WWE Royal Rumble: Sunday 26th January 2007...Alright, I sort of drifted behind on this diary, unfortunately, but now I'm going to try and get back into the swing of things. Great opening contest to start off things with the Hardys beating MNM. I think eight minutes is maybe a tad too short for two fantastic teams like the Hardys and MNM. Hmm, two SmackDown matches in a row I'm unsure about. Seemed pretty filler and unneccessary if honest. Yeah, wasn't too fond of an idea like two heel teams challenging for the ECW World Tag Team Championships. A New Breed picking up the win is interesting, just please don't let the Disciples of the Apocalypse drift away into nothingness. Ariel turned on Kevin Thorne eh? She'll be needing a name change in this case. Muhammad Hassan? Hmm, interesting but I think you should of renamed his character, personally. I mean Hassan got thrown off of UPN and television for having a racist gimmick, a name change could of avoided that. Fantastic win for Mike Awesome over Rob Van Dam to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Please keep the title on him going into WrestleMania 23. Batista beating Ken Kennedy is fine. John Bradshaw Layfield and CM Punk getting ownership of ECW is interesting, like that Punk is seemingly playing the face role now. Umaga winning the WWE Championship was suprising. Doubt he could carry RAW into WrestleMania 23, though. Like tha The Undertaker won the Royal Rumble no matter what. Good show overall, but seven matches...Maybe one or two could of done without.

Well, I'm going to try to get back into this because it is one of the longest running diaries on the board. I like Awesome as champion, but I would've preferred RVD win it at the Rumble. The Angle/Dreamer feud is pretty good, hopefully Foley and Funk get involved soon. I like the pushes you are giving to CW Anderson and CM Punk, hopefully JBL doesn't fire Anderson too. Seems weird seeing JBL as a face, but I don't know how long he has been face, I see him turning heel soon. I like Muhammad Hassan as the Anti Christ and it makes quite a lot of sense. A New Breed as tag champs is awesome as Burke finally gets belt. Hopefully he gets a singles run in the future. Keep this up man.

February 6th, 2007 A God has Arrived
The theme song of John ‘Bradshaw” Layfield begins to play as his infamous white stretch limousine pulls into the arena. He steps out and is warmly welcomed by the crowd. As he walks down the entrance ramp beautiful pyrotechnics explode to the admiration of the children. Balloons and confetti fall from the rafters in celebration of John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’s new ownership of Extreme Championship Wrestling. Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to the program as John finally enters the ring.
“The Wrestling God is now the owner of Extreme Championship Wrestling. I have to say, over the years I have had a lot of great business opportunities which has led to my great wealth; however, this is by far the greatest opportunity of my life. Words can not express how thankful and joyful I am to be the proud owner of this company. Tonight is going to be a great celebration as the ECW Tag Team Championship and the ECW Heavyweight Championship will be on the line! Tonight is going to be a night everyone remembers as this is the first ever John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield Fan Appreciation Night!”
The crowd is extremely pleased as they chant for John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.
“A New Breed, who won the ECW Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble, will be defending them against Southern Miracle! Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade have proven to be great talents who will stick with ECW through the good times and bad so they deserve the greatest opportunity of their careers. Also, Mike Awesome will be facing the biggest challenge of his professional career as he defends the ECW Heavyweight Championship against –“
Suddenly, the music of ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan begins to play and the crowd heavily boos him. He wears a beautifully crafted white rob and carries a cross that is upside-down. He enters the ring and begins to talk. “John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, you call yourself the Wrestling God. How could you disgrace yourself like that? Don’t you understand the evil that is God? And to put yourself in a similar category as him is ludicrous. I am ashamed to know that the man controlling this company would discredit himself so severely. John, there is only one way to correct this horror and that is to let me face Mike Awesome tonight for the ECW Heavyweight Championship.”
“Who in the blue hell do you think you are? You come out here and demand to get something you do not deserve. This is John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’s Fan Appreciation Night! This is not amateur night at the karaoke center where every hack feels like they can be somebody important. Over my dead body would I ever, and I mean ever, think about giving you that ECW Heavyweight Championship match. However, tonight you will have a match and it will be against Sabu! And as for Mike Awesome you will be defending your ECW Heavyweight Championship against C.M Punk!”
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield leaves the ring as Muhammad Hassan stands there, disappointed.

