Wow, LA continues their stellar run with wins by RD and Pagano. The Hardcore match sounded insane in the membrane. LyNN is definitely the top candidate for Wrestler of the Year so far. Keep this up man.

Devin Curtis picking up the win in not only a hardcore match, but the main event is awesome. Sounded like one hell of a match. Good to see New York still hanging in there. We just need some more wins!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Hartford, CT 07/24/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,550
What a wonderful night for wrestling here in Hartford, CT, as the weather is gorgeous and the crowd is hot. Hello everyone, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, I am here to recap yet another edition of NWL Live, tonight coming from the home town of the Tri-State Evolution! We are coming off the heels of a very interesting night in New York last night...what will tonight have in store for us?
vs. vs. Match #1; Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 29:19 of action, in a monster triple threat match to begin this evening with, Ace Bennett continued the extremely hot streak that Los Angeles has been on, as he got the victory following a Syracuse Drop on Black. Ace really sat back in this match, as Black & Hart really went at it from the get-go. Tons of emotion came pouring from this match and Bennett found himself receiving some cheers here, as the crowd really doesn't like the other two guys. Awesome match to start off with here.
vs. vs. Match #2; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] - After 24:59 of action, these three men put on another great triple threat, better than most really expected, and it was Cameron Stone who helped the Brawlers become victorious in this one, after a Cam Slam on Duan Sanchez Jr. The crowd became pretty angry during this one, as Duan looked very weak and Zeke & Stone really shined over him. Stone broke his mini-losing streak with the pinfall over Sanchez and got Boston back on track.
- Intermission -
- Check out this week's NWL Roundup which includes Best of the Best news, the injury report, the top 10 and minor league reports!
vs. Match #3; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 16:42 of action, Brian Thompson continued his now serve hot streak with a win over Boston's captain after hitting him with the Roll the Dice. Even after Stone was JUST able to score the win, Corino let his team down with yet another loss from him this season. Thompson was wrestling circles around the older Corino and it seems he got the easy win over a captain in the squared circle tonight.
vs. Match #4; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 26:21 of action, former teammates squared off in our fourth match of the evening and Evan Pagano once again got a victory here, but not without a little help. Boston's X Jack came down to ringside and distracted Bockwinkel by taunting him from the outside. Pagano then caught Bockwinkel off guard and drilled him with The Calling. Pagano celebrated as the crowd cheered for another loss for New York.
- Afterward, X Jack laughed at Bockwinkel, who was very pissed off at the outcome of the match. Jack said, "Payback is a bitch!" to Mike and left the ring area.
vs. Match #5; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 16:08 of action, in a lackluster main event compared to the match beforehand, Kevin Shamrock sent the fans home pretty happy, as he got the Evolution their first victory of the evening, this time over Trace Demon after a Famine Driver. There was just something missing in this one and the crowd was certainly happy that their team got the win, but they were also disappointed that this was the main event. All in all, a pretty big downer to end the night on.
- We return to Hartford on the 7th of August and see our great fans next 3 days from now when we return to Chicago!

That was a pretty sick opening match with Hart/Bennett/Black. Awesome that Ace picked up the win over two such great opponents. Evan Pagano picking up the win for LA is awesome as well. Hopefully LA doesn't stop this and gets the REPEAT!!! This is an awesome diary, keep it up man.

