April 3rd, 2007 ECW on Sci-Fi: Sneak Peek
Wrestlemania XXIII will go down in ECW history as the start of a new era. The era of Mike Awesome was ended as C.M Punk defeated him in a main event to capture the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Tonight C.M Punk will celebrate the grandest victory of his career. However, Mike Awesome will be lurking to secure his ECW Heavyweight Championship rematch. What will Mike Awesome have to say about his loss at Wrestlemania XXIII? Can C.M Punk celebrate his victory in peace?
The leader of the Disciples of Apocalypse was revealed at Wrestlemania XXIII. His identity is one that everyone knows. His name is Raven! Raven’s shocking return has sparked an interest across the world. What will Raven have to say about the Disciples of Apocalypse failing to recapture the ECW Tag Team Championships? Will A New Breed have anything to say about the shocking debut of Raven?
Kurt Angle proved to the world that he can indeed be hardcore. Although Kurt Angle will not be in action tonight, one would assume that his presence will be felt. On the other hand, will Tommy Dreamer be medically cleared to even show up after the brutal beating he took?
Justin Credible shocked the world when he captured the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Justin Credible will have a lot to say tonight as he celebrates his new found glory in a way that only Justin Credible can do.
Also, catch The Pitbulls taking on Test and Matt Morgan, Dastardly Amish take on The Basham Brothers and Rob Van Dam compete against Super Crazy. Also, ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan will be in action when he takes on an opponent chosen by John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.

Alright, I haven't really followed this diary but i'll give it a shot. It's pretty unrealistic that Wrestlemania would get three matches on the card, not including the Money in the Bank match, but oh well. I couldn't imagine an ECW superstar winning the Money in the Bank but i'm all for a Justin Credible push. The match was well-written and i'm itching to see what you do with Credible. I can't imagine the tag team match being on a Wrestlemania card. Although, i'm a big Sylvester Turkay mark and i'm glad you're pushing him. Kurt Angle/Tommy Dreamer was definitely my favorite match out of the show. It was written really well and I hope that's the end of Dreamer's career; he's ruining his own legacy. The only downfall is that I doubt WWE would put on a match as violent as you described it. The ECW title match seemed very.. odd. C.M Punk and Mike Awesome share completely different styles and I don't see how they could work together. Although Mike Awesome is my favorite ECW champion of all time, I was glad to see Punk end his reign. Good show overall, I just didn't feel like ECW should contribute that many matches to Wrestlemania.