Opening Contest: Nick Dinsmore versus Mike Knox Wrestling Challenge
This match was decent and showcased both men abilities. The crowd, however, was not to interested in the contest as obscure chants of “Boring” ran through the arena. I am sure management will not be pleased with that. The end of the match came after a lot of back and forth action sent Mike Knox to the outside. Nick Dinsmore than went to the outside but Mike Knox surprised him with a shot to the head with a steel chair causing a disqualification.
Winner: Nick Dinsmore The match ended at 5:04 via disqualification C-
Mike Knox continued his assault with the steel chair and Nick Dinsmore really sold them well. Mike Knox received a lot of heat for this as he posed over a bloody Nick Dinsmore body.
In the back Terry Funk is shown arriving to the arena and the crowd goes crazy as they chant “Funk!”
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Match Two: The Disciples of Apocalypse – ‘Killdozer’ Brian Lee & Kevin Thorne w/ Daffney versus Mikey Mondo & Nicky Nemeth
Mikey Mondo & Nicky Nemeth are not introduced to the crowd and are currently members of Ohio Valley Wrestling. For those of you who missed the Royal Rumble, Ariel turned on D.O.A and is currently a valet for A New Breed. Thorne and Lee did not seem pleased as they quickly destroyed Mondo and Nemeth and put them away with their respective finishers.
Winners: The Disciples of Apocalypse – ‘Killdozer’ Brian Lee & Kevin Throne w/ Daffney The match ended at 2:03 via pinfall D
Daffney is handed a microphone after the match and says “The gold will soon return to our waists and Ariel will understand why you do not exit the darkness. A New Breed beware as darkness is coming to engulf you.”
In the back The Big Show is walking and from behind Rhyno attacks him with a trashcan! The Big Show falls as Rhyno unloads a huge assault on Big Show. Security and Road Agents try to break up the mess but Rhyno can not be held back. He finally stops when blood begins to drop from the head of the Big Show as he yells “Show, this war is not over!”
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield is sitting in his office when there is a knock at the door and it suddenly swings open. C.W Anderson storms into John Layfield‘s office as the door quickly slams behind him.
Joey Styles and Tazz remind us that Wrestlemania is less than two months away. A video than airs hyping the mega event and the crowd seems to really enjoy it.
Terry Funk makes his way to the ring and he is carrying a 2x4 covered in barbwire. “Mick Foley says he is a nice man. Well, Terry Funk isn’t! I know my days in this ring are numbered and it is time that the name Terry Funk means something again. Mick Foley, I want your blood and I want you to be the example that everyone remembers. Come out here right now and face me like a man!”
The tune of Mick Foley does not erupt through the arena; instead Justin Credible makes his way out. “Terry Funk, the Hardcore Legend. Let me tell you something, you mean nothing to each and every one of these people. You don’t deserve a match against Mick Foley because you would be wasting the time of a real talent. How about you do us all a favor and get the hell out of this ring and never come back!”
“Now you listen up little boy. I was around kickin’ ass long before you were born and if you don’t shut that ungrateful mouth, I will be kickin’ ass long after you’re around too. If you so dare enter this ring, you will understand why Terry Funk is “The Hardcore Legend’”
