With all the talk about prototypes in recent threads I came across this pic claiming to be a Prototype of the very rare GIJOE SGT Slaughter Mail-away.
Anyone know anything about it???

never seen this before, if its made of resin, urethaine, then id believe, if not it could be another fake! damn fakes.
I remember this trouble happening to the vintage starwars line with the 'blue harvest'!!!!

It would be very easy for someone to cast one of these out of the standard figure. I can't understand why they wouldn't paint this though if it was a prototype.
Not sure why they would make a test shot for this as it didn't articulate or wasn't packaged. It could possibly be an unpainted model but as mentioned in previous posts the value of these is negligible compared to the standard figures as someone could quite easily strip the paint (probably easier on a ljn).
One thing that would be interesting is if it has the white spots on the arms like the other slaughters have.

I was hoping for some more info on this one, the LJN version that was never produced. I really wish someone would have bought this mold and cast some of these. I wonder what happened to this mold? Did anyone here win it?

Hi wonderwallmatt, you didn't get that HHH prototype from the same person that sold you the Dusty, did you? I'm afraid to say that it really looks like a retail version with the paint stripped off.