April 3rd, 2007 The Punk Era
“Let the bodies hit the floor…”
ECW on Sci-Fi opens up with the traditional music video that features all of the federation’s top stars. Pyrotechnics explode at the entrance ramp and all around the arena as Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s program. ECW on Sci-Fi has been the highest rated program in Sci-Fi history for forty-two straight weeks and history will continue tonight with the start of a new era. C.M Punk will celebrate his ECW Heavyweight Championship victory, The Pitbulls taking on Test and Matt Morgan, Dastardly Amish taking on The Basham Brothers, Rob Van Dam taking on Super Crazy and C.W Anderson taking on an opponent handpicked by John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.
The music of Mike Awesome hits and he makes his entrance to the ring. He walks quickly and with anger spelled out on his face. He grabs a microphone and storms into the ring, slowly beginning to talk.
“Wrestlemania XXIII was destined to be my night. Faith had told me that I would walk down that entrance ramp on April 3rd, 2007 with my ECW Heavyweight Championship around my waist. Tonight was going to be my night! Wrestlemania XXIII was going to be my night! Yet somehow I walked out tonight with gold not around my waist; yet, it is around C.M Punk’s waist. This is a vicious crime that I will not stand for! I was robber at Wrestlemania and I have become broken tonight. But let me inform you all of something very essential, I am hungry and I am hungry for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. I will fight any battle I have to endure and I will destroy anyone who wants to stand in my way. C.M Punk I hope you treasure every night you have with my ECW Heavyweight Championship. Eventually, I will be in this very ring facing off against you for my championship again. I will defeat you on that night and I will merely thank you for keeping the belt warm! Your victory on Sunday was a fluke and I know it, you know it and everyone in attendance knows it!”
Mike Awesome is interrupted by the music of C.M Punk! The crowd goes wild as the new ECW Heavyweight Champion makes his way towards the ring, wielding a microphone.
“Mike Awesome: former ECW Heavyweight Champion. That sure has a ring to it. Michael what you fail to realize that tonight is not about you. Tonight is about me because if you like it or not, I am the ECW Heavyweight Championship. But Mike, don’t worry. You can have your rematch whenever you want because it doesn’t matter if we wrestle tonight, tomorrow, in one week or in one year. No matter when the battle is, I will defeat you! I am the Straight-Edge Extremist who proved at Wrestlemania XXIII that I have what it takes to be ECW Heavyweight Champion. Last Sunday I proved that I am straight-edge and I am better than you!”
Mike Awesome viciously tosses his microphone to the ground and begins to go irate. He starts to yell about how Punk is a dead man, but he cannot be heard clearly. Mike Awesome than exits the ring and grabs a chair, smashing it against the announcer’s table and the steel steps. His irrational behavior causes John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield to make his way to the ring, actually causing Mr. Layfield to run down to ringside.
“Mike, settle down!” Mike Awesome viciously throws the chair against the steel steps and still looks like he may explode at any second.
“Mike, listen to me. If you like it or not you are no longer ECW Heavyweight Champion. You lost fair and square at Wrestlemania and obviously you are not happy about that. But for god sakes be a man about it! If you crave that ECW Heavyweight Championship this much than go out and win it again! You have an ECW Heavyweight Championship rematch clause that will be used at your digression. So grow up and stop acting like an infant! As for you C.M Punk, I want you to go to the back and just relax. Tonight will be your night and later on we will be having a ceremony for your great victory.”
C.M Punk responds “Thank you Mr. Layfield, I’ll see you later. And Punk, I’ll see you eventually in that ring again and history repeats itself!”
C.M Punk returns to the back as the fans chant his name. Mike Awesome storms away angrily resulting in John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield left alone at ringside. HE takes the opportunity to take control of the program.
“Ladies and gentleman I apologize for Mike Awesome’s behavior. Now that he has been dealt with I can continue with business. Over the last few weeks ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan has tried to challenge my authority and dub me as racist. I am a fair man, but I have been challenged too much. Muhammad Hassan I am a fair man and I am going to announce your opponent for your match right now so you can be prepared. You people may not support this man and you may not even like him; however, I strongly belief that for at least tonight you can rally behind him for greater good. Tonight, Muhammad Hassan I have chosen C.W Anderson as your opponent. Good luck because you will need it!”
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Joey Styles and Tazz recap the chaotic scene that opened the program and apologize for the irrational behavior of Mike Awesome. They hype tonight’s main event contest that will pit ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan again C.W Anderson who is representing John Layfield.
Opening Contest: Dastardly Amish – Roadkill & Danny Doring versus The Basham Brothers – Doug Bashan & Danny Basham
This match really proved that Roadkill is getting over with the crowd as there were slight “Roadkill” chants. The Basham Brothers are pretty over as a team as the crowd responded to them with heavy boos. Roadkill was actually looking extremely impressive and was more athletic than usual. There are rumors Roadkill’s job is on the line so that could explain his impressive performance. The Basham Brothers used their experience to chop down the big man who eventually made a hot tag to Danny Doring. Danny Doring seemed pretty lazy in the ring, but still had a decent showing. The end of the match came when Roadkill shocked Danny Doring with The Amish Bomb and secured the victory.
Winners: Dastardly Amish – Roadkill & Danny Doring The match ended at 5:32 C+
Roadkill is very excited with his victory and the crowd seems to be pleased. Danny Doring smirks over the victory and gives Roadkill a thumb up before leaving the ring, leaving Roadkill to celebrate alone.
In the back Rhyno is shown in front of an ECW banner. “I strongly believe that Rhyno should have been the one facing Mike Awesome at Wrestlemania XXIII. I strongly believe that C.M Punk would not be ECW Heavyweight Champion, but this is not about my personal vendetta. The Big Show is the one who prevented me from walking into Wrestlemania as a challenger for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. The Big Show is the one who sidelined me with an injury for a month. The Big Show is the one I am out to destroy and he is the one that I will destroy. Big Show, I am going to make your life a living hell when I make you feel the Gore! Gore! Gore!”
In the back we catch Danny Doring walking down a corridor and he is stopped by an interviewer. He is asked about his disapproval of Roadkill as of late and he responds “I love Roadkill; we got a long way back. However, Danny Doring is the true star of Dastardly Amish and it is time the people realize that. Danny Doring can be the next Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin, but with Roadkill by my side it will never happen. Roadkill, this isn’t personal but it is time for me to be making the big bucks.”
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Joey Styles and Tazz hype the main event that will pit ‘The Anti’ Chris Muhammad Hassan against C.W Anderson who is representing John Layfield.
The Disciples of Apocalypse are tied against a wall and Raven is standing behind them with a bull rope. He brutally whips the trio causing them to nearly scream. Raven slowly begins to speak “You embarrassed me at Wrestlemania and that is an unforgivable sin. You three are full of sin as greed has engulfed your body. I had involved myself in that match as a grateful act of kindness, but you failed! You became greedy and had to be showman. You lost your chance at the ECW Tag Team Championships because of your sinful ways! It is time for you to be freed of your sins. So it is written and so it shall come to pass. Quote the Raven, nevermore.”
Joey Styles brings up Raven’s past in ECW and the success he has had in promotions around the world. Joey Styles admits he thought he knew Raven extremely well but says this is a side of Raven he has never seen. The Full Blooded Italians than make their way to ringside as they are sitting in on commentary for this next battle.
Match Two: The Pitbulls – Jamie Noble & Kid Kash w/ Pitbull Kelly versus Matt Morgan & Test
The Pitbulls are surprisingly over with the crowd which could lead them to a push in the future. Test and Matt Morgan are able to connect with the crowd as heels, but they still have to grow before they came become more over; however, they are starting to blend better as a tag team. The Full Blooded Italians use their time on commentary to put down the Pitbulls and it seems them will be starting a feud with them. It is great to note that Little Guido was gold on commentary which could mean more microphone time for the stable in the future. The match itself was better than the previous tag match, but it was not outstanding. Matt Morgan and Test really overpower their smaller opponents, but the Pitbulls put up one hell of a fight. Jamie Noble came out looking great after he nailed an impressive Shooting Star Press from the top rope to the outside, landing Test. The end of the match came when Trinity distracted Kid Kash, allowing Test to nail him with a Big Boot to the back of the head and pick up the victory.
Winners: Matt Morgan and Test The match ended at 6:11 via pinfall B
Test and Matt Morgan celebrate their victory as the Full Blooded Italians hit the ring. They taunt The Pitbulls and The Pitbulls retaliate by confront the group. They two stables have a verbal confrontation before The Pitbulls eventually just leave the ring, to fed up to deal with the Full Blooded Italians.
The Big Show is shown walking down a corridor and is very angry. An assumed Road Agent confronts Big Show for a chat, but receives a stiff punch to the face knocking him out cold. The Big Show continues to walk dominantly down the hall.
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Mike Awesome is shown pacing around a lockeroom. He is viciously punching lockers and it appears that his knuckles are bleeding. He screams out of anger and is proving to be a major threat to C.M Punk’s ECW Heavyweight Championship.
Justin Credible is sitting on a staircase somewhere in the arena, his Money in the Bank Briefcase sitting on his lap. “Last Sunday I did the unthinkable. I climbed the staircase of success and won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I secured my opportunity of winning a world championship. However, it is not the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship I am after. I simply want my ECW Heavyweight Championship back. I am making my way back to the top because I am just incredible.”
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield is in his office speaking to C.W Anderson. A knock is heard on the door and he yells come in. We do not see who walks in, but John quickly says “What do you want?”
A video airs hyping, the dominate being that is, Mike Knox. As usual, the vicious attack Nick Dinsmore received in recapped and his date of return is still unknown.
Match Three: Mike Knox versus Sabu
Sabu is very over with the crowd and Mike Knox is really starting to get over as a heel. It is crazy to think how much Mike Knox has involved since his debut in ECW as Pitbull Kelly’s crazy boyfriend. The match is better than you would assume. Mike Knox is really mastering his craft and Sabu kept the crowd lively with his signature, death defying moves. Sabu almost injured himself greatly when he botched a Suicide Dive and landed on his head. The end of the match came quickly after that when Mike Knox finished him off the Knox Out for three.
Winner: Mike Knox The match ended at 5:45 via pinfall B
Mike Knox celebrates his victory and the crowd shows their disapproval with boos.
A New Breed is standing in the back. As usual Ariel holds the ECW Tag Team Championships around her shoulders and Sylvester Terkay stands dominantly in the background as Elijah Burke speaks. “In three weeks we will make ECW history when we become the longest reigning ECW Tag Team Champions of all time; however, this should come as no surprised. We have fought every challenger that has come in our way and we will continue to do so. At Wrestlemania XXIII we proved on the grandest stage of them all why we are ECW Tag Team Champions and why we are the best tag team today! We are A New Breed, the new standard of extremists that cannot be stopped. We offer anyone to try and defeat us because you will fail. We are simply unstoppable.
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Still images are shown of Tommy Dreamer and depict the brutal beating he received from Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania XXIII. Joey Styles tells the viewing audience that Tommy Dreamer is nursing injuries from his match against Kurt Angle and is not in attendance tonight; however, he will be back next week! A graphic than appears of Tommy Dreamer with a caption that reads ‘Live: Next Week!”
‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan is standing in front of an ECW banner holding a wooden cross upside down. “Tonight I will defeat not only C.W Anderson but in the sense John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield. You will all see why the Anti-Christ way of living is superior and you will all be blessed when I take you with me.”
Rob Van Dam versus Super Crazy
This was easily the match of the night. These two ECW Alumni gave it their all and proved why they deserve their spot on the ECW roster. Rob Van Dam is extremely over with the crowd and it is beyond me when the ECW Heavyweight Championship is not around his waist. Although he is selling injuries from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, he still performs at a great level. Super Crazy was also impresses as he fights to make sure he does not end up on the chopping block. Super Crazy wowed the crowd when he nailed planted Rob Van Dam with a Sit-down Powerbomb from the top rope; however, he could not manage to win the match. The end of the match came when Rob Van Dam and Super Crazy where exchanging blows on the top rope. Rob Van Dam pushed Super Crazy off and managed to connect with a Five Star Frog Splash to win the match!
Winner: Rob Van Dam The match ended at 7:41 via pinfall A
In the back the misused duo of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, collectively Southern Miracle, are trying to conduct an interview; however, screaming and loud noises can be heard from down the hall. The camera turns and we see Rhyno and the Big Show brawling it out. Big Show is on the receiving end of a huge chair shot, but in the end he manages to put Rhyno through a table, that has foods and drinks on it, with a Chokeslam. Big Show walks away with blood dripping down his head and EMTS checking on Rhyno.
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Joey Styles and Tazz once again hype the main event that will pit Muhammad Hassan against C.W Anderson. They then recap the brutal brawl between Rhyno and Big Show. C.M Punk’s music hits and he makes his way out for his ECW Heavyweight Championship Victory Celebration.
C.M Punk hits the ring with the ECW Heavyweight Championship around his waist. The fans are extremely pleased to see their Straight-Edge Hero and he is ridiculously over. Confetti falls from the rafters and C.M Punk is really looking like a mega star. Balloons viciously fall from above as well and Punk lets them settle before he begins to talk.
“As you already know, at Wrestlemania XXIII I did the unthinkable and I ended the Awesome Era! Tonight, I can gladly greet you to a new era, the Punk Era! As your ECW Heavyweight Champion I will fight every contender and I will never back down from a fight. I am here to be the one you resort to, to fight away the villains. I am here to be a hero amongst heroes, a man amongst men and a champion amongst champions. I will fight every battle with dedication for you people because you people made C.M Punk who he is today. Without you people, I would be nobody and I owe my life to you people!”
Suddenly, Mike Awesome rushed out from the crowd and he viciously nails C.M Punk with a chair. Awesome mounts the fallen saint and begins to pound away at him. Security quickly hurries to the ring and gets the maniac, Mike Awesome, off of C.M Punk and tries to restrain him to the back.
<<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Mick Foley is sitting in a dark room with minute lighting. He has his arms covered in barbwire and he is bleeding from his head. “Terry Funk, last week you felt the skull of your old worn-out body fall flat on the cold hard concrete. Funker, I said it once and I will say it again. I will not stop until you take your final breath of life unless you face me in the ring with your career on the line!”
Main Event: ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan versus C.W Anderson
Muhammad Hassan is extremely over as a heel. The boos he received were so thunderous that Joey Styles and Tazz could barely talk over them. C.W Anderson, although a heel himself, got over as a face tonight simply because of John Layfield’s endorsement. Both men are proving their dominance tonight and that they deserve their spot in the main event. Muhammad Hassan controlled most of the match so when C.W Anderson did manage to score in some offense it was better received. Anderson nearly won the match after he nailed his spine splitting Spinebuster, but Muhammad Hassan was capable of getting his foot on the rope. Eventually Muhammad Hassan was getting ready to finish C.W Anderson off with The Calling; however, he was suddenly tackled to the ground by an outside interferer.
Winner: ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan The match ended at 6:23 via disqualification B
The mysterious attacker was revealed to be Kurt Angle and the crowd went insane. Kurt Angle delivered stiff blows to Hassan but received blows just as powerful. Kurt Angle went for the Angle Slam but Hassan slide out of it and escapes up the entrance ramp. Kurt Angle went to help C.W Anderson up, but Anderson denies assistances and regains his heel heat as well. Kurt Angle stands tall in the ring as the now profound savior from Muhammad Hassan. Note: The show is a lot longer than usual; however, it is also more detailed. Something you could have noticed is that matches were shorter and more segments were placed in the show. I will most likely be alternating weekly from more match based shows to more storyline enhancing shows.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 3rd April 2007...Great promo by Mike Awesome to open up the show after WrestleMania 23 went down. Hoping to see CM Punk and Mike Awesome have a rematch at Backlash or something, that'd be great. Did like Awesome almost going beserk. Unsure how John Bradshaw Layfield fit into the promo like this, but it did span to involve JBL's feud with Muhammad Hassan. The Basham Brothers and Roadkill and Danny Doring was a pretty filler way to open up, but Roadkill and Doring picking up the win is fine. What I think would be great would by for you to involve ECW X-Stream show results, even if it's just list results, it'd help us know who didn't make the actual show and instead worked but not on Sci-Fi Network. It'd get more people involved for sure. Raven and Disciples of the Apocalypse is intriguing. Just hope that DOA do not become Raven's mere bitches. Another tag team match? Hmm, good win for Matt Morgan and Test, and I am glad that Jamie Noble and Kid Kash didn't just get murdered out there. They were accompanied by 'Pitbull Kelly'? Hahaha. Justin Credible promo...It was okay. Mike Knox? Forgot about that guy, he killed off Nick Dinsmore, the bastard. Good win for Knox over Sabu, as Sabu hasn't done a lot to note, really. No problem here, could see a mini feud between the two or at least some future involvement with each other. Fantastic win for Rob Van Dam over Super Crazy, liked it. Rhyno and Big Show brawling is cool. More involvement with Awesome and CM Punk is great, shows Awesome as a really desperate animal. I like it. Mick Foley's segment was lethal. Muhammad Hassan beating CW Anderson was likely. Anderson I can't see any main event potential out still. Kurt Angle attacking Hassan interests me. A decent show overall.