Suddenly, from behind Mick Foley slides into the ring and takes down Terry Funk, unloading left and rights onto the legend. Mick Foley picks up the 2x4 covered in barbwire and rips apart Terry Funk as the crowd boos heavily. Mick Foley goes to the outside and is reaching for a table when suddenly, Rob Van Dam’s music hits and he rushes to the ring. Justin Credible quickly follows him and tries to stop him. Rob Van Dam has a chair and he nails Mick Foley hard with it and follows by taking down Justin Credible. Rob Van Dam helps Terry Funk to the back as Justin Credible and Mick Foley slowly get up. Mick Foley is not pleased with Just Credible.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Kurt Angle is in the back. “Tommy Dreamer you robbed me of the opportunity that was winning the Royal Rumble match. I swear that I can not forgive you for that. When I get my hands on you again I am going to break your freakin’ ankle right off! You will understand why you don’t screw with Kurt freakin’ Angle!”
C.M Punk is warming up against his huge match against Mike Awesome for the ECW Heavyweight Championship.
Match Three: ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan versus Sabu
Hassan is really over as a heel in this one and the crowd is going crazy for Sabu. The match is a lot of back and forth action and the two men work excellent together. Hassan has completely changed his wrestling style and he now uses a lot of power moves that look sickening. The end of the match came when Sabu was on the top rope and Hassan shook the ropes, causing Sabu to get hung up. Muhammad Hassan than climbs to the second rope and nailed a stiff ddt. Hassan picked Sabu up and leveled him with The Calling (an inverted twist of fate) for the victory.
Winner: ‘The Anti-Christ’ Muhammad Hassan The match ended at 9:04 via pinfall A
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
C.W Anderson is shown leaving John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’s office and he looks extremely angry. He runs into the Big Show and the two men have an awkward stare down.
Mike Awesome is shown talking to The Basham Brothers backstage.
Match Four: A New Breed – Sylvester Terkay & Elijah Burke w/ Ariel versus Southern Miracle – Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade ECW Tag Team Championship
A New Breed is coming out red hot of an ECW Tag Team Championship match victory last Sunday. Southern Miracle has not been in tag team action since January 2nd, 2007 when they faced A New Breed and The Full Blooded Italians in a number one contenders match. The two teams actually work extremely well together, but the crowd could not get into Southern Miracle. The end of the match came rather quickly as Elijah Burke nearly decapitates Lance Cade with the Elijah Express for victory.
Winners & Still ECW Tag Team Champions: A New Breed – Sylvester Terkay & Elijah Burke w/ Ariel The match ended at 5:45 via pinfall B
The Disciples of Apocalypse charge the ring after the match and start to brawl with A New Breed. The most notable spot saw Daffney tackle Ariel to the ground. Security quickly broke the trios up.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Tommy Dreamer and Kurt Angle are shown brawling in a parking lot and neither man is getting an advantage.
Main Event: Mike Awesome versus C.M Punk ECW Heavyweight Championship
This match was a long, hard fought battle and the crowd ate up every second of it. C.M Punk is incredibly over as a face and this is certainly going to shake up his future in the company. C.M Punk nearly shocked the world when Mike Awesome was seconds away from tapping out to the Anaconda Vice, but he was able to grab the rope. C.M Punk took a nasty bump when Mike Awesome nailed The Awesome Bomb through the announce table. The end of the match came when C.M Punk had Mike Awesome up for the GTS, but Awesome countered out of the hold and sent Punk into the ropes. As Punk bounces back he received a huge big boot which leveled him out. Mike Awesome climbed the top rope and nailed The Awesome Splash for the victory.
Winner: Mike Awesome The match ended at 14:45 via pinfall A+
We quickly cut back to the parking lot where Kurt Angle has Tommy Dreamer locked in the ankle lock screaming in pain!

