It's always the same 2 or 3 people from NYC that are on the shows! It's my team and I'm not gonna take it anymore!

Shame that X Jack and Corino lost but at-least they weren't pinned. Stone winning is great news.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 07/09/10 - 3:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELLOUT)
The fans are packed here on this gorgeous Los Angeles afternoon and I think they are ready for some great NWL action. I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and today, we have our 9 match afternoon for this sellout crowd! Will the Los Angeles Most Wanted continue their dominance in the league today or will we see a different result? Let's get directly to the action, as there is a ton here today!
- It was announced that Derrick Jones has been recalled by the Las Vegas Blitz and Chris Hammers was sent down after last night's show. Jones will not be here this afternoon though.
vs. Match #1; Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Drew Parkland [New York Crush] - After 08:54 of action, the crowd was already pissed off after a really sucky opener here between these two rookies and the end saw Zeke put the crowd out of their misery after a Zeke Driver. The woes for Parkland really continue here as he loses yet again and he is unable to even put on a decent match. Zeke held his own in the match, its just that the crowd was real let-down that this was the opener.
vs. Match #2; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 24:03 of action, this match really redeemed the faith from the crowd, as it was absolutely awesome and Matt Justice was able to walk away with the victory after a school boy pin. This match was really back and fourth as neither man would give in. The crowd really liked this one as the styles between the two men blended well and Justice surprised his opponent here with a quick pin and three count. Nice rebound match for the evening.
vs. Match #3; Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] - After 18:29 of action, Jason Williams gave the Los Angeles crowd something to cheer about before the first intermission, as he was able to defeat's Boston Marcus Jones after a Psycho Driver. I'm not sure if it was because the crowd was sold out, but they were REALLY loud during this one. Jones actually became fed up during the match and yelled back at the crowd. This match was very entertaining actually and put the crowd in a good mood.
- Intermission #1 -
- An NWL official announced that on this week's NWL Roundup, we will hear from Chris Hammers on his demotion, an update on the Best of the Best tournament and of course, minor league reports and the top 10!
vs. Match #4; Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] - After 20:50 of action, in another great match here in Los Angeles, Sean Shafer sneaked a win away from the Blitz and King as King almost had him up for the King's Coronation, but Shafer reversed it and drilled him with the Augustan Heat. Crowd really saw something good in this one and they actually gave Shafer a hand at the end of the match. Sean seemed puzzled by the praise, but he raised his hands in victory going up the entrance way. What a way to come back from break!
vs. Match #5; X Jack [Boston Brawlers] vs. Devin Curtis [New York Crush] - After 05:12 of action, yes you read that right, 5:12 of action, both men were counted out and we officially had our first draw ever in the NWL! After being tossed out of the ring by Jack, Curtis refused to get back in and wrestle the rookie, so X Jack dove after him. The two brawled it out on the floor and the referee's count reached 10 before the two could get back in the ring!
- The two continued to go at it on the outside after the match and it got really ugly. Curtis nailed X Jack with a chair that busted him out, but Jack wouldn't go out. Eventually, the locker room poured out to break up the brawl and it seemed to be some real hate between these two guys. I love the intensity though and so did the crowd!
vs. Match #6; Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 28:56 of action, in another match of the year candidate with a battle of the two undefeated wrestlers so far this year, LyNN was able to defeat Pagano and take sole crowd of the only undefeated person in the NWL, after he crushed him with a Springboard DDT. Wow, these two really poured everything into this match and the result was absolutely amazing. The crowd, obviously, was pulling for Pagano, but cheered still when LyNN won. This one was really something special.
- Intermission #2 -
- It seems that the X Jack/Devin Curtis brawl that just went down wasn't planned to go like that and the match wasn't supposed to end in a draw. Interesting, there may be some real life heat between these guys...