Really sorry for not replying lately, have been busy. Anyways, I'm really happy that CM Punk won the ECW title. I'm also happy that I was right about Raven being DOA's mentor. Not sure about Credible winning MITB, but I guess it works. I'm all for a Doring push, as he was pretty awesome. Glad that Angle has turned face against Hassan, that feud shall be epic. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this better from now on. Keep it up.

ECW News and Notes: April 4th, 2007
ECW on Sci-FI drew an outstanding domestic rating of 4.3.
Kurt Angle is expected to feud with Muhammad Hassan leading into the summer.
Mike Awesome will continue with this ‘crazy’ gimmick until his feud with C.M Punk is over.
Raven is said to have a lot of control over his character and it will be interesting to see where he takes it.
The idea to have C.W Anderson defend John Layfield in a match against John Layfield was not well received backstage. C.W Anderson is popular in the lockeroom but people though it was a horrible decision.
Monty Brown is once again expected to get called up to the main roster soon.
Rhyno and the Big Show should finish feuding by the end of this month.

Mania Review - Completely shocked that Justin Credible went over, but I love it. - Glad to see Burke/Terkay retain as well. I hope there is a push eventually for Burke in singles action. - Kurt Angle had to go over Tommy Dreamer so that was the right decision. I’m happy to see something different (Dreamer getting pushed). - The baby face ending for Wrestle Mania with Punk going over wasn’t surprising but it seemed like a pretty solid contest.
ECW on Sci-Fi - Liked the interaction between Punk/Awesome, was a good segment in my opinion. - So much for Doring turning on Roadkill? I still think he will, though. - Well, Doring think he is a top star is kind of pushing it but that was the point. Comes across as having a big ego after that promo. - Raven is awesome. Enough Said. - Morgan/Test don’t really interest me. The same can be said for Mike Knox - RVD/Crazy is a really good match-up. Seemed like a good match, as well. - Foley is awesome. Funk/Foley when it happens should be INTENSE. - Angle turning baby face apparently is alright I guess. Would’ve liked a Angle/Punk feud but oh well.

Congrats on getting to 20 pages, I've said many times this is HOF it deffo deseves in, big opening segment could have condensed it but it was a good read, tag match seemed bland, nice to see Doring push although establishing himself as a face, good Raven promo, Test and Morgan seem like a good team just hope Pitbulls get a win back, Knox push I love it! loving that Crazy had a good match, Awsome and Punk where used too much in my opinion, Funk/Foley is still awsome too much blood maybe esp with Awsome bleeding knuckles just seems pointless, Main event was ok not a big fan of either man being in the main event but I must say you built up both well, not sure about Angle being in there I'll have to wait to see him explain himself first, could you reply to WSX?, damn good show as allways

