i like it, its cool, reminds me of poppa smurf. But.....i wonder what happens when you put a honky head in a glass of paint thinner for a day or two? Ive tried boiling the legs of a "somewhat" yellow boots dusty rhodes to see if i could accelerate the oxidation/deterioration process, but, it DOES NOT work. which adds to the Mystery of the Dusty Yellow boots even more! Im going to try this hasbro head in paint thinner stuff in a couple of days. BK

BK There is a process using 35% peroxide for whitening plastics that I have been using on Gi Joe and Transformer parts that I was gonna give a whirl but I sold all my yellow boot Dustys . The store bought peroxide with the boots in it with some good light to accelerate it may help too. I'll look for the link . Sometimes the thinner will soften the plastic and marrr the surface of the paint not that an extra Honkey Tonk is tough to come by .

i do not condone any of this 'paint thinning' stuff, it will totally ruin the hobby.

I'm saying that if BK is gonna try to strip a head that an extra Honkey Tonk wont be hard to come by to experiment on , thats all . I said the same thing about the Kamala I had seen them for some time but I like the ones that are more than a few colors or at least not so close to the factory run molded colors . I'm no snob with this stuff I love it , its just my own preference and I'm weary with people now a days being so good with customs , molding and being deceitful . He;s a sweet piece it was always just odd that for a one of a kind sculpt that they cast him and Kamala in their run colors. Maybe Badger can help us out.

I agree but it has now tempted me to try it out on a few older figures so I can see if it is realistic that it could be done and then disguised as a prototype. would make me a lot more cautious

Great figure..And im with Ichiban on all this paint thinner talk! Also agree with Meatybat, i prefer the multi-colour Test shots, not that i would say no to this one My favourite i have seen has to be Stoms Multi colour Hulk Hogan, closely followed By papa and Repo..Then i think this one. Great buy.
