Not trying to be a jerk, but doesn't posting ABOUT the live auction sort of defeat the purpose of not posting a link to it? Anyone curious enough to bid on it probably got all the info they needed from what you posted.

I would guess its got the same feel as a regular LJN except its unpainted, but thats just going by how it looks in the pic in my view.
Its funny, unpainted it also looks more like Orton than when it is painted.

That's Georges' Collectibles. He has a store close to Philadelphia, PA. I was there once. They have excellent in-store guests (Sunny, Powers of Pain, Demolition). He has a ton of action figures, so my guess it that it's legit.

No use in worrying about it now. The seller ended the auction. Shame I would have liked to see what it went for..

Ok kid, calm down and dry your eyes. thats what forums are for, to ask questions about figures and how authentic they are. Theres tons of posts about hasbro kamala moons, testshots etc asking advice on authenticity.

Now that was a load of boloni!!!! There was no link posted and many times there are questions asked here about the authenticity of unusual pieces. Many members here constantly search for prototypes, so you didn't stand a chance to begin with (using your way of thinking). BTW, either the seller ended the auction or it ended with 0 bids...

Personally to me it looks like the figure is just a resin duplicate of the original, hard to tell unless it is pictured beside the original released figure (hardshots should be taller then the normal released figure and I'm not sure or can't remember but I don't think the original hardcopies were made of resin/hard plastic back then)

I would normally stay out of such threads, but "27 year-old grown ass men" should know better than to call people retards and noobs. Does that sound like a remotely good idea for you to say?
Also, if you don't think you can win an auction yourself, then you can't possibly "make sure" the original poster doesn't win it. That sounds like a child breaking his own toys so no one else can play with them. No need to be petty. Is it really going to do you any good to make sure some guy on the internet who you've never even met doesn't get to have his action figure? Try doing something good for someone. What goes around comes around.
The way you are acting here is what's wrong with this forum. If you're going to be like this, then no one here will care about the size of your collection, and they certainly won't care enough to look back through your threads to see it. I really wish that people around these forums were more respectful of each other. If you really are 27 years old, then I hope for your sake and for those around you that this isn't how you act in real life.
Before you can call me an "0ld n00b!!11!!," I'm three years younger than you, and I'd like to think that I know how to treat people. I have nothing against you personally, but if you want to be a part of this community, you just can't act like that.

Had this one on my watch list but was also going to contact a few of you to see if it was 100% legit as my LJN market knowledge isn't the best..... shame it got pulled but who knows - maybe it'll reappear again soon. Its kinda cool that we are seeing a number of these protos coming onto the market. Seems as if we are all watching the same items - and most of the time when one of these pieces sells it goes to someone on this board so its cool we get more pics etc even if we don't win it ourselves. This one would have been a great item to own - given its age and the fact we don't see many LJN protos floating about Id imagine this would have hit top dollar!