Guilty As Charged
Mike Awesome versus C.M Punk ECW Heavyweight Championship
September 26, 2006 was a night Mike Awesome will never forget. In a shocking turn of events Mike Awesome won the ECW Heavyweight Championship in controversial fashion. Mike Awesome, under the leadership of Paul Heyman, would than form The Dangerous Alliance. The Dangerous Alliance was a group with the passion to take over World Wrestling Entertainment and was also a group that C.M Punk turned to for guidance. After the war of The Dangerous Alliance and World Wrestling Entertainment ended, C.M Punk fell away from the group and discovered who he truly was. C.M Punk emerged as a fan favorite and earned himself the right to battle Mike Awesome at Wrestlemania XXIII for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. C.M Punk found himself victorious and Mike Awesome snapped. Mike Awesome became insane and brutal with his attacks on C.M Punk being insane. Over the last few weeks, Mike Awesome has found himself arrested and suspended from ECW on Sci-Fi but none of this could stop the monster. Tonight, at Guilty as Charged Mike Awesome will finally have his ECW Heavyweight Championship rematch and he is looking to recapture the championship that now sits on C.M Punk’s waist.
A New Breed – Elijah Burke, Sylvester Terkay & Monty Brown w/ Ariel versus Disciples of Apocalypse – ‘Killdozer’ Brian Lee, Kevin Thorne & Raven w/ Daffney ECW Tag Team Championship
For the first time in ECW on Sci-Fi history, the ECW Tag Team Championships will be defended in a six man tag match. A New Breed busted on the scene near the end of 2006 and quickly captured the ECW Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble from the Disciples of Apocalypse. The Disciples of Apocalypse turned progressive when they turned to Raven for help in recapturing the ECW Tag Team Championships. Under Raven’s guidance the Disciples of Apocalypse have become a more brutal force than ever. When A New Breed found themselves outnumbered, they too found it appropriate to turn progressive. A New Breed found an alliance in Monty Brown who debuted in April as the fourth member of A New Breed. Monty Brown quickly made a huge impact and has proven why he deserves to be a part of A New Breed. After over six months this rivalry finally comes to an end once and for all when A New Breed defends against the Disciples of Apocalypse for the final time. It is winner takes all, but who will walk out victorious?
Mick Foley versus Terry Funk Retirement Match
For decades Terry Funk and Mick Foley have fought across the globe, sacrificing their bodies by doing battle in nearly every type of match imaginable. For decades they fought as friends and for respect; however, tonight that is not the case. For close to eight months, the wrestling world has witnessed the birth of a new Mick Foley and his one goal is to end Terry Funk’s career once and for all. For months Mick Foley challenged Terry Funk to a match with Terry Funk’s career on the line, but Funk continued to deny. Brutal attacks haunted Terry Funk as Mick Foley would stop at nothing to get Terry Funk to accept. Finally, Terry Funk would accept in May after months and months of torment; however, Terry Funk’s career would not be the only one on the line. Mick Foley and Terry Funk do battle for the last time and the loser will retire from the wrestling world for good. This match will see blood, sweat and tears, but who will walk out with their career still alive?
Kurt Angle versus ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan
Muhammad Hassan arrive in ECW at the Royal Rumble and quickly became one of the most dominate stars wrestling has ever seen. Preaching as the Anti-Christ and speaking of the better life, Muhammad Hassan has become a thorn in the side of everyone, especially John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield. ECW’s General Manager, however, was not capable of taking down ‘The Anti-Christ’ solo. Enter, Kurt Angle. The proud American once again decided to rise to defend his great nation against Muhammad Hassan. For the last few weeks Muhammad Hassan has heated up this match with cruel altercations. During once edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, Muhammad Hassan burned the American Flag! Kurt Angle has become the hero ECW has been in desperate need of; however, can he save the federation?
Mike Knox versus Nick Dinsmore Last Man Standing
Mike Knox nearly ended Nick Dinsmore career when he nearly crushed his throat with a chair. For months Nick Dinsmore sat at home and tried to recuperate while Mike Knox paved his way as the greatest monster to ever enter the wrestling ring. Mike Knox continually taunted Nick Dinsmore, thinking that he would never be able to step into the ring again. In late April Nick Dinsmore shocked the world when he returned to ECW on Sci-Fi, steel chair in hand and revenge on his mind. Nick Dinsmore has returned with a vendetta, to make Mike Knox understand the pain and suffering he endured. In May Nick Dinsmore challenged Mike Knox to a match at Guilty as Charged but it was no ordinary match, Dinsmore wants Knox to suffer in a Last Man Standing match. Can Dinsmore overcome the monster Mike Knox? Or is Nick Dinsmore biting off more than he can chew?
Rhyno versus Rob Van Dam
When Rhyno returned to ECW he had one thing on his mind, the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Rhyno dominated through the roster and got his title shot; however, he was never able to pull off the huge victory. Rob Van Dam and Rhyno would have countless matches for the ECW Heavyweight Championship including a huge three way dance at Survivor Series 2006. After that match both men went their separate ways, until recently. Rhyno is once again on a rampage to win the ECW Heavyweight Championship; however, Rob Van Dam has placed himself in the way as a roadblock. Rob Van Dam feels he deserves a shot at the ECW Heavyweight Championship and has decided that defeating Rhyno would prove his worthiness. These two men have found it difficult to restrain their fists from one another over the last few weeks, but tonight it will be a fully fledged war! Can Rob Van Dam overcome Rhyno? Or will he fall to the Gore?
Roadkill versus Danny Doring Lumberjack Match
Danny Doring and Roadkill, for years, have been best friends and tag team partners. Recently, Danny Doring has had a change of heart. Although he loves Roadkill dearly he feels that he has been held back. Danny Doring would abandon his giant buddy during matches and eventually announced his career as a solo competitor. Roadkill and the fans did not take to this idea highly and now these two tag partners are going to do battle against one another. To make sure Danny Doring does not just abandon the match like he has abandoned Roadkill so many times before, lumberjacks will be placed around the ring. However, it is only fitting that the lumberjacks are current ECW Tag Teams. What will happen when best friends become bitter enemies and lumberjacks keep them committed to battle until one friend is fallen?

