Absolutely not: We saw the long awaited Legends Line which looks utterly awesome and we saw basic 3 and elite 3, which also look great. This can only mean that more of the same will follow which is splendid news! Besides it's only February FFS, still very early on, I think we saw a great deal, all impressive

Eh, it was okay.
Series 3 of Basic looks good, we've just seen it already. Legends are hit and miss IMO. I love the Road Warriors, Steamboat (holy hell thank you Mattel), and few others. Snuka looks like a comic book character or something and I don't care for how skinny some of them are, but from my experience Mattel looks better in person, so we'll see. I love the Legends carding and moments on the back. I was mainly hoping to see a scaled ring and Series 4 of the 2-packs since Series 3 is already arriving.
I think the crazy good Toyfairs Jakks used to pull off are in the past. Nothing will top that one Fall Toyfair with the RSR reveal alongside surprise CS 2-packs that showed up within a week at retail. I fondly remember the ones they had during the TTL days with Rulers of the Ring and a ton of random stuff, some of which never saw the light of day. I guess them going overboard spoiled me a bit.
It was a good showing though.

No first and foremost I finally saw the rumored EG Piper. Plus we saw the first 2 sets of Legends.

I agree, but at least they are in scale. I'll still get them.

I'm more interested in Mattel's legends series so they didn't disappoint.

If you're like me and not that interested in the Legends line, then it was a huge disappointment, but I'm happy for everyone who wanted Legends, because they're getting some GREAT figures.

Was hoping to at least see figures of newer guys like Yoshi Tatsu, Ezekiel and Sheamus (freaking WWE champ!), more divas, accessories, something. The classics are kind of odd because to me it depends on how deep they're willing to go, and how broad the pool of stars is. If they match the depth of Classic Superstars they'll be great, but if not it looks like just a random collection of b-list 80's characters.
How sad is it that we'll finally get a Steamboat figure, and not a Ric Flair?

Somewhat- I'm happy the Legends line is being done well but i'm only looking for a select few guys. Flex force figs look nice but not for me. FF MITB is weird and not for me.
So all i've really got out of Toy Fair is a awesome Stone Cold & I-C kids belt. :/

I was definately not let down. I ended up being thrilled with the legends stuff. The only thing that I really thought we would see,but didn't,was figure belts. That isn't enough for me to be disappointed with the event though.

Not really, but I wanted to see newer stuff. All we saw that was new was the Legends and the Entrance Greats, but they dominated the news.

For me somewhat. It showed a couple new things but I wanted to see basic 4-5 but I guess we have to wait longer.

Depends what you wanted to take from it, I guess IMO it wasn't a letdown, but nothing outstanding...

No. From someone who hates Mattel, and likes JAKKS. This toyfair has made me eat my words. Jakks showed nothing new, and Mattel blew minds with Steamboat's first fig, and The Road Warriors. WOW. With these figs alone, I think Mattel will ruin JAKKS. Thats saying alot cause im a TNA diehard.
