Only the bootleg Diesel head could qualify as "unused Hasbro-head"... I would definately agree with that. Diesel is the only one which could be even minutely possible as a Hasbro head. It is probably worth remembering this.... The Hasbro Line ended in 1994. Giant Gonzales had a figure produced in 1994, and he actually left the WWF in Summer 1993, so that is how far behind they ran with the line. Yet by 1994 Diesel was still just Shawn's bodygaurd, and hadn't even received his first push, which occured at the Royal Rumble. Diesel would have been an odd choice for a figure at the start of 1994, as he had only been in the company for 4 months, and had yet to achieve anything in the ring.

I see all ya points with the heads, The diesel one looks killer, and hasbro like. But yeah guess the others dont really hold up. Why is the diesel figure one of the muched talked about orange carder though if he was a unlikely choice for a fig surely there must be some truth in it ?

Sorry about my pic being deleted of the Mannix guys was organizing my photobucket and moved it as I did with the others . I find these in UK and some great ones in Germany and Netherlands all the time. Would gladly trade Hasbros , Jakks and whatever else for the different paint schemes or other lines they do in these.

a lot of people deny the fact that the mannix diesel was an actual Hasbro head. I on the other hand will fight to the day i die believing that it is the Diesel head. The likeness is AMAZING Sure the other heads look intellectually- disabled, but maybe hasbro altered the molds of the heads they actually used (hogan, hbk, luger, razor, bomb) because they didn't want 100% likenesses of their products associated with the Mannix line. i dont know....maybe we'll never know....OR MAYBE WE WILL.....(HINT HINT) BK

Obviously Mannix would want their figures to look as close as possible to the real life characters without breaking any copyrights, as then the kids are more likely to buy them. I would love to know what this big secret you have is hehe

Those generics pop up in Dollar Trees, Dollar Stores and Big Lots quite often. I know I used to have a lot of them.

I'm after a Mannix Diesel if anyone has one in the UK? Same. I remember back in 2000, when I started collecting Hasbro, i'd always see the Hall, Hogan, Luger and Diesel at Car Boot Sales and always pass them up as cheap bootlegs. Haven't seen them again untill I visited this thread. I honestly believe there is some truth to that being a real Diesel head so I want it now.

I'm pretty sure I saw these sets in newsagents or corner shops in the little toy sections around 2000. I distinctly remember seeing a Razor Ramon anyway. Unfortunately I wasnt interested in Hasbros anymore at this point and had only just sold my 70 figure collection the year before (for a measly £35) so I didnt think much of it. Has anyone got better images of the "Michaels" head? Im not sure about the whole thing, I mean some hasbro heads didnt always greatly resemble who they were supposed to be, like Yokozuna, IRS or the Mountie so theres always that. But who knows. We already have an ex-Hasbro employee on here now, lets search for an ex-Mannix chap.

Hasbro wouldn't have been sculpting a new Hogan head in 1994. By the time Diesel did anything of note, Hogan was gone.