Excellent opening segment with JBL making two title matches and denying Hassan the title match. Punk/Awesome and Southern Miracle/A New Breed will both be amazing! Once again, I don't really like Dinsmore, but to end the Wrestling Challenge with a DQ will probably set up a feud. Woah, got some blood there! Expected squash for the DOA, but good to see some OVW talent being used! Rhyno/Show feud is starting to heat up and I love the intense Rhyno segment man. Ah, good segment involving Credible/Funk/Foley/RVD and thank god RVD came in for the save! Excellent man! Very nice match between Hassan/Sabu here. Good to see Hassan over as a heel also and pick up a pretty big victory! Happy to see A New Breed retain definitely, I am hoping for a long reign for them man! Good aftermath also! Wow, not surprised to see Awesome retain, but surprised to see the match was that good. Excellent way to end the dub with Angle having Dreamer in the ankle lock! Another excellent show from you man!

Nice show. JBL's first night as owner went well. Sort of sad that Punk didn't win the belt from Awesome, but I guess Punk isn't ready yet. The Dreamer/Angle feud continues to get intense. I think it would be cool to have an Angle/Dreamer/Funk/Foley match at Wrestlemania. Muhammad Hassan getting the win over Sabu is good, hopefully his push continues to the point that JBL is forced to give him a title shot. I would consider bringing back the ECW Television Championship for guys like Justin Credible and Dinsmore and all the midcard guys to hold. Good luck with this man.

JBL to open the show this should be good. JBL is face? Hassan rocks. Hassan vs Sabu and Awesome vs CM Punk both look cool. Awesome and Hassan to win imo. Dinsmore vs Knox... Eww. Not bothered who won there really. Suppose im glad Knox used the chair as it give shim a bit of heel heat. FUNK! Lol. Im blad the disciples of apocalypse picked up the win there. Obvious squash, fair enough. Rhino got Show! Im not too sure what this is about to be honest... Funk/Justin/Foley segment is cool. DONT SCREW WITH KURT ANGLE! Hassan winning is good, I always loved Hassan as a brilliant heel. Im quite glad the new breed went over Southern Miracle. New Breed FTW. Im glad Awesome defended the title succesfully, wrong time for Punk to get the belt. Angle owning Dreamer as ECW goes off air is fine. Overall a packed show, there really is alot of talent on ECW. Is this 1 or 2 hours because If that was a 1 hour show then dude, its massive. Good ECW though

-Fan appreciation night is interesting from JBL -Hassan being back is sick and I pray for an ECW Title run from him -Dinsmore winning is fine again although Knox/Dinsmore doesn't interest me -DOA winning is solid -Wonder that CW is doing in JBL's office -A Foley/Credible alliance is interesting, glad RVD helped Funk though -Angle/Dreamer should be intense -The Calling finisher is great, glad the match got an A and love that Hassan won -Southern Miracle is a great name, but glad Burke & Terkay won -Fantastic main event, would've loved that match in real life. Thank god Punk put on a classic showing and that was just a great ending
Great show, love this diary, HOF it please

I liked the opening with JBL, and Hassan interupting him is great. Seemed like a decent opening contest, and I wonder if Dinsmore is going to miss ring-time because of the attack. Glad to see the DOA rebounding from their loss at the Rumble. Liked the Foley/Funk thing. RVD making the same was pretty cool too. Nice to see that New Breed retained the tag belts, since they just won them two days prior. I don't have a problem with Awesome keeping the ECW title, but it would have been awesome (no pun intended) to have Punk win the belt, even though it wasn't a PPV match or anything. Good ending with the show ending with Angle having Dreamer in the Ankle Lock.

Great way to start off JBL's reign as GM. I hope you give Hassan a full push to the top to take on on Awesome for the title. The teams you have started are great as Brian Lee can play any character it seems so he was a good addition to Kevin Thorn aswell as Daffney. Hopefully they get their rematch for the titles soon. The way you have Hassan booked hopefully DOES lead to atleast a title match at No Way Out. Punk in the title match for the night against Awesome is great and they had one hell of a contest and the ending was great. Nice way to end the show with Angle being intense with Dreamer in the Ankle Lock. I'll continue following.

ECW News and Notes: February 7th, 2007
ECW on Sci-Fi skyrocketed in the ratings as the event drew a 4.3 John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield taking over the company and the two title matches could explain the high rating. Officials hope the ratings remain this high.
C.M Punk is being praised heavily for his impressive work against Mike Awesome. Kurt Angle was originally rumored to win the ECW Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania, but the title could end up on C.M Punk’s waist at the event.
C.W Anderson is expected to get a mega push as well and there is a possibility he may feud with John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.
Speaking of Layfield, he is expected to turn heel within the next couple of months.
Wrestlemania is expected to be the Big Show’s last night as a member of Extreme Championship Wrestling.
Vince McMahon is planning to have the yearly draft after Backlash.

