Here's a copy of the ad from back in 1995. If anyone saved the original pic, please repost, thanks!

I used to purchase from a collector around my area at toy shows back in the mid-late 90s and he had a floppy disk of WWF vendor catalog scans that I guess he got at his store for promotional purposes. He had all the common adverts for WWF Hasbro products dating back to around 1991 but this one and another one with the Green Card series stood out to me more than the others. This one was obviously a point offer and my guess is that WWF had some offer for smaller reseller stores for mail aways, but I'm not positive about this. The other ad he had was just a typical advert but at the bottom it said 'New series arriving in Winter 1994'. It struck me as odd because it didn't sound like they were talking about the Green cards...as if it were going to be the mysterious Orange Card series. I really wish I had his contact information because he had a lot of good info on the line of figures and tons of promo stuff received from Hasbro. Anyways, hopefully clears things up a bit.

Maniac...didn't you mention you worked in a store that sold WWF Hasbro figures while they were being produced? Can you confirm that WWF or Hasbro they sent out vendor catalogs to smaller action figure businesses?

I did work in a collectibles store during the color coded run. Our store had to request a Hasbro catalog yearly and needed a minumum order placed in order to get the figures. I think it was around $300-$400.00 at the time. I never saw anything special except the basic catalog and the price sheets inside.

wish I would have seen this.. I had like 100+ of those points and would have loved a free figure, even if I already had a Shawn Michaels & Razor Ramon
