Not a fan of new head scans

Is there anyone else who isn't very happy with the new Finlay and Morrison scans? Finlay looks like he is either taking a dump or like a cheap terminator rubber mask, and Morrison his face just looks crooked with his smile it only looks good while he is wearing the sunglasses.

I can live with some of the old scan but some new ones are good if you ask me. Big Show's elite head goes with the attire and Hardy looks much better with his hair down than the one with the massive widows peak.

I wasn't a big fan of the Jakks figs with the screaming mouth or tongue hanging out cause its not how they look when they wrestle.

Overall I love the Mattel figs but I don't want them to start making crappy faces for their great figs.

I agree partially. I hate the finlay scan on elite 4 but I wouldnt be buying it anyways...

I do like the Morrison one, Im not saying its great but I like it more than the basic one that looks cavemanish to me. Part of the face does look odd but I think in person it will look A little better like some end up doing.

I really hope they dont end up doing screaming mouths or tongues out but I really doubt they will anyways.

I'm A big fan of the new Kofi, Big Show, Kane and all of the Legends though.

I fully agree on the new Finlay and Morrison scans being bad. I plan on buying them and putting the Basic heads on there instead.

While I do agree partially about Morrison, and FULLY with Finlay to the OP, I had to say that I too am VERY happy with Kofi's new scan.

Some of Mattel really is hit or miss on their faces, but they've been knocking a few people out of the park lately. I'm still impressed with Ziggler's Basic 4 figure... my biggest disappointment face-wise is Tyson Kidd. I'd have bought the two pack if it was better.

I disagree. Mattel's head scans are becoming way better. They're a lot more realistic than the previous ones.

i think the newer scans have more expressions which imo makes them look like jakks ones. alought i think its the same company who scan the wrestlers anyway.

I hope at some point they bring out a cm punk scan where he doesnt have a horrible smirk. the rr punk scan looks exactly like the crappy jakks ones.

I like Finlay with the menacing snarl. His expressions matches the Road Warrior jacket he's wearing. Jericho with the evil smile is growing on me.

Both Hardy scans are pretty bad. They're nowhere close to Jakks' RA scan with the slicked back hair which is Matt's best head sculpt IMO.

The heads are way better than they used to be. Most of the heads in the first two series were godawful. I hate both of the Mattel Morrison heads, but I am going to switch it with the Jakks head when I get the Elite (whenever the hell it shows up here). Yes, some of the heads are bad, but many of the recent heads have been great, like Sheltons, Jericho 3, Khali, Ziggler.

Well Kofi & Kane's new scans are both outstanding. And I like the Morrison elite scan better also. I plan to put all three on the basic bodies. But I agree with Finlay's. It okay, but if I would get it I'll just put the basic head on the elite body.

The fact that six months in and we are already comparing the 1st & 2nd scans is fantastic. Jakks made us wait years for a new scan.