February 13th, 2007 ECW on Sci-Fi: Sneak Peek
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’s Fan Appreciation Night saw a lot of great action and mishaps take place. The show ended with Tommy Dreamer nearly getting his ankle torn off with an Ankle Lock, at the hand of Kurt Angle. Earlier in the night, Mick Foley and Justin Credible found themselves in a brawl against Rob Van Dam and Terry Funk. John Layfield decided there was only one thing to do. Make the biggest match in ECW history! Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and Justin Credible will team up to face against Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk and Rob Van Dam!
Also, C.W Anderson made a mysterious appearance in the office of John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield. C.W Anderson announced earlier in the week that the two men had a meeting and that the details behind the meeting will be revealed tonight!
Rhyno will also be facing off against the Big Show in a match that will shake the foundation of ECW forever!

February 13th, 2007 Blood is Drawn
“Let the bodies hit the floor…”
ECW on Sci-Fi opens up with the traditional music video that features all of the federation’s top stars. Pyrotechnics explode at the entrance ramp and all around the arena as Joey Styles and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s program. ECW on Sci-Fi has been the highest rated program in Sci-Fi history and history will continue tonight with two huge main events. Six man warfare will breakout as Terry Funk, Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer team up to face off against Kurt Angle, Terry Funk and Justin Credible! Also, Rhyno will take on Big Show in a match that will shake the foundation of ECW forever! C.W Anderson will also reveal the details of the conversation John Layfield and him had last week.
The lights dim as the now familiar music of The Anti-Christ hits. He walks out and in front of the masses he holds a cross upside down. He drops to one knee and fire erupts behind him. Muhammad Hassan is heavily booed as he makes his way and finally reaches the ring. Muhammad Hassan is handed a microphone and waits for the crowd to die down before speaking.
“Last week you watched Sabu try to stop something that is inevitable. Sabu tried to stop my movement and he, in the end, failed. Sabu fell to this mat and I covered him one…two…three! Yet, do not let this confuse you. I am a gentleman. I do not want to hurt anyone. All I want is for you all to see that I am good and the lord you have been praying to your whole life is evil. Jesus Christ is an evil man and he has corrupted your mind with sick thoughts of heaven and hell. He has warned of an Anti-Christ and you have presumed that this Anti-Christ, that I, would be an evil man. Did you ever stop to think that Jesus Christ is the evil man and that I am your true savior? I want to guide you all too internal happiness and your resistance will only make the process difficult. I will hurt anyone that stands in my way not for m y own enjoyable, but because I have too. I am the Anti-Christ and I am here to save you!”
Suddenly, the Blue World Order hits the stage as Al Snow and Stevie Richards stand tall at the entrance. Stevie Richards begins to speak “Muhammad Hassan you fail to realize one simple thing. The dominance you wish to achieve will never happen. You can not create a new world order and you can not convert us, help us or destroy us! Muhammad Hassan what you fail to realize is we’re taking over!”
Al Snow and Stevie Richards charge the ring and are greeted with punches from Hassan. The crowd chants for our protagonists but they can not stop such a dominate force. Hassan levels Al Snow with a Weapon of Mass Destruction, F-5, and knocks Stevie Richards out with The Calling, Inverted Twist of Fate. Muhammad Hassan grabs the microphone 0nce more and states “Now may you all know that the Anti-Christ is your savior and unstoppable.”

