I vividly remember in the early to mid 90s that the guys who made the Corps figures had a line of wrestling figures. They were all generic figures sold in 2 and 6 packs. They had that cool GI Joe style body and came with belts, chairs, bats, and chains...Ive been trying to find some on the net,but it's like looking througha haystack. Anyone else ever see these?

I know they were made by lanard toys if that helps.

this:?? That's indeed the Corps, however he's referring to generic wrestlers in that style (not with guns, but with belts, chains, ...)

I'd be very interested in these, too. I've even bought some The Corps figures for my eventual planned BnB setup before.

I'd also like to know more, I use classic GI Joe and Lanard figures to make custom wrestling figures so this is very interesting.

My mother bought me a figure from a second-hand shop the other day that's about the same size as Corps figures. It's a guy with long brown hair and a beard in purple trunks with kind of shiny teal boots. The leg articulation is different though, it's just straight backwards and forwards, same with the arms (akin to the WWE Havoc Unleashed/BCA articulation).
It has two pretty large screws (considering the size of the figure) in the back, and no company logo. Just a "MADE IN CHINA" on the tights. I didn't bring it home with me so I don't have any pictures - maybe when I go back to my mother's house I can take one. I'm assuming it's some kind of bootleg but I wish I could find others like it because it's pretty cool.

Th name of the line eludes me now but they are expensive when listed correctly. The 3.75 collectors are always looking for them , the Pirates and a few of the other lines . They are pretty tough to come across without having to buy a bunch of other CORPS or Joes . They came 3 or 4 to a card , I'll ask my buddy that collects the knock off 3.75 lines and he'll know the name.