Extreme Championship Wrestling Presents: Guilty As Charged Live: June 3, 2007! From: The Hammerstein Ballroom
A beautiful display of pyrotechnics rips through the arena as the brutal fans of Extreme Championship Wrestling are shown. Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to Guilty As Charged as the fans chant “ECW!” Joey Styles and Tazz run down tonight’s card which will feature: Mike Awesome versus C.M Punk for the ECW Heavyweight Championship, A New Breed taking on the Disciples of Apocalypse for the ECW Tag Team Championships, Mick Foley versus Terry Funk in a Retirement Match, Kurt Angle versus Muhammad Hassan, Mike Knox versus Nick Dinsmore in a Last Man Standing Match, Rhyno taking on Rob Van Dam and Roadkill facing off against Danny Doring in a Lumberjack Match!
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield makes his triumphant way to the ring to a chorus of boos. The ECW Original loving fans want nothing to do with JBL, but John seems unfazed by their boos and crude chants. He is handed a microphone and steps in the center of the ring as the fans tell him how he sucks a certain male sex organ.
“Welcome to Extreme Championship Wrestling’s Guilty As Charged! Now I know you people do not want to hear me running my mouth about ECW, but the fact of the matter is you have no choice! Your messiah Paul Heyman was fired six months ago and in his absence I have brought this federation to the top. If your beloved Paul Heyman was still in charge of this joint, you would be watching us in a 300 seat Bingo Hall with no name talents. At this time I demand you people rise out of your seats and praise me as your god because you know I am! You should all being thanking me for getting this federation on Pay Per View again, yet you treat me with disrespect. This is disgusting! You people make me sick!”
Suddenly, the original ECW theme music hits and the crowd goes insane. From the crowd emerges Sandman and by his side is Paul Heyman. They celebrate with the fans and take a seat in their box seat section. John Layfield is not pleased to see them and he quickly storms back to the back.
Standing in front of an ECW banner is Danny Doring who begins to speak “Tonight, for the first time and the last time, I will face Roadkill in a Lumberjack match. Roadkill, you need to know this is not personal…this is only business. I wish we could have continued to be partners, but it is time Danny Doring becomes a megastar and Danny Doring cannot become a megastar with you by my side. In just a few moments I am going to go out there in front of the ECW fans who no longer accept me, but they will certainly accept you. ECW is the home of the misfit wrestlers, but I am a superstar. You people boo me because you are jealous and tonight I will give you one more reason to be jealous of ‘Dangerous’ Danny Doring. “
A video package airs highlighting the bitter rivalry of Danny Doring and Roadkill. It all started a few months ago when Danny Doring and Roadkill began a losing streak. It than escalated to Danny Doring abandoning Roadkill at ringside during matches and eventually trying to establish himself as a singles competitor. Roadkill did everything in his power to win back his former tag team partner, but a simple separation quickly became a heated rivalry. Danny Doring began to take nasty and bitter jabs at Roadkill and eventually physically assaulted the big man. Roadkill never wanted to lay a hand on his former partner, but in time he had no choice but to. Now this rivalry will come to an end once and for all. Who was the superior member of Dastardly Amish? Can Danny Doring overcome Roadkill? Or has he bitten off more than he can chew?
Opening Contest: ‘Dangerous’ Danny Doring versus Roadkill Lumberjack Match
The Full Blooded Italians, the Pitbulls, Matt Morgan & Test, the Blue World Order, Southern Miracle and the Basham Brothers are surrounding the ring as the Lumberjacks. Roadkill has slimmed down a lot for his match up and has gotten very over with the crowd. Danny Doring has also brought his body to par and has entered his prime. Danny Doring has gotten over very well as a heel and the fans are really interested in Roadkill giving Danny Doring a beating. Roadkill and Danny Doring actually work very well as opponents and put on a decent match. Roadkill uses his power to toss around Danny Doring and eventually throw him to the outside. The Lumberjacks give Danny a few good punches before throwing him back into the ring. In time Roadkill eventually finds himself of the outside and on the receiving end of some blows from the Lumberjacks. Before Roadkill could be returned to the ring, Danny Doring shocked the world when he dived over the top rope and onto everyone below. Danny Doring is the first one up and he grabs a chair before reentering the ring. Roadkill eventually ends up back in the ring and received a vicious chair shot, busting him open. Roadkill and Danny Doring continue to exchange moves until finally the match come to an end. Roadkill is going for the Amish Bomb, but Roadkill lands on his feet and delivers a nasty low blow and finished Roadkill off with the Bareback for the victory!
Winner: Danny Doring The match ended at 9:34 via pinfall B
Danny Doring celebrates his huge victory as the crowd heavily boos. Danny Doring’s celebration is taking a little too long and this gets the Full Blooded Italians fed up. They storm the ring and chase after Danny Doring, chasing him to the back to the delight of the crowd.
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield is shown in his office and does not seem very pleased. He slams his fist against his desk and goes to storm out of his office, but he is greeted by Mike Awesome who receives a mix reaction. Mike Awesome says “We need to talk” as he pushes John Layfield to sit down on his expensive leather couch. Mike continues “Do you see who is sitting in the crowd right now. Paul Heyman and Sandman are out there along with the other ECW idiots and you are allowing that!? Do you really think that Paul Heyman and the Sandman are just going to sit in their seats all night? Do you really think that Paul Heyman did not bring anyone else but the Sandman? I know Paul Heyman has brought an army to fight us tonight and John, are you really going to let that happen? I have my own agenda to take care of tonight and that is winning the ECW Heavyweight Championship. I suggest you find a way to rid us both of Paul Heyman before I also make this my problem.”
A video package airs and highlights the bitter rivalry between Rhyno and Rob Van Dam. These two men first had problems when Rhyno returned to ECW in 2006 and was gunning for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Rhyno found himself a roadblock though and that roadblock was Rob Van Dam! After the two men were done in 2006 they went in their own directions; however, their courses met again! In May of 2007 Rhyno viciously attacked Rob Van Dam and announced that he will use Rob Van Dam as an example and prove that he deserves a shot at the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Rob Van Dam regained his cool and agreed that beating Rhyno would put him near the top for getting an ECW Heavyweight Championship match. Rob Van Dam then challenged Rhyno to a match, which was accepted. Tonight, these two ECW Alumni face off once again, but who will prevail?
Match Two: Rhyno versus Rob Van Dam
Rhyno has taken the spot of being one of ECW’s top heels and the crowd at the Hammerstein proves that. Rob Van Dam’s ovation nearly blew the roof off and the fans go wild for their superstar. The two men actually put on an outstanding contest and their clash of style worked well. Rhyno’s strength gave Rob Van Dam a beating, but when Rob Van Dam would fight back with his unique arsenal the crowd went insane. It did not take long before they ended up on the outside which pleased the crowd. Rob Van Dam was slammed into the ring steps and dropped on the guardrail. Rhyno then grabbed a chair and smashed it over Rob’s back and followed up by creaming him in the head. Rhyno then tossed Rob Van Dam into the crowd and the two men fought in the audience. They fought up a staircase and entered one of the booth areas of the Hammerstein Ballroom. Rob Van Dam shocked the world when he was able to connect with a Vandaminator on Rhyno. Rob Van Dam than tried to throw Rhyno off the booth, but Rhyno countered that. Rhyno then hit the Gore on Rob Van Dam out of nowhere and the two men went flying down the flight of stairs and falling onto the landing. Rhyno got up and is bleeding as he gashed his head against something. He walked down the remainder of the stairs and grabbed a table, setting it up at the bottom of the stairs. He then climbs back up to the landing and grabs Rob Van Dam. Rhyno is looking to Powerbomb Rob Van Dam down the remaining stairs and through the tables, but Rob Van Dam counters that. Rob hits a high kick to the head and tosses Rhyno through the table! Rob Van Dam than jumped down the staircase and landed a Five Star Frog-Splash on Rhyno for the victory!
Winner: Rob Van Dam The match ended at 14:34 via pinfall A
Rob Van Dam celebrates his huge victory with the fans, but suddenly someone special interrupts Rob Van Dam in his celebration. The man is Balls Mahoney! Everyone is shocked to see Balls and are pleased to see him celebrate with Rob Van Dam. Balls then walks Rob Van Dam up to the booth where Paul Heyman and Sandman are sitting and the crowd goes insane as the ECW Alumni stand tall together.
Mike Awesome is in the back. He is watching a monitor and is furious to see another ECW Alumni in attendance along with Rob Van Dam aligning with his former coworker. Mike Awesome knock down the television with a thunderous kick. He goes off in a fit of fury and starts throwing punches at every object that surrounds him.
‘Dangerous’ Danny Doring is shown leaving the arena in a rental card. I guess he is head off to Superstardom.
Nick Dinsmore is standing in front of an ECW Guilty As Charged banner and begins to speak. “For several months I was sidelined with an injury that many though I would never recover from. Well, let me inform you all of something. I am a fighter and I will never be placed on the injury reserve list ever again. Mike Knox thinks it is fun to hurt people, well so does Nick Dinsmore! I am a wrestling-machine, but tonight a new side of me will emerge. Never before has such a vicious man been unleashed and you, Mike Knox, will regret ever bringing this demon out of me. I am going to hurt you tonight and when I am done they are going to have to scrap your beaten body off the floor because I will be the last man standing!”
Mike Knox is shown walking down a corridor with a chain wrapped around his fist. He is ready for his Last Man Standing Match.
A video package airs and reminds us of the personal rivalry between Nick Dinsmore and Mike Knox. Mike Knox nearly ended Nick Dinsmore’s career when he closed a chair around his throat. For months Mike Knox taunted Nick Dinsmore and explained that he has ended his career. One day, to the shock of the wrestling world, Nick Dinsmore returned to the land of extreme with a vendetta on his mind. Nick Dinsmore has shown Mike Knox that he has not fear of him and has walked step to step with the monster. Tonight they square off in their first encounter since the winter. What will happen when these two monsters are unleashed? Who will be the last man standing.
Match Three: Mike Knox versus Nick Dinsmore Last Man Standing Match
Mike Knox is over as a heel and has really improved since his debut in ECW. Nick Dinsmore is in the best shape of his life and the fans do take to his liking. Mike Knox starts off the match with a wild swing of the chain that is wrapped around his fist. Dinsmore ducks and the two start to wrestle. The match quickly turns into a brawl and they fight corner to corner of the arena. Mike Knox nearly won the match when Nick Dinsmore received the Knox Out on the concrete floor, but Dinsmore recovered before the count of tem. Dinsmore nearly won when he nailed a Piledriver on Mike Knox on the steel steps! Mike Knox was able to get up before a ten count and the match continued. After several more close calls the match would soon come to an end. Nick Dinsmore placed Mike Knox on a table at the top of the entrance ramp. Nick Dinsmore then began to climb the stage, but Mike Knox got off the table and began to climb the stage as well. The two men finally meet on top of the stage and begin to exchange blows. Nick Dinsmore hits a low blow and Mike Knox nearly falls off the stage. Mike Knox is holding on to the stage, but is about to fall off. Dinsmore then shocked the world when he dived off the stage, grabs Mike Knox and nails a Sun-Set Flip Powerbomb off the stage and through the table. The referee starts his ten count and Nick Dinsmore reaches his feet at the count of nine; however, Mike Knox does not stand.
Winner: Nick Dinsmore The match ended at 13:55 via pinfall B
Nick Dinsmore celebrates his victory as we cut to the back.
C.M Punk is shown in his lockeroom and is warming up for his match. He takes a seat on the bench and clenches the ECW Heavyweight Championship. He kisses the belt and then bows his head into his knees.
The Disciples of Apocalypse are standing in the back. Raven begins to talk “Tonight is our destiny. We will fight the greatest war these people have ever seen and when it is all said and done the ECW Tag Team Championships will be back around our waists. A New Breed thinks they are something special; however, they do not realize that I have seen a thousand men walk around just like they do. They are cocky and that makes them weak. I will exploit this weakness and as a unit we will pick them apart. Elijah Burke will fall, Sylvester Terkay will fall and Monty Brown will fall…as we will win the gold once again.”
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield is shown making his way through the hostile crow and is walking towards the booth that Paul Heyman, Sandman, Balls Mahoney and Rob Van Dam are sitting. He eventually reaches their seats and begins to speak.
“Paul Heyman and friends, I come here in peace. However, I have one question for you. Why in the blue hell do you think you are capable of showing up in my house, on my show and wrecking it?”
