring gear Razor would make for a hell of a custom BCA 2-pack.
