All, back in around 94, i purchased wwf hasbro royal rumble mini ring w/ 18 diff figures from a vendor at a flea market. My bro and I were hard core into collecting hasbos (as we are to this day) Which is why i bought the ring w/ figs out of princilple. The ring is in great shape, as well as the figures. Some have the wieghts on them that came w/ the ring as well. the ring did not come w/ the pieces that launch the figs however. Thing is, i havent seen too many of these up for sale on ebay over the years, and im wondering if this peice (ring) is rare or just not frequently sold due to lack of interest? Any inforamtion on the colectibility of the ring would be greatly appreciated!

Were there just fewer of these made or did they just not sell? I also saw the figures were sold spearately, but it does not appear all of them were carded. Did some not just come with the ring and others assumably later on cards?

Hogan, Jake, Macho Man, Bossman, M$M and Slaughter came with the ring and weighted bottoms, the others came in packs of 4 carded without weights. these can be picked up pretty cheap on eBay.

Around 2000 were made...I heard that Hasbro was very disappointed with the quality of the product and scrapped it, making it only available for a short period of time.

I remember when I got mine as a kid, there was a bunch of them hanging around my local Hill's for the longest time.
Where's a time machine when you need one?

And then we would run over to J. C. Penney's for their ring.

I always thought it was interesting that Savage was the only figure to get a repaint for the mini line. Would've been nice if Savage #3 in the regular line had that paint job at least instead of what we got.

There was a collection of mini figures last week om eBay, including everything but one of the figures that originally came with the ring. The figures along went for $53 USD - I'm sure the ring plus the figures would go for at least $100+.

True. Thing is, most corporations back in the 80's and early 90's such as hasbro, mattel, kenner, and even playmates to some extent notoriously recycled different peices from their toy lines and even other toylines i.e. kenner using starwars vehicles and playsets to supplement Hook toy line, and almost every heman fig has same bottom torso..etc, etc. Hell all hasbro had to do w/ undertaker was slightly change his hair color 3 times and hive him a jacket and 15 years later we are paying $crap loads of money for em'. its too bad cost savings, profit, and any other marketing jargon i can come up with seemed to hit wwf hasbro the hardest, limiting this toy line -as awesome as it is- to much less than what it could have potentially become