Paul Heyman responds “Johnny, we are not here to wreck your show. We are simply meeting with old friends and having a good time watching your show. Now, I know you can understand this simple theory: get the hell out of our faces before you grow to regret it.”
John Layfield yells back “You dare threaten me. I will wipe this arena with your sad broken body if you ever speak to me that way again! Because, just as a reminder, last time I checked I am the one who got your ravioli ass fired…that makes me more powerful that you can ever dream of being.”
Paul Heyman responds “Powerful. You want to see powerful? Hey Sandman, show him how powerful he is.”
Sandman grabs his Singapore Cane and takes a vicious swing at John Layfield, cracking him straight in the head. Sandman and his family then stand tall above John Layfield as Paul Heyman says “Yeah Johnny, you really are powerful!”
A New Breed makes their way down a corridor as Monty Brown begins to speak. “Disciples of Apocalypse, you are entering the jungle. You are becoming the pray and A New Breed will take the role of the hunter. But tell me one thing. What are you going to do when you feel the PPPOOOUUUNNNCCCEE? Period!”
A video package airs and highlights the historical feud of the Disciples of Apocalypse and A New Breed. Of course this dates back to late 2006 when A New Breed busted onto the scene and quickly won the ECW Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble from D.O.A. The Disciples would never move on from that lose and they turned to Raven for guidance. Raven taught his family how to recapture the tag titles and tonight they plan on doing so. However, a new breed stands tall with A New Breed. In May Monty Brown debuted in ECW and has quickly proven to be a dominate force. Will Monty Brown be the ultimate roadblock in Raven’s plan? Can the Disciples of Apocalypse win back the ECW Tag Team Championships?
Match Four: A New Breed – Elijah Burke, Sylvester Terkay & Monty Brown w/ Ariel versus Disciples of Apocalypse – ‘Killdozer’ Brian Lee, Kevin Thorne & Raven w/ Daffney ECW Tag Team Championship
This may have been the greatest six man tag match in the history of professional wrestling. Firstly, the ECW crowd has connected extremely well to A New Breed and Monty Brown is ridiculously popular. The Disciples of Apocalypse get a lot of heat from the crowd and Raven draws a shocking amount of heel heat. The match itself was a traditional six man tag for the most part. All six men got a lot of offense in and the battled it out for nearly ten minutes. Eventually, Raven brought in a chair but received a Pounce before the chair could be used! All hell would than break lose for the remainder of the match. One shocking moment saw Sylvester Terkay Powerbomb Brian Lee on the entrance ramp. We also saw Elijah Burke run the guardrails and nail the Elijah Express onto Kevin Thorne. The end of the match came when Raven was looking to go for the Even Flow DDT on Monty Brown. Monty Brown slipped out of the hold and tosses Raven against the ropes, leveling him with the Pounce and winning the match!
Winners & Still ECW Tag Team Champions: A New Breed – Elijah Burke, Sylvester Terkay & Monty Brown w/ Ariel The match ended at 17:34 via pinfall A
A New Breed celebrates their outstanding victory and they have once again proved hwy they are the longest reigning ECW Tag Team Champions in the history of ECW on Sci-Fi. They celebrate their way to the back.
Once again we see Mike Knox and he is shown sitting in a dark area of the arena. He is shouting “ECW is dead! ECW is dead! Straight-Edge is dying! Straight-Edge is dying! Tonight is my night…my night. That championship is my title...my title. No one is going to stop me…me. E…C…W is dead and C.M Punk will soon also be in that grave!”
Mick Foley is standing in front of an ECW Guilty As Charged poster and begins to slowly speak. “Very shortly I am going to do the unthinkable and I hope you can all find a way to forgive me. See, in just a short amount of time I am going to end Terry Funk’s career. I get Goosebumps just thinking about what I am going to do. It is not going to be pretty, but it has to be done! I just hope that you people can accept what is going to happen. Become Missy Foley’s baby boy is here tonight with his good friend barbwire and his cousin thumbtacks and his brother fire. And we are all going to walk together to the graveyard and dance around our favorite grave…Terry Funk’s. BANG! BANG!”
Kurt Angle is shown warming up in a corridor. “I have come to ECW to be your savior once again. ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan is the greatest threat this side of the Pacific and I refuse to watch him destroy this beautiful country. Kurt Angle is your hero and tonight he will destroy the Anti-Christ. I am your hero and tonight you will never forget that again. Oh it’s true…it’s true.”
Justin Credible makes his presence known when he ends up in the ring, holding a microphone and his Money in the Bank Briefcase.
“You all though that good old Justin Credible would miss out of Guilty As Charged. You people underestimated me in the past, but I thought you would have learned. Apparently, I was wrong though! You people still underestimate me and the fact that I did not even make it on this Pay Per View is a disgrace to my name. Therefore, I have decided to add myself to this Pay Per View. I am calling out any punk in the back to a match right now and to prove how confident I am, I am putting my Money in the Bank Briefcase on the line!”
The theme music of C.W Anderson hits and he emerges from the entrance ramp. He enters the ring and just before the match is going to begin, the lights go out! When they come back on Sabu is standing in the center of the ring! The crowd explodes and the match begins.
Match Five: Justin Credible versus Sabu versus C.W Anderson Money in the Bank Briefcase
Justin Credible has truly embedded himself as a true main event competitor once again. Being that Justin Credible is an ECW Original, it is shocking to see how easily he got over as the bad guy. C.W Anderson is also ready to be a main event competitor when the time calls for it. Tonight, C.W Anderson is over as both a heel and face. Sabu, as expected, is ridiculously over and the fans are really pulling for him. The match was actually excellent and the impromptu start of the match got the crowd wild. C.W Anderson nearly won the match early when he nailed a sickening Spinebuster on Justin Credible; however, Sabu broke up the fall. Sabu was able to connect with all his traditional moves including the triple jump moonsault that almost won his the match. Justin Credible showed his outstanding athleticism when he nailed a standing moonsault onto C.W Anderson, which was truly impressive. The end of the match came when C.W Anderson ended up on the top rope. Sabu tosses a chair at his head causing him to fall off the tope rope and crash into the guardrail. Sabu was lining himself up to nail some type of move on Anderson when Credible snuck in from behind and nailed hit with a sickening chair shot, followed by the That’s Incredible for the victory!
Winner & Still the Money in the Bank Briefcase Holder: Justin Credible The match ended at 10:34 via pinfall B+
Justin Credible quickly escapes to the back, with his briefcase in hand, as the crowd gives Sabu a standing ovation for his effort in the match.
‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan is walking down a corridor as he begins to speak. “I have come here once again to bring you to the bright side…the better side. This is not a war against America and a hero is not need to rise; however, Kurt Angle feels it is. Kurt, I do not want to hurt you…but I am going to, for I must show everyone who my side is the better way to travel. The Anti-Christ will prevail and my message will be clear…join me!”
C.M Punk is once again shown in his lockeroom. “Tonight I prove myself as ECW Heavyweight Champion. Tonight, I will make it clear why my victory at Wrestlemania XXIII was no fluke. Tonight, every person watching around the world will understand why C.M Punk is the Straight-Edge Extremist. Tonight, Mike Awesome will fall and his crazy ways will come to a halt. For addiction comes not in a pill, but in competition.” A video package airs hyping Kurt Angle’s math against ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan.
Match Five: Kurt Angle versus ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan
Both men are extremely over and could carry the federation on their backs if it was ever necessary. Muhammad Hassan kept constant control of the match, but Kurt Angle really shined in this one as he outwrestled Muhammad Hassan in every aspect. The match was truly a wrestling clinic and the fans were really into the regular wrestling match. Kurt Angle nailed an Angle Slam off the tope rope and Muhammad Hassan shocked the world when he kicked out of the hold. After a long battle the match finally came to an end when Muhammad Hassan hit The Calling in the center of the ring and pinned Kurt Angle.
Winner: ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan The match ended at 11:13 via pinfall A
Terry Funk is shown wrapping his fist backstage as he is possibly going to wrestle for the last time ever. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer shows up and casually says “Hey Funk, good luck tonight. You need to show Mick Foley why no one messes with the Funker.” Terry Funk responds “Thanks Tommy, I appreciate your kind words, it is going to be a hell of a battle.” Tommy says one more thing before Terry Funk leaves his lockeroom. “Funker, wait. I am not the only one who wanted to wish you luck.” Suddenly, a storm of ECW Alumni including the likes of Paul Heyman, Sandman and Masato Tanaka applaud Terry Funk and wish him the best of luck in his match against Mick Foley.
A video package airs hyping the most talked about match on the card, Terry Funk versus Mick Foley: Career versus Career.
Match Six: Terry Funk versus Mick Foley Retirement Match
The fans seem really emotional for this match and are ready to watch one of their hardcore heroes retire. This match may have been one of the greatest brawls in wrestling history. The match quickly saw weapons get used when Mick Foley started to beat Terry Funk with a chair. Eventually a ladder who enter the match which both contestants took nasty bumps on. The first table spot saw Mick Foley drop a huge elbow on Terry Funk, who was resting on a table, causing both men to fall through it. A baseball bat would eventually enter the match and Mick Foley was nearly knocked out when Terry Funk hit a vicious swing to Mick Foley’s head. Mick Foley would eventually end up going through another table when he was atop a ladder and Terry Funk pushed the ladder down, causing Mick Foley to crash through a table that was resting on the outside of the ring. In time a barbwire 2x4 would enter the match and Terry Funk found himself split wide open after being on the receiving end of the weapon. Mick Foley would than bring thumbtacks into the match. The thumbtacks ended up on a table that saw both men go through when Mick Foley nailed Terry Funk with a Piledriver off the second rope. The end of the match was vicious. A barbwire covered board was placed on top of a table. Mick Foley was on the top rope, but Terry Funk nailed him with the barbwire covered 2x4, causing Foley to get tied up in the ropes. Terry Funk then set the 2x4 on fire and took a wild swing at Foley, Foley ducked and the 2x4 landed on the barbwire board, causing it to catch on fire. Terry Funk climb to the top rope and tired to knock Mick Foley onto the table, however Mick Foley back body dropped Terry Funk off the top rope and caused him to crash through the table! Mick Foley then landed a vicious elbow drop on Terry Funk and the match was over!
Winner: Mick Foley The match ended at 15:13 via pinfall A
After the match the ECW lockeroom quickly entered the arena and soon the ring. Mick Foley slides out of the ring as the extremist gather around and celebrate the career of Terry Funk. The crowd is emotional and heartbroken, but they cheer on their hardcore legend. As the celebration continues Mick Foley grabs a microphone and begins to speak. “Terry Funk, it has been a hell of a ride over the years. I can honestly say that looking back at every battle we ever had, this was the toughest won. I am sorry your career has to come to an end…I love you Terry, for everything you have done for me.”
Mike Awesome is once again seen and he is going crazy! He is in shock of the ceremony that he just witnessed putting an end to the career of Terry Funk/ Mike Awesome wildly storms towards the ring as his moment to shine is coming.
Main Event: Mike Awesome versus C.M Punk ECW Heavyweight Championship
This was one of the greatest ECW Heavyweight Championship matches of all time. C.M Punk’s unorthodox style and Mike Awesome’s hard hitting move set caused a clash of styles; however, the two men connected and putted on a great match. Since a hardcore bloodbath was on before them, this match did not see many hardcore spots. The one hardcore spot saw Mike Awesome deliver The Awesome Bomb through a table, which C.M Punk kicked out of. The two men continued to try and outwrestle one another, but neither man could put one another away. Mike Awesome hit several Awesome Bombs and Awesome Splashes, but failed to get the three. On the other hand, Mike Awesome kicked out of several GTS’. The end of the match finally came when C.M Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice. Mike Awesome tried to escape the cruel submission for quite a few minutes and eventually he was able to pass out, so he had no choice but to tap out! Winner: C.M Punk The match ended at 16:34 via submission A+
C.M Punk is handed his ECW Heavyweight Championship and the crowd is going wild. C.M Punk quickly hops into the audience and celebrates his huge victory with each and every one of them. Guilty As Charged goes off the air with C.M Punk hugging fans, celebrating his victory.
OOC: The idea of this show is to give my diary some closure. I ended all my feuds so if I ever decide to restart this diary, I can start fresh. I will RETURN ALL REPLIES given to this show. Much love guys. I hope I can get back into simming full-time in the future.

