Received a Macho # 4 in the mail (right). Bought it because it didn't have the "Oh Yeah!" on the lapel. This 'error' might be a fake as it could be rubbed off. Noticed something else though.... it had more differences to the one I already had (left). Left: * pink tights * light brown hair * neon yellow / dull green cowboyhat Right: * purple-ish tights * darker brown hair * bright yellow / bright green cowboyhat I hope it can been seen from the picture. It more clear in person than in the picture. Has anyone noticed this before? I hadn't.

I think hasbromaster (dennis) showed these differences before.

To be more clear: my question is not about the "Oh yeah", but about the differences in colours.

i have a similar query about the robed sting, was there a variant without the scorpion on the leg. I have seen this on a number of occasions but wondered if it had just rubbed off

Yes, the color is really different so it's a variant...at least it's what I think

OH YEAH! This figure is simply an error figure, much like Kamala with half beard, Akeem with half Beard, etc.

I suppose it depends what you classify as a variant. These slight colour changes aren't intentional variants but more like paint inconsistencies. Intentional variants are the Kamala moon, bret with black pads etc.

I was always told it was an error/varient, much like the Rude variations, or the dusty with yellow boots. Sorry, wanted to clear that up. I am of course, KING PHAIL, you know.

I had a carded Savage Cowboy a couple years back;forgot who bought it from me. It had different shades of paint as Stomwijf mentioned. We keep finding more figures with different colored plastics. We may have to start a thread and tally of who has what figure with what paint job. Sadly most of these examples are loose. If carded, then we could put some legitimacy to them.