- Crowd is still RAVING about the last match in that segment of the show.
vs. Match #7; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 16:43 of action, these two put on a solid encounter inside the squared circle, but came out a little flat from that last match. Either way, Assassin scored the victory, the 3rd of the night for Chicago, after he made Corino take the 'Assassin's Way' and the pinfall followed. These captains are pretty familiar with each other, but the crowd wasn't really feeling it. Believe me, the effort was there, it was just overshadowed by the previous match.
vs. Match #8; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 19:33 of action, in a match between guys who definitely have some NWL history, Mike Bockwinkel once again came out over Kevin Shamrock here, after he drilled him with the Bockwinkel Special. There was some stiff shots given in this match and the intensity surrounding the match was heavy. It seems like these guys still legitimately hate each other, but they sure do put on some good matches.
vs. Match #9; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 25:14 of action, the Los Angeles Most Wanted ended the night on a high note here, after Red Dragon pushed Trace Demon aside and got the win following the Red Dragon Driver. These fans were absolutely nuts during the entire exchange and the amount of Red Dragon chants were overwhelming. Dragon & Demon have put on some consistently good matches in the past and this one doesn't fall short, nice way to end the night!
- Phew, that was a helluva day. We come back and visit Los Angeles again 10 days from now! And we see you great fans next in over a week, on the 17th, in Las Vegas!

I'm in the minors, so that means that I will never get booked. Brilliant. Just flippin' brilliant.

Awesome show. Parkland just can't seem to get a win. The draw between Devin Curtis and X Jack is pretty cool. I wonder if you'll continue the feud or not. I could see a suspension of the two first, though. Nice to see Bockwinkel get a much needed win for New York. Hopefully we can get some more! Once again, and excellent show duaner, and keep it up!

NWL.com CHRIS HAMMERS ON DEMOTION By Steven Rickely - One of our great NWL recently caught up with freshly demoted Chris Hammers. He was able to get a few statements about the the demotion out of Hammers and here is some of the noteworthy things said during the exchange:
"Well, once again, I'm back here in the minors. I think it was around this time last year also that I was sent to the sh*tter. Can't say I'm surprised as I have basically sucked this year and there is no excuse for that. I would love to live up to my potential, but I just cannot do that under the Las Vegas management. It is virtually impossible for me to be myself here in Las Vegas and I think a change of scenery is in order."
BEST OF THE BEST NEWS By Jimmy Pietrafesa - It was announced over the week that the 2010 Best of the Best tournament will take place from October 1st - October 3rd! Another three night event is planned, but it is still uncertain on who will host the show!
INJURY REPORT By Doctor Richmond - Nothing to report from this front; everyone seems to be pretty healthy.
MINOR LEAGUE REPORT By Benjamin Bell Boston Brawlers: Grizzly Bear: No real improvement over the week for Grizzly. He still seems to just be pretty average in the ring. Grade: C+ X Matt: X Matt continues to shine down here and hopefully he he can find himself an opening on that Brawlers' major lineup soon. Grade: B+ Cody Rejero: Rejero actually took the week off as he had some personal problems to sort out. Grade: C- Chicago Warriors Blaze: Blaze has been pretty decent once again this week. Scored himself a few wins and may be moving up sooner rather than later. Grade: B Daniel Idol: Idol's woes have continued down here. I wonder if his head is in other places like Rejero, because he looks like absolute trash to me. Grade: F Las Vegas Blitz Derrick Jones: This week proved that he was ready for the call up he received. He should fair very well in the real NWL! Grade: B+ Sam Kineval: Kineval continued to show his inconsistency this week. I wonder if he will wake up also. Grade: C Daniel Sinn: Once again, Sinn looks to be my sleeper pick for this year. VERY solid; works like a professional. Grade: B+ Chris West: West actually had himself a pretty rough week down here on the farm. Botched a few moves and his confidence has sinked. Grade: C Los Angeles Most Wanted Silas McGahey: Still can't really tell what's going on with McGahey. I like his appearance and character, but I cannot believe in him. Grade: C+ Jack Richardson: Richardson seems to be back on track after this week. Very solid in the ring. Grade: B Richie Stevens: Richie was given the week off by Red Dragon to calm down on his over-eagerness. Let's see if it does anything! Grade: C New York Crush Donnie East: Donnie impressed me again this week. He seems to be major league ready and I think he could be seeing a call-up soon with the terribleness of Parkland. Grade: B+ Keeley Matthews/Kaci Montgomery: Still haven't seen any action...Grade: N/A Yuko Nagashiki: Yuko, like Daniel Idol, definitely needs to get his head into the game. Terrible showing thus far. Grade: F Tallarico Umasaki: BAD week for Umasaki. He really isn't adapting welling down here and needs to get his act in order. Grade: D Jin Yamato: Jin really needs to be called up when the opportunity rises. He may be able to help New York big time! Grade: A Tri-State Evolution Cyber Dragon: Looks kind of bland so far. Let's hope he wakes up a bit. Grade: C+ D-Jack: Another guy who really needs to step up. Not liking what I've seen from him at all. Grade: C+ Connor O'Reily: Connor has been the best, besides Williams, for the Evolution down here. Looking pretty good! Grade: B+ Stan Shafer: Looking half as good as his brother and really needs to step it up. Grade: C+ Bret Thomas: I like this guy, he appears to definitely have some potential in the ring and on the mic. Grade: B Petey Williams: Cannot adjust down here; wants to get into the action in the majors; definitely ready. Grade: B+