I hate Bockwinkel for costing me the Hardcore Match victory. But Revenge is sweet for X Jack and I love what your doing with him, main eventing one week then screwing over a huge star the next. This is getting awesome.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Chicago, IL 07/27/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,842
The windy city is pretty calm this evening, but the crowd seems hotter than ever. Hey everybody, its Jimmy Pietrafesa here live from Chicago, and I am going to provide you with some of the greatest action in professional-wrestling today, the National Wrestling League. The Chicago Warriors look to break out of the middle of the pack tonight and hopefully gain some ground on the first place Most Wanted! Let's find out if they do just that!
vs. Match #1; Derrick Jones [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Drew Parkland [New York Crush] - After 08:42 of action, the crowd was completely taken out of the show with this very bland opening where someone was getting their first win of the year, and that man was Derrick Jones, who handed Parkland his 10th straight loss after nailing him with a backbreaker. Parkland just cannot carry himself at all in the ring and the inexperienced Jones did all he could to make the match watchable. All in all, not the smartest way to start the night.
vs. Match #2; Matt Justice & Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Jason Williams & Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 26:52 of action, the crowd was picked right up after the opener with this tag battle between the two first place teams. In the end, it was Matt Justice who ended the Most Wanted's incredible win streak after he crushed Williams with a Double Underhook Powerbomb. These four can certainly blend well in a match and they provided the crowd with some needed adrenaline. Justice really looked well in this one, maybe trying to spark himself up again.
- Afterward, Justice gave Pagano a Double Underhook for good measure. It seems that Matt Justice was just a little bitter able losing to Pagano a few shows ago and he has gotten revenge.
vs. Match #3; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. X Jack [Boston Brawlers] - After 22:09 of action, the crowd became very happy after they saw the unstoppable LyNN take another win for their team in this match, following a Springboard Tornado DDT. X Jack seemed to be looking over his shoulder the entire match, waiting for Bockwinkel or Curtis to come out, but nothing happened. LyNN, being the opportunist, capitalized on this and took advantage for most of the encounter. LyNN then drilled him with one of the craziest moves in the NWL today for the victory.
- Following the match, X Jack was going to leave while LyNN was celebrating and Mike Bockwinkel & Devin Curtis came down to the ring to jump X Jack. The two started to do a number on Jack when LyNN chased them off after coming with a chair at the two New York members. LyNN then helped Jack up while the crowd applauded the two men.
- Intermission -
- The NWL Roundup will showcase the news going around the league. Be sure to check in right after this show, as an update should be up!
- It was announced that Matt Justice will do battle with Evan Pagano 4 days from now in Los Angeles as the main event for the evening!
vs. Match #4; Steve Corino & Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] vs. Trace Demon & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 18:32 of action, the Boston duo were able to take care of their counterparts in the match back from intermission, as Steve Corino drilled King with an Old School Kick for the victory. This match was a little weak compared to the previous two, but wasn't terrible. The four men tried to work as smoothly as possible, but King got a tad stiff and threw off the groove. Crowd seemed to enjoy it, so it was a success.
vs. Match #5; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 29:01 of action, in a match that was close to being a draw, the crowd was in complete shock as this could have been the match of the year. These two have always put on great matches for the past two seasons, but tonight, Kevin Hart finally got the best of Ace here, as he made him submit to the Sharpshooter in the center of the ring. Wow, the action was just so much to handle, but they pulled off another great one. Definitely my match of the year thus far.
vs. Match #6; Assassin & Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Shamrock & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 23:34 of action, the crowd was a bit let down by this one for two reasons; the Warriors were defeated by their opponents in their hometown main event and the previous match was just so unbelievable. Kevin Shamrock sealed the deal on the match after he drilled Zeke with a Famine Driver and got the pinfall. The Evolution looked really well in this match and Assassin was definitely the weakest man. Solid main event, but not as good as many thought it should be.
- We join you folks next in Chicago on the 31st of August, over a month from now! We will see everyone next on the 31st of July in Los Angeles for Pagano/Justice!

Well I expected this, but at least it came against a great opponent like Kevin Hart. Bennett vs. Hart has to be the ultimate rivalry of all sign ups. Hopefully Ace can get back on the ball in the next couple of shows. Like the way you are handling the rookies in this. Keep up the great work.

Not surprised that I lost but I am happy LyNN made the save, nice choice especially since he just beat me. Glad Corino garnered some points for the brawlers.

Big whoops for Parkland seems like he needs a shifting to the minors, sad that we lost our streak but it had to happen, I'm guessing Pagano or a LA member will want revenge on Justice, LyNN helping Jack? Hart over Ace wow not main event? meh main event apart from Sanzhez, keep this up

