I don't think a bagged figure would look very good signed. Autographs bring down the value of the item.. I'd find a less valuable item to get signed by him. The magazine in the background would make for a neat signed piece

Why would an autograph bring the value down? It usually costs more to buy a moc figure that is autographed than one that is not autographed.
Also there are people out there that are trying to get all LJNs or Hasbros moc and autographed. Some of these are near impossible to obtain since many of the wrestlers have passed away but there is most likely someone out there that has these figures signed by the wrestler before they passed on. So these would bring in more money because it would be the only way to get these figures.

See if you can find a used copy of "Hulk Rules!" by Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band to get signed. That's what I did.

I say get it signed. When you have the chance to get it signed by the hulkster, you go for it.

No, get a regular Hasbro or CS signed. Also, Elementz pens, sold at walmart next to the sharpies (8 pack or metallics) look amazing on CS. Gold or silver

I wouldn't, but it's up to you.
Not only is it essentially destoying one of the few Hogan mailaways out there, it also just won't look very good, and it's kind of wasting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get Hogan's signature on something that really won't stand out as well as it could.
If you choose to get a figure signed, I'd either get a carded Hasbro figure or the CS8 red and yellow. If you got that CS figure signed in a gold marker or yellow paint pen, it would look incredible.
If you really want to spend some money on an awesome signature, you could always get some yellow trunks or boots from Highspots. spam has some of the tear-away WCW Hogan shirts, too.

First of all its your choice.
But I would go with a CS figure instead, or the classic replica belt. Oh and take pictures while hes signing, I always do that's my proof.

Thanks for the input guys. i think i've decided on not getting the Hasbro's signed and instead getting my Lee's Toy Review signed instead. And of course a picture is a given, first as proof, but secondly because it's Hulk Hogan - how many times do you get to meet a legend like that in your lifetime

I'd take a carded Hasbro Hogan (series 1 is the cheapest, I think) and a silver pen to let Hogan sign that.

Why would an autograph bring the value down? For carded figures, autographs on them are considered damage and bring down their grade.

I say that it is ultimately what you want to get signed. As long as you are happy with your choice, what does it matter what any of us think?

Why would an autograph bring the value down? For carded figures, autographs on them are considered damage and bring down their grade. ive been collecting since 90'ish and ive gotta say, thats the biggest load of plss i have ever heard. If he has a photo of hogan signing it.. it will sky rocket in value. If it looks like a seller on ebay has flasely scribbled a name on an item and tries to pass it off as a sig.. then i see your point point. When has 'proofed' sig items ever been claimed as a mark and brought down the value of any item... the word 'never' springs to mind. ... anyway, Im guessing your going to wrestleslam 3 paul.. me too hopefully. Is it 1 item signed per wrestler? If its 2, i would get the magazine and a moc hasbro signed, get a photo with both items and hulk signing them in 1 pic. That photo, the mag and the moc hasbro mounted would be an AMAZING centre pieceo. and would fetch a bloody mint

I might be meeting Hogan TWICE this year. I already met him once back in 2000 but he's coming here (IL) next week for the Hulk Hogan Fan Appreciation Day AND he's coming back here in October for his book signing.