TOP 10: 1. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] [Last Week: 1 (/)] 2. Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 1 (-1)] T-3. Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] [Last Week: 3 (/)] T-3. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] [Last Week: 3 (/)] T-4. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 3 (-1)] T-4. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 8 (+4)] 7. ...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Las Vegas, NV 07/17/10 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,940
Welcome back from our extended break all you NWL fans! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and this evening, the National Wrestling League presents another edition of 'NWL Live' from Las Vegas, NV! Tonight, the Las Vegas Blitz look to break out of the cellar and they also look towards Derrick Jones, who will be making his debut, for a new spark! Let's find out what happens!
vs. Match #1; Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] vs. Devin Curtis [New York Crush] - After 15:06 of action, this was a wild one to open up the evening with. Cameron Stone got the victory for Boston, but he had some help as X Jack ran down to the ring and distracted Curtis, which allowed Stone to size him up for the Cam Slam and get the pinfall. Curtis seemed to have the match in the bag and the crowd began to get worried, but Jack came running down and basically ruined the end to a great match.
- Afterward, X Jack got into the ring and started to beat-down on Curtis. Stone joined in on the attack, but Kevin Hart ran out and made the save for his team. The Brawlers duo scurried out of the ring and walked up the ramp as Hart shouted at them while checking on his partner.
vs. Match #2; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 26:54 of action, in a helluva match between two guys who know what they are doing in the ring, Ace Bennett was victorious for the Most Wanted here, after he caught Sanchez with a Syracuse Drop. I don't know what was bugging Ace in the beginning of the year, but he has definitely gotten back to his usual status. He has become a real force again and this is exactly what Los Angeles wants. Another good match here and this show is looking good thus far!
vs. Match #3; LyNN & Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Derrick Jones & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 18:21 of action, Derrick Jones put up a good fight for his team, but just fell short to the still undefeated LyNN & his partner Zeke. The end of the match saw Zeke actually get the pinfall after catching King with a Zeke Driver. This was pretty lackluster compared to the two matches that came before it, but it was still solid. Crowd is starting to get very restless with their team and something needs to happen.
- Intermission -
- It was announced that on the 23rd in New York City, Devin Curtis will meet X Jack in a hardcore match! Crowd seemed vaguely interested...
vs. Match #4; Kevin Shamrock & Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Kevin Hart & Drew Parkland [New York Crush] - After 13:45 of action, New York's rookie woes continued here, as Drew Parkland was the man who took the loss for his team after Matt Justice destroyed him with a Double Underhook Powerbomb. Crowd was pretty interested in the match because it was just plain good. All four men blended alright, but Parkland still looked pretty useless out their for New York. Good win for the Evolution though as Justice looks more dominant this year.
vs. Match #5; Red Dragon & Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Steve Corino & Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] - After 22:34 of action, Los Angeles got themselves another win here, but it was Jason Williams who really saved the team, after Red Dragon was knocked out with a Superkick from Corino, but Williams broke up the count, got the hot tag and then eventually nailed the Psycho Driver on Marcus Jones. The Most Wanted look really good as a team and they showed this tonight, even when their captain has a flat night, they can still be picked up. Boston looked a bit off, but the match was still solid.
vs. Match #6; Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 23:40 of action, in a match that was better than everyone thought it would be, Trace Demon sent the crowd home a little happier as he got the win over Assassin following a Demonstration of Hell. Assassin looked like he could have gotten the win out there, but Demon had the crowd behind him, which was surprising. Demon gave his team some life, as this seems like their first win in quite a long time!
