I'm not a huge DA fan so I'm disappointed, but I'm sure some fans are ecstatic.

Personally Im not a big fan of them.
Here are my criticisms:
They're all in crappy DA figure styling. It should have been new company, new lines, NEW MOLDS! NONE OF THIS RI DI BS.
Sting Not having molded knee and thigh pads or at least accurately painted knee and thigh pads.
Nash and AJ are the same height.
Aj's face scan sucks
A Samoa Joe repaint was included in the first wave of figures.
Jarrett's face scan sucks.
Suicide is wearing a shirt.
Angle hasn't worn that attire since the MEM was around.
Jakks can't spell Roode twice.
Not everything about the line is terrible though. Here are the things I like about them:
Steiner is amaizing.
Nash is pretty decent too.
Samoa Joes face scan looks good.
Stings Face scan is very good.
Jarrett's attire is spot on.
Suicide has a great mask.

I'm a Mattel fan now so I MAY buy some TNA figs for the head and put it on a mattel body so its in scale and just customize it to my hearts content.
But Jakks just did a half@$$ job with these figs Toy Biz/Marvel Toys put out a better product from what I have seen so far.

I do have to say this is probably one of the best Deluxe Agression/Impact Series if not the Best.... But with Mattel's Product, I think we were all expecting more.

Well you can do it, but the heads will be way too large for a Mattel body. Although on the back of the card they show two "Havock Unleashed" styled figures who's heads should be scaled smaller and should work on Mattel's bodies

I only have Deluxe Impact Series 1 and I love them. The Samoa Joe is one of my favorite figures. It is spot on. I know a lot of people don't like Deluxe, but I do, so I don't know if that's why I enjoy them more or what. But, either way, they are great figures and if you have the money, you should pick them up.

Another thing that jakks screwed up on is the lack of accessories for the new TNA line, mattel is putting out shirts and coats for their elite/deluxe figs. But then again I am willing to bet that jakks will see the error of their ways and start packing tables, ladders, chairs, and way more breakable benches than needed.

If you like DA style, you will like them. There is a RA line (besides Legends), but it has its flaws. That and I have no idea when it's coming out or who will be selling it.

Jakks TNA figures are much better than toybiz figures. i have 2 toybiz figures. Monty Brown and Christopher Daniels and Brown is broken they are made very poor plastic.
I havnt seen any Jakks figures personaly but im pretty sure if you like DA style and you like TNA so you will like them. of course they have flaws too and headscans are not good as mattel line

There is not much, or no new tooling at all. This drastically cuts down on expenses for a toy line. Since they went the cheap route, and used previous designs, and no accessories, they could have come up with a new body type or 2 at some attempt at scale.

Can anyone let me know if the DI Samoa Joe is compatable with the new Mattel figures. Joe is the only one I'm interested in, but I don't want him if he wont fit in with my other Mattels.
Thanks.

Joe is billed at 6'2" and most DA figs all had the same body which is about the same height the Mattel Undertaker and Taker is billed at 6'10.5". I haven't seen Joe to size him up to anyone but I would assume he is the same height as the old Jakks DA figs given they just reused the same parts for TNA. This is just a guess, so don't take this a solid answer.

The new figures aren't the worst....if you've purchased from jakks in the past, then expect the same things. There's good figures, then some not so good figures. I own Suicide and I like his scan a lot and the parts used worked the best they could minus his kickpads. I'll pick up one or two every now and then but I won't pour as much money into it as mattel