ECW Guilty As Charged: Sunday 3rd June 2007...Wow, final show eh? A nice promo to open things up with John Bradshaw Layfield coming out to boos. A heated promo, but Sandman and Paul Heyman coming out eh? Interesting but at least ECW is being regenerated, even after you leave this diary. I cannot see Danny Doring against Roadkill being too good a match, but either way it got over the tag team division in a way. Doring winning makes sense as Doring is more skillful than Roadkill in this lumberjack match. Would of started off with a hotter opener though, if I'm honest. Yeah, like I wouldn't of had Rhyno face Rob Van Dam second, as both are the biggest stars on the ECW brand, and in the filler-match spot on the pay-per-view. Would of preferred it opening up or being later in the card, but great win for RVD as that was logical also. Nick Dinsmore beating Mike Knox is great, glad Dinsmore won but the fans wouldn't of been tied into it I don't think. Nice segment with Raven and the Disciples of the Apocalypse, going into their match with A New Breed and Monty Brown. I would of had Raven and Disciples of the Apocalypse winning the ECW World Tag Team Championships personally, but Monty Brown pinning Raven was unexpected. Great Money in the Bank briefcase defense by Justin Credible over Sabu and CW Anderson too, haven't seen anything to offer in Sabu nor Anderson at all, a future ECW World Heavyweight Championship reign for Credible would be good, but we aren't going to see that. Great win for Muhammad Hassan, though I wish that Kurt Angle had gone over, I just feel it would of been better finishing a different method. Bloody retirement match to finally put the legacy of Terry Funk to rest, just hoping you put Mick Foley's brutal career to a halt aswell. Lastly, great moment for CM Punk to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in ECW's core against Mike Awesome. Great show overall, going to miss this diary but hopefully when you're refreshed you will start a fresh and new one, as this one has lived a lengthy shelflife.