- We return to Las Vegas on August 4th and we rejoin you NWL fans next in Los Angeles, two days from now!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 07/19/10 - 6:30 PM Attendance: 4,982
We are creeping up on the dog days of summer and what better way to spend one of these summer evenings then with the NWL! Hello all, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, we here at the National Wrestling League bring you another great edition of NWL Live, from Los Angeles, CA! The Most Wanted have been on an absolute tear lately and we will find out if it can continue tonight! Let's get down to it now!
vs. Match #1; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Derrick Jones [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 16:53 of action, in an actual pretty decent opener between two guys you wouldn't expect, Brian Thompson was able to outlast the rookie Jones in this one and nailed the Roll the Dice to get a win for Chicago. This loss just adds to the major woes of the Las Vegas Blitz, as they have been on a total downfall lately. Thompson looked his best in weeks here and the crowd really responded to him warmly. Good spot to open the show up here.
vs. Match #2; Devin Curtis & Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. X Jack & Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] - After 24:12 of action, in a pre-cursor to the match on the 23rd, X Jack & Devin Curtis both teamed with someone from their respective teams and squared off, but it was Kevin Hart who scored the victory for New York after he forced Cameron Stone to submit to the sharpshooter. Hart & Stone were the only ones into the match going on now and Jack/Curtis wanted to get a piece of each other. Kevin Hart really shined in this one and he looked like a million dollars.
- Afterward, Curtis made a comment towards Jack and it set him off. The two started brawling on the outside and all over the ring. The two partners had to restrain their teammates before all hell broke loose.
vs. Match #3; Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 20:09 of action, Jason Williams got the upset win for Los Angeles here, in front of their home crowd, after he rolled Duan up and got the three count. These two were pretty even for the entire match, but Williams quickly caught Sanchez off guard and that's how he got yet another win for the Most Wanted. Something was definitely up with Sanchez as he didn't look at his best and Williams was able to capitalize on the slow moving Sanchez this evening.
- Intermission -
- Some more hype for the Hardcore match in New York on the 23rd between Boston's X Jack & New York's own Devin Curtis. That one should be brutal.
vs. Match #4; Marcus Jones [Boston Brawlers] vs. Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] - After 12:30 of action, in what maybe was the weakest match of the night here in Los Angeles, Sean Shafer rebounded from his recent mishaps and obtained a victory over the lately lowly Marcus Jones after an Augustan Heat. Once again, Jones looked to be in another world and far behind his opponent speed wise in the ring. Shafer really looked like he excelled in the match because of Jones, when in reality neither man was spectacular.
vs. Match #5; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 24:23 of action, these two captains, who have battled numerous times in the past, came together once again and it was Mike Bockwinkel who came out victorious in this encounter after a Bockwinkel Special. At one point of the match, it became very stiff during the match and the crowd really got into it. It is not to say that Bockwinkel controlled a ton of the match because Demon saw himself have a lot of offensive time. It was just that Bockwinkel was the better man tonight.
vs. Match #6; Ace Bennett & Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 27:53 of action, in our main event for the evening, the Most Wanted ONCE AGAIN pulled out a win here after Ace Bennett drilled the captain of the Warriors, Assassin, with the Syracuse Drop. This marks LyNN's first loss of the year, but he wrestled like he should have one. He was on fire, but the combination of two of the best in the world today was just too much for him to handle by himself. Bennett & Dragon have always been an unstoppable force when they teamed together and tonight, in Los Angeles, was no different.
