Afternoon all..... Was tidying up today and opened a wardrobe that many of my figures are stored in and came across all my WWF Magazines that I put in there a few months back that I intended to sort through but never got round to doing..... Anyway....... I thought id post a couple of WWF figure adverts I came across, I know some have been shown before but figured id post a few I found..... Now the item is a snapshot of an advert for WWF Merchandise - Basically if you brought the Saturday Night Main Event Video you got a free Hogan figure.... im sure if you took them up on this offer the hogan you were sent came in a plastic bag..... Finally in one of the WWF magazines is an article on the production of Hasbro figures..... look closely of the Rockers figures..... its not the best picture but some of the Rockers outfits look more yellow than green.... I don't have a scanner otherwise Id have scanned this in - does anyone know of a variation on the rockers trunks? Anyway..... enjoy the post!

The picture with the figures on trays was for the production of the Hasbro commercials starring Roddy Piper.
The ad with the SNME video/Hogan giveaway is from the UK.

Ahh the memories. I used to circle the ones I wanted first, then save up my $20 a week allowance and go with my mom to the mall to KBs and search for them.

Does anyone know what month and year each set came out? In the Undertaker pic it says
Series 6 (Blue Card) June 1993 Series 7 (Yellow Card) August 1993
I have been trying to figure this out for awhile.
thanks for the pics.

The set with Sid, Warlord and Mountie came out around November 1992 and the Martel, IRS, Skinner set came out around January/ February 1993. Then the Red card set came out towards the end of 1993 and the Purple card set came out at the beginnig of 1994.

What issue is that Hasbro picture at the bottom in? I might have to dig that one out and have a look.

That Doink advert is astronamically good in my opinion.
