At one time it was very hard to find, but a few years back eBay was flooded with these. Story has it that some wholesaler found (very) old stock. Several boxes of these. Now it's not worth more than $ 15 - $ 20 or so.

To conclude the "Is it LJN debate?"
It's HG Toys. As far as I know HG only made 4 wrestling figures.
Hogan and Andre Clip Ons (released individually and as a set) and Hogan and Studd Zipper Pulls (also released individually and as a set).
The Zipper Pulls are very small figures, about 1,5 inch or so, but have the exact same pose as their big LJN counterparts. It's a simular thing that happened with the Winston Toys erasers.
So I am pretty sure that HG Toys was part of LJN.

The packaging looks very similar, including the WRESTLING SUPERSTARS logo.

Well I didnt know what make it was. It could be for all I no. It's like funskool and Hasbro. Obviously Hasbro made WWF figures in the early 1990's but there is a few figures out there with Funskool on.

I had both Andre and Hogan when I was younger. The clips eventually broke, but I kept the figs. I don't like to throw wrestling stuff away.

To be honest, I bought this hoping it might be worth something I guess I'll stick to my Euro Millions hopes! Still, I think it's nice for the collection, I've always favored older non-Jakks figures and things, there's a nice air about them

Not worth much, but a very cool collectable. Id display this, along with the Hogan one. I used to have the MOTU clips years ago.