ECW Guilty As Charged 2007 Review/Feedback
- Nice surprise to have Paul Heyman make a appearance with Sandman in the opening moments of the show. - I’m really starting to like the Danny Doring character. - Glad to see Doring win the match against Roadkill as he really needed to get momentum for him. - Solid match with RVD/Rhyno, but would have liked to see Rhyno pick up the win. - Awesome finish to the Dinsmore/Knox match and really happy to see Dinsmore win the match. - Don’t mind burke and company winning. - Fairly obvious that Credible would retain it as I think you have big plans for him if this were to continue at some point down the line. Sabu getting involved was interesting. - Huge win for Hassan over Angle. Like that. - Not surprised that Foley won, considering Funk has retired about 4,000 times. - Punk winning by submission really ends that feud with Awesome in my eyes. - Good job on the PPV.

Cool that this is coming back, I liked this diary. Angle leaving makes sense to short of shift ECW a little bit. Good luck building new stars, it can be tough.

June 5, 2007 The Terry Funk Retirement Show “Let the bodies hit the floor…” ECW on Sci-Fi opens up with the traditional music video that features all of the federation’s top stars. Pyrotechnics explode at the entrance ramp and all around the arena as Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s program. Joey Styles reminds us of the events that unfolded at Guilty As Charged as Tazz runs down the results of the 2007 draft! John “Bradshaw” Layfield has promised that tonight’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi will be one of the most historical events of all time. He has promised that tonight is about two things: forgetting grudges and remembering the legacy of Terry Funk. John Layfield has also promised some ground shattering matches will occur tonight. What does the General Manager of ECW have in store? Mick Foley opens up tonight’s program and the crowd is really against him. He talks about being the man who retired Terry Funk and how proud he is to be able to say that. He talks about how ecstatic he was to hear that he was drafted to Raw because he hates ECW and everything it stands for. He starts bashing the fans before Tommy Dreamer appears. Tommy Dreamers talks about how he idolized Terry Funk and that he can never forgive Mick Foley for retiring his idol. He then challenges Mick Foley to a match tonight so he can give Foley a proper ECW sendoff. Mick Foley accepts the challenge. Tommy Dreamer then adds that the match will be under Extreme Rules! Opening Contest: Mick Foley versus Tommy DreamerExtreme Rules The match was nothing great and a typical televised spot fest. The crowd was really into the match and strongly supported Dreamer. Tommy Dreamer was able to bust Mick Foley open after a brutal chair shot and the crowd loved seeing the blood. Tommy Dreamer was setting up a table in the ring; however, he took too long and Mick Foley connected with a low blow. Tommy Dreamer landed chest first on the table allowing Foley to grab a chair, climb the ropes and nail an elbow drop on Dreamer through the table. Mick Foley was able to pick up the victory. Winner: Mick Foley The match ended at 7:45 BMick Foley celebrated his victory as ECW on Sci-Fi faded to commercial break. <<<<<<Commercial>>>>> ECW returns with Kurt Angle standing in John “Bradshaw” Layfield’s office. John congratulates Kurt on fighting hard against Muhammad Hassan at Guilty As Charged, but admits he was disappointed when he lost. Kurt apologizes, but John says that is not necessary. John says that Kurt Angle has made one of the biggest impacts in ECW and he is saddened to see him departing to Raw. John Layfield than announces that he wants to see Kurt Angle in one last great ECW match. He then announced that tonight’s main event will be Kurt Angle versus Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk in a nontitle match! A video package airs highlighting the career of Terry Funk. “The Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan is shown walking down a dim hallway, bearing his inverted cross. Match Two: Monty Brown w/ Ariel versus C.W Anderson A New Breed’s Monty Brown has been on fire these last couple of months and has gone undefeated. C.W Anderson will be leaving ECW as he has been drafted to Smackdown. Anderson really gives Brown a run for his money and nearly picks up a victory on a few occasions. Monty Brown eventually gains the upper hand after Ariel distracted Anderson. Brown was able to connect with the Pounce and scored a pinfall. Winner: Monty Brown The match ended at 5:56 B+After the match, ECW Tag Team Champions Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay come down to the ring to celebrate with their team member Monty Brown. Suddenly, The World’s Greatest Ta Team, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, appear on stage. They signal that they want the ECW Tag Team Champions! <<<<<<Commercial>>>>> Justin Credible is in the back with his Money in the Bank Briefcase. Justin Credible says that he is the best at what he does and hints that he may cash in his briefcase tonight. A very confusing video airs of Raven and The Disciples of Apocalypse walking in an unknown location. Raven begins preaching that it is time they find their true colors. Match Three: Big Show versus Matt MorganThis was by far not a technical shootout; however, both men work together rather well. This is Big Show’s last match on ECW as he has been drafted to Smackdown. Morgan was really able to get a lot of heat as he clobbered Show. Show did manage to get in his fair share of offense, but Morgan really dominated overall. Morgan shocked everyone when he nailed a Chokeslam on Show; yet, he couldn’t manage to pin him. Show ended up victorious after his Chokeslam. Winner: Big Show The match ended at 4:03 CA video package airs and reminds us that we can catch a Guilty As Charge replay all week long! <<<<<<Commercial>>>>> Danny Doring cuts a promo insulting Roadkill and says he is glad to see him get drafted. He says that he is a new force to be feared and he will soon be ECW Champion. Rhyno is in the back and it makes it clear that nothing can stop him from getting what belongs to him. He challenges C.M Punk to an ECW Heavyweight Championship match and bets that Punk will deny him the opportunity because of fear. Match Four: Sabu versus Awesome Two ECW Originals were pitted against each other in Mike Awesome’s last ever ECW match. Sabu seemed off tonight and thankfully, Mike Awesome held everything together for a decent match. Awesome was on fire and dominated most of this match. Mike Awesome put Sabu away with The Awesome Bomb and the crowd seemed shocked. Winner: Mike Awesome The match ended at 4:45 DJohn “Bradshaw” Layfield is in his office and announces he has a huge announcement to make next week that will forever change the landscape of ECW. <<<<<<Commercial>>>>> Nick Dinsmore is in the back and reminds everyone that he defeated Mike Knox at Guilty As Charged. He continues by saying that he will be the next big thing in professional wrestling. A video package airs highlighting the career of Terry Funk. Match Five: Kurt Angle versus Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk Nontitle Match All three men were perfect tonight and all three may have put on their best performances of the year. Kurt Angle could not have asked for a better send off match. The crowd was extremely pleased with this contest and no wrestling fan could be. The end of the match was a shocker. Rob Van Dam was on the receiving end of a nasty Angle Slam and Kurt Angle followed up by locking in the Angle Lock. C.M Punk came out of nowhere and knocked Angle with a stiff kick, followed by a GTS to score the victory! Winner: C.M Punk The match ended at 10:13 AC.M Punk is handed his ECW Heavyweight Championship and he turns to help Kurt Angle up. Rob Van Dam than stands up and the three men celebrate before we fade to commercial break. <<<<<<Commercial>>>>> The ECW lockeroom, minus Raven, the Disciples of Apocalypse, “The Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan and Mick Foley, is standing in the ring. Terry Funk’s music hits and he is welcomed by a standing ovation. He slowly makes his way to the ring and when he finally enters, he is warmly welcomed by his colleagues. Terry Funk is given a microphone and he delivers a tremendous speech, thanking everyone for their support over the year. John Layfield comments that Terry Funk played a huge role in ECW and he will truly be missed. Tommy Dreamer, with tears in his eyes, hands Terry Funk a beautiful plaque. Suddenly, Mick Foley makes his way out and the crowd gives him a lot of heat. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone. He once again reminds everyone that he is the man that retired Terry Funk. He continues by stating that for decades Terry Funk and he fought over the world and he will never forget a minute of it. Mick Foley then talks about how he idolizes Terry Funk. Mick Foley finishes by thanking Terry Funk and hugs him. ECW goes off the air with the lockeroom celebrating the career of Terry Funk.

Cool this is on page 20, and retirement show is interesting. Heel Foley sounds cool. Glad Foley won as even though he is leaving, he shouldn't be losing to Dreamer. Glad Brown won, I'd be in favor of a big push for him. Show-Morgan was a solid match. Danny Doring + ECW Title mentioned = no thanks. Awesome/Sabu was a nice contest as well. Really surprised Punk won, but Angle doing the job on the way out makes sense. Retirement was well done at the end. Good show as usual, pretty star-studded brand.

I'm so stoked that this is back man, probably one of my favorite diaries of all time. Looks like ECW got the real short end of the stick, but it should be cool to see you build new stars. Foley as a heel is very cool and glad he won over Dreamer. Loving Monty Brown on this, glad you are pushing him hard with a good win over Anderson. Credible with the MITB case is a bit odd, hopefully he doesn't get the title at the moment. Don't like Show over Morgan, but I can deal with it. Wouldn't want either Doring or Rhyno as ECW Champion tbh. Another match where I felt that the guy leaving shouldn't have won the match, hopefully Sabu can get a good push. Nick Dinsmore promo is alright, but a bit of an odd placement in my opinion. A huge win for Punk really solidifies him as a solid ECW Champion, and hopefully a bit of a feud with RVD is in the works. The ending was a nice send off for Funk, but the Foley part was a bit weird to me, wish he would've just stayed heel. Great work man, this is great stuff as always.

Well done getting to 20 pages, I was drawn to this straight away by Funks name being in the title, I do hope this isn't Funks actual retirement as he has had retirement matches for years now, nice opener although I would think you would be wanting to phase out the older roster members, triple threat main event sounds mental, glad CW lost I've voiced my displeasure before with his push maybe stick him as a enforcer role for someone, Credible is pretty awesome as MITB winner, nice to see Morgan in a big match sad he didn't win though but it makes sense, Doring as a championship contender eh no thanks, not sure what to think about Mike/Sabu, love Punk getting the big win in the main event, the ending was nice esp with Mick coming out, could you reply to ROH thanks ,good luck and keep this up.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 5th June 2007...Terry Funk's Retirement Show? Good luck with that, he'll be back on the independent circuit competing in death matches before you reach SummerSlam. Been a long time, old friend. Mick Foley coming out and mocking Terry Funk is nice, and Tommy Dreamer getting up and stepping up against Foley sounds good to me. Great yet short win for Foley against Dreamer in an Extreme Rules opening contest. Didn't really dig the length of the match, personally, it made things seem weaker. Terry Funk wouldn't have enjoyed this so much. John Bradshaw Layfield and Kurt Angle's segment was nice, should be a solid bout between Kurt Angle, CM Punk and Rob Van Dam in a reflection of ECW in 2006. Monty Brown beating CW Anderson is fine, no real problem with that, but the match was too short for Anderson to look good. With a ninety minute time slot, it doesn't look good considering every match is roughly five minutes long. Big Show beating Matt Morgan is fine, that going short is best, considering they wouldn't go well competing with their awkward sizes. Sabu and Mike Awesome, true extremists here, but once again, the time limit was bad. How that got a D is beyond me. For Funk's retirement show, Funk would not be pleased with this show, I'm sorry to say but, this would've gone down a lot better and alternatively. Great win for Punk over Angle and RVD, but it should have gone longer again. Wow, the Disciples of the Apocalypse coming out at the end is nice, trying to get to Terry Funk, Ioved Foley's sudden swerve. Good show, but I'd have done so many things differently for Funk's Retirement show. Your love for five minute matches was a downside of this, I honestly think.

- Terry Funk tribute show should be good. - Dreamer/ Foley will be a great contest. - Don't like that Foley picked up the victory on his way out of ECW. - Fantastic main event! - Cor Von beating the departing Anderson is good, as it pushes the talent that remains. - WGTT/ New Breed will defo be good. - Again, Show winning does nothing, since we won't hear from him again. - Good that Roadkill was drafted. Allows Doring to be pushed harder. - Rhyno challenging Punk? Sounds fun. - Would have preffered the Sabu victory for the reasons I said earlier. - I was surprised, but nor unhappy, that Dinsmore beat Knox. - Glad Punk won the match, despite being the under-dog of sorts compared to Van Dam and Angle. - Glad that Foley isn't too heelish, and that they remain friends. Good ending to a good show.
