Did anyone ever come across Bootleg LJN figs? And if so do you own any or have pics? There was a bootleg-line in the late '80s called "Wrestling Champs", they used the MOTU/Remco bodystyles but were definitely copying LJN figurewise and graphicwise. The series had: Andre, Hogan, Sheik, Studd and 2 others. My bootleg Hogan and Studd (I had Studd falsely identified as Hercules before, and yes that's my real name on the pic) example of the packaging and showing the difference of my original Hogan and a later one where they used a different head without moustache.

I have seen lots of the Hogan, Studd, and Sheik ones, but never Andre.
Does anyone have a picture of it?

I think I had all of these except for mustache Hogan. Never really though of the one in white trunks being Studd until now but it makes sense and they were all in LJN's first series.
Was there any kind of date info on these? The choice of wrestlers and designs is strange for the late '80s-early '90s.
I don't remember what the packaging looked like, but I had a bunch of the MOTU-ish generic line that included a masked wrestler (mask design similar to The Destroyer) and a wrestler with Vulcan ears. Every figure had a bunch of color variations and it was easy to snap the limbs on and off. I can't remember if it had a fake Hogan but it probably did since most lines seemed to back then. There was a listing of the different figures on the back of the card with "Collect the whole range" at the top.

God they were sad! Thanks for the info though:) Well, maybe I'm biased because that Hogan and Studd were my first wrestling figs in 1989 or so, but I thought they were great: moveable head, arms and waist. I did a lot of bodyslamming, powerslamming and backdropping with them. I bought my first real LJNs in 1997 (from dutch member Peter Schaar): Hogan 1, Savage and Okerlund. While they looked awesome, I was frankly dissapointed that they were just chunks of rubber.

I have about a dozen of the Hogan with a mustache, but instead of "Wrestling champs", they are on cards called "Super Champs". The background on the card is the same as the one with the non-mustached Hogan, but it is black at the top and gray/lt brown at the bottom.