NWL.com BREAKING NEWS: DUAN SANCHEZ JR. DEMOTED; OUTRAGED By Steven Rickely - A developing story out of the Tri-State Evolution camp this morning as Duan Sanchez Jr. has been informed of his demotion to the minor leagues by Kevin Shamrock. As you may expected, this is not sitting well with Duan and he has asked to be moved one way or another; trade/release. Sanchez (5-6) admittedly has been off his game as of late, but he feels there are no grounds for demotion. Duan has one year left on his $34,800 contract, making him the highest paid wrestler in the league. In light of all of this, Duan's replacement on the team will be Petey Williams, a man who truly deserves a shot. Keep checking back here for updates on the situation.
BEST OF THE BEST NEWS By Jimmy Pietrafesa - Nothing major to report on the Best of the Best this week guys!
INJURY REPORT By Doctor Richmond - Nothing to report from this front; everyone seems to be pretty healthy.
MINOR LEAGUE REPORT By Benjamin Bell Boston Brawlers: Grizzly Bear: Still looking pretty average in there. Nothing special. Grade: C X Matt: Matt had a bit of a setback here in the minors. May be suffering from the flu bug. Grade: C+ Cody Rejero: Cody took a crucial week off last week and it paid off this week, looked up to his standards in the ring. Grade: B Chicago Warriors Blaze: Blaze continues to be fairly decent down here. Providing a lot of spark and emotion to his matches. Grade: B Daniel Idol: Well, Daniel definitely improved this week, but he still hasn't looked WELL. Not too terrible though. Grade: D Las Vegas Blitz Chris Hammers: Hammers is definitely having a mental block or something, because he cannot get his head in the ring. Grade: C Sam Kineval: This guy has stepped up the most in the past few days. This is exactly what his brother does and I see a lot of Dragon in this kid. Grade: C+ Daniel Sinn: Always classy Daniel Sinn carries himself like a professional around the locker room. I think he deserves a call up. Grade: B+ Chris West: I'm not too worried about West, but his lack of focus will keep him down here for the entire year I believe. Grade: C Los Angeles Most Wanted Silas McGahey: Silas, I feel, came into his own this week. Not fully, but there is something brewing in him definitely. Grade: B- Jack Richardson: Richardson seems to be back on track after this week. Very solid in the ring. Grade: B Richie Stevens: Stevens came back from a week off, but I don't think it did too much. Still over-eager in the ring and that leads to sloppyness. Grade: C- New York Crush Donnie East: I think New York might have the best minor league system, as Yamato & East definitely are a bright spot. Grade: A Keeley Matthews/Kaci Montgomery: Still haven't seen any action...Grade: N/A Yuko Nagashiki: Well, as good as the others are down here in New York, Yuko really brings them down. Worthless effort. Grade: F Jin Yamato: I think New York might have the best minor league system, as Yamato & East definitely are a bright spot. Grade: A Tri-State Evolution Cyber Dragon: Want to see this guy wake up a little. Impress me with something! Grade: C+ D-Jack: Jack seems very inexperience inside the ring, but carries himself like a professional. Grade: C+ Connor O'Reily: Connor has been the best for the Evolution down here. Looking pretty good! Grade: B+ Stan Shafer: Stan is really paling in comparison to his brother; who hasn't been fairing well anyway. Grade: C+ Bret Thomas: Maybe the most charismatic down here and has definite ring potential. Grade: B Petey Williams: Good for Petey, deserves a taste of the majors! Grade: B+

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 07/31/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,905
Hello all you wrestling fans and welcome to what should be a special night in National Wrestling League history! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, as always, and tonight, these fans will be treated to some great wrestling action, including a stacked main event featuring Evan Pagano battling with Matt Justice, as well as 5 other matches! Let's get right down to business with some action!
A few announcements took place before the show: - Kevin Shamrock has announced that Duan Sanchez Jr. is now on the trading block. He is accepting any offers for Sanchez. Duan is obviously unhappy with his demotion to the minors! Petey Williams will debut tonight! - The New York Crush have released both Yuko Nagashiki & Tallarico Umasaki, sent down Drew Parkland and recalled Donnie East!
vs. Match #1; Devin Curtis [New York Crush] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 28:05 of action, in a wonderful opener filled with emotion, LyNN was able to steal the victory from Curtis and I only say steal because X Jack of the Boston Brawlers helped distract Curtis near the entrance way. These two definitely were all even during the match, but X Jack really annoyed Curtis and this allowed LyNN to roll him up for the win. LyNN saved X Jack last show from a brutal attack and it appears the favor has been returned.
- LyNN was celebrating his victory and started to walk back to the backstage area when Mike Bockwinkel attacked him from out of nowhere. Bockwinkel was beating down on LyNN and Curtis joined in until X Jack came BACK down to the ring and chased off the New York duo with a chair. Crowd cheered for X Jack, as New York was playing the heels.
vs. Match #2; Petey Williams [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 13:40 of action, Petey Williams made a pretty solid debut here in the NWL, but his efforts were thwarted by Tyler Black as Black got the victory over Williams after a 450 Splash. The match had its ups and downs, but Black basically controlled most of it. Crowd seemed to be a little down following the first match and Black/Williams had to pull out all the stops to get them into it. Not a bad match, just not as good as the first.
vs. Match #3; Jason Williams & Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Cameron Stone & Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] - After 21:38 of action, this solid tag team match sent the crowd happy into the intermission, as Red Dragon continued his insane hot streak in this match after drilling Marcus Jones with the Red Dragon Driver and getting the pinfall for the victory. The Most Wanted just have been a force to be reckoned with the entire season and this match was no different. The Boston pair tried to put up a good fight, but it was all LA in the end!
- Intermission -
- It was announced during the intermission that the first ever inter-team tag team match will take place tomorrow night in New York, as LyNN & X Jack will face off against Devin Curtis & Mike Bockwinkel. This will be the first ever time two competitors from two different teams team up with each other! Don't miss out!
vs. Match #4; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 15:09 of action, these two familiar foes squared off again and this time, Steve Corino took home the victory after planting an Old School Kick on Assassin in the center of the ring. Eh, I don't really know what to say about this match. Sure, it was pretty decent but these guys have wrestled so many times against each other, that they are starting to get stale. Not that the match was bad, just overdone I guess.
vs. Match #5; Derrick Jones & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Kevin Hart & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 19:02 of action, Mike Bockwinkel got himself some practice before tomorrow's big tag match here and his team got the win after Kevin Hart made Derrick Jones submit to the Sharpshooter. King & Jones really stood no chance in this match, but it still went for a considerable amount of time because Bockwinkel really toyed with these guys. Eventually, Hart put them out of their misery and got the win for New York.
vs. Match #6; Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 26:55 of action, these two put on a fantastic main event that definitely lived up to its hype and what it was billed as. Eventually, the crowd was definitely thrilled when Evan Pagano crushed Justice with The Calling and got the victory in the encounter. I could watch these guys wrestle each other for hours, but Pagano really put an exclamation point on the match with The Calling. The match was very close, but in the end, Pagano stood tall with his fellow fans!
- Afterward, Justice picked himself up and extended his hand to Pagano. They shook on it and a ton of respect now exists between these two guys!
- We revisit Los Angeles on the 18th of August and see everyone next tomorrow in New York for the epic tag team match!