- We return to the great city of Los Angeles on the 31st on July and see you folks next on the 23rd, in New York, for the Hardcore Showdown!

This is getting freaking awesome. I can't wait for the hardcore match. I wasn't in the match so I don't care about the loss. I'm just annoyed that the Brawlers haven't been winning lately. Hopefully I can be traded to a better team next year.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! New York, NY 07/23/10 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 5,093
Hello all and welcome to another great edition of NWL live! I return home here to New York City and it is safe to say that I am excited for tonight's show! As you know, the hardcore match between X Jack & Devin Curtis will take place, as well as 5 more great matches for you folks! Will we see the turn around of the New York Crush tonight? Let's find out ladies and gentleman!
vs. Match #1; Evan Pagano [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 28:30 of action, the crowd was absolutely buzzing after a helluva opener here in New York! Both men poured their entire heart into the match, but Evan Pagano walked away victorious yet again tonight, after he nailed the Calling on Justice. These two guys have been steady for their teams so far this year and its no wonder they put on a great match. I think the crowd was expecting a Justice victory, but they were greatly mistaken.
- Afterwards, Pagano extended his hand for a shake and Justice refused to accept it. Matt walked off with his head down and Pagano just celebrated in the ring. Justice seemed extremely bitter after this loss.
vs. Match #2; LyNN & Zeke [Chicago Warriors] vs. Marcus Jones & Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] - After 20:05 of action, the Warrior tandem was able to overthrow the Brawler tandem after the near-unstoppable LyNN crushed Marcus Jones with a Springboard Tornado DDT. Stone, being the tag team specialist, looked well in the match, but LyNN and his rookie partner seemed to be too much for Stone & Jones. Zeke actually looked extremely well in the match and definitely came out strong because of his performance in the ring. Good follow up here and the Brawlers have some preparing to do.
vs. Match #3; Drew Parkland [New York Crush] vs. Tyler Black [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 10:54 of action, Tyler Black easily overcame his opponent in front of the oppositions crowd and finished him off with a 450 Splash. Parkland, who has had awhile to rest up and try to get on the right track, remained winless after this one and before the bell rang, Black had full control of the match. At one point, Black was toying with Parkland and the fans, doing everything he could to add insult to injury. An ugly one for New York going into a break.
- Intermission -
- A NWL official came out and warned the crowd that tonight's main event might get a bit ugly. He wanted to make sure that everyone is safe tonight and wants no one to get involved.
vs. Match #4; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 14:56 of action, the captain of the Evolution was handled well by Brian Thompson and Thompson was able to score the victory after a Roll the Dice. This came as a surprise to a few select in the crowd, as every thought Shamrock had the match wrapped up at the 13 minute mark. Thompson has looked great for the past few shows and hopefully, for the Chicago Warriors, he is able to build upon this recent success.
vs. Match #5; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 16:29 of action, the unstoppable force that is the Los Angeles Most Wanted rolled on here in this match, as Red Dragon made some work out of King here and got the win after the Red Dragon Driver. Don't get me wrong, King had some offense in this match, but Red Dragon was just too powerful and has been too hot lately for anyone to take down. The Most Wanted have been just on a roll lately and I wonder who will stop them.
vs. Match #6; HARDCORE MATCH; X Jack [Boston Brawlers] vs. Devin Curtis [New York Crush] - After 34:45 of action, in a brutal match with no time limit, Devin Curtis saw himself score the victory only because his captain, Mike Bockwinkel, got himself involved. Bockwinkel distracted X Jack, who should have had the match, and Curtis caught him off-guard with a monsterous superkick. These two guys really took it to each other and plenty of weapons were involved including chairs, bats, and pipes. Jack was busted open (apparently accidentally) over his right eye, but continued the match. Curtis steals one here for New York and this score is far from settled.
- Afterward, Bockwinkel tried to continue his attack, but Steve Corino chased him off and aided to his teammate as the crowd cheered for Bockwinkel & Curtis, who were walking up the ramp!
- We return to my old stomping grounds next on the 1st of August and see everyone next tomorrow in Hartford! Take it easy!