Thank God Drew Parkland is in the minors now. He was just terrible. Devin Curtis getting the loss sucks, but at least it furthers the X Jack/Curtis feud. Can't wait to see whats next. Hart/Bockwinkel getting a win for New York is great. Hopefully we can get some more! Keep up the great shows, duaner.

Corino/Assassin sounds good, glad NY won they had the stronger team, whoo go LA, good luck and keep this up

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! New York, NY 08/01/10 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 6,000 (SELLOUT)
The arena is fully packed out here tonight for our first show in the month of August! Hello everyone, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the National Wrestling League presents to you another great evening of wrestling, which will feature our first ever Interteam Tag Match! Also, 4 other great matches, so let's stop wasting time and get down to business.
vs. Match #1; Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 18:56 of action, our opener here featured some fast-paced action, but it definitely went a little too long for the crowd. In the end, Jason Williams continued the unbelievable streak the Most Wanted have been on lately and finished Black off after a Psycho Driver. Sure, these guys have pretty similar styles, but the match ran pretty long and the crowd saw this as a downer and early piss-break.
vs. Match #2; Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 14:09 of action, Sean Shafer bounced back with a vengeance here in this one tonight, as he handled the now cooled Brian Thompson and got the victory after the Augustan Heat. The crowd was behind Shafer and Thompson played a pretty solid heel. The match itself was mostly slow with a few big spots here and there. Definitely not the best out of these two, but it wasn't terrible.
vs. vs. Match #3; Donnie East [New York Crush] vs. Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 22:30 of action, Donnie East made his debut here for the NWL, but he fell short to one of the best in the NWL today and last year's Best of the Best winner, Ace Bennett. Ace got the win in this triple threat after he caught both Stone & East with two Syracuse Drops and then a double pin. The crowd didn't like this one at all, but Ace just looked absolutely unstoppable here. It looks like Bennett has hit last year's stride and has become the best today.
- Intermission -
- Fliers were passed out for the next New York show. Bring the flier back and get 15% off any NWL merchandise!
vs. Match #4; Derrick Jones [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Petey Williams [Tri-State Evolution] - After 20:01 of action, these two guys were meant to warm the crowd up with this match and they certainly did that. Two of the newest NWL competitors did battle here and it was Petey Williams who came out victorious after delivering the devastating Canadian Destroyer, which dazzled the crowd. Williams & Jones worked pretty well together and had styles that made them put on a decent enough match. Good warm up for our history making main event.
vs. Match #5; Mike Bockwinkel & Devin Curtis [New York Crush] vs. X Jack [Boston Brawlers] & LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 29:42 of action, in an excellent main event that really showed off the high points of everyone involved and almost ended in a draw, it was the New York duo that stole the victory from their adversaries, as they had some help from a steel chair. Curtis distracted the official while Bockwinkel drilled both men with a steel chair and then Devin Curtis pinned X Jack after a 450 Splash. Even though they were the heels in the match, the crowd loves their team and cheered on the Crush here. It seems that New York won't stop cheating to get the win and once again, things aren't settled with this feud.
- Afterward, both Cameron Stone & Zeke came pouring out from the locker room to chase off Bockwinkel/Curtis from the ring. The crowd cheered the New York duo as they walked to the back and the four men of the Brawlers & Warriors collected themselves in the ring.
- We return to New York on the 21st of August and see fans next in Las Vegas three days from now!