Joey Styles and Tazz recap the destruction Muhammad Hassan inflected on Al Snow and Stevie Richards, better known as the Blue World Order.
Opening Contest: Nick Dinsmore versus Mike Knox Extreme Rules
Last week Mike Knox stepped up to the Wrestling Challenge and Nick Dinsmore won by disqualification. After the match Nick Dinsmore was left a bloody mess as Mike Knox viciously attacked Nick Dinsmore after the final bell. Nick Dinsmore has requested this match to get his revenge and to permanently hurt Mike Knox. Nick Dinsmore is selling his injuries he ‘received’ last week so Mike Knox controls most of the match. Mike Knox actually proves to the audience how much he was improved the last few months as he perfectly executes his moves. Nick Dinsmore is cut open with a steel chair to the wound he received last week. The end of the match came when Nick Dinsmore levels Mike Knox with a chair and tries to lock in the Guillotine Choke. Mike Knox places his foot on the ropes and the hold is broken. As both men get to their feet Mike Knox nails Nick Dinsmore with a low blow, that the referee does not see and levels him with a Knox Out, Reverse Fisherman Brainbuster, for the victory.
Mike Knox The match ended at 9:08 via pinfall C+
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield is sitting in his office with C.M Punk. John Layfield tells C.M Punk “I am proud of the performance you had against Mike Awesome last week. You have proven that you are worthy to be facing for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. I have given you this week off to heal up so you will be ready for action next week. I want you to keep impressing me and you will be headlining Wrestlemania in the ECW Heavyweight Championship match!”
A graphic is shown hyping Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and Justin Credible versus Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam which is tonight’s main event.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
The Disciples of Apocalypse are shown walking down a long corridor. They reach the end and a mysterious figure is sitting on a chair that is perched high off the ground. Daffney speaks “Master, we need your help –“
Match Two: Elijah Burke w/ Sylvester Terkay & Ariel versus Sabu
Over the years the masses have hung on to Sabu’s wonder years of the 90s. Many have doubted his abilities to perform great matches in the year 2009, but tonight he proved them all wrong. Sabu and Elijah Burke put on one of the best matches this year and it will sadly go on unremembered. Elijah Burke and Sabu has amazing chemistry and each man made the other look like a million bucks. After a ton of back and forth action, the end of the match came when Sabu was on the top rope. Sylvester Terkay snuck behind him and pushes him off the top rope and causing him to land crotch first on the ropes. Elijah Burke grabs Sabu and plants him to the ground with a ddt before nearly beheading him with the Elijah Express for the victory.
Winner: Elijah Burke The match ended at 8:11 via pinfall A
The ECW Tag Team Champions recuperate in the center of the ring when suddenly The Pitbulls appear on stage. Kid Kash begins to speak with excitement in his voice “We are coming for your ECW Tag Team Championships and we are no longer alone!” Kelly Kelly sneaks into the ring and aligns herself behind both Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke before giving both of them low blows! The crowd is going nuts for Kelly Kelly’s return as Ariel takes her to the ground. Jamie Noble and Kid Kash storm the ring and start exchanging punches with Terkay and Burke as Kelly Kelly gains the upper hand against Ariel. Eventually, A New Breed fleas the ring as The Pitbulls stands tall!
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
A graphic is shown hyping Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and Justin Credible versus Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam which is tonight’s main event.
C.W Anderson is standing backstage in front of an ECW banner. “This week everyone has been talking about one thing: what did John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield and C.W Anderson talk about? You people are no good nosey bastards. The conversation that I had was private and all you need to know is C.W Anderson is going straight to the top and all the old ECW hacks that are running around better understand that this is my time!”
Sandman is suddenly standing next to C.W Anderson with a Singapore Cane in hand. Sandman smirks at Anderson before whacking him viciously with his Cane. The two men start brawling as security breaks the two men up as Sandman screams “Don’t forget your roots!”
Match Three: The Big Show versus Rhyno
This is their first one on one encounter since their brutal Extreme Rules match a few weeks back. Rhyno has been looking to get revenge for the horrid defeat he suffered that night. The two men exchange powerful shots and put on a stellar match that gets the crowd pumped. Eventually Big Show begins to gain the upper hand and this frustrates Rhyno. Rhyno slides to the outside, gets a chair and levels Big Show with it!
Winner: The Big Show The match ended at 5:07 via disqualification B
After the match Rhyno continues to feed Big Show nasty chair shots until Big Show is resting in a pool of his own blood. Rhyno goes to the outside once again and finds a table. He slides the table into the ring and places it in the corner. As Big Show slowly gets up he receives a Gore which sends him through the table. Rhyno once again beats him with the chair before grabbing a microphone. “Show, I will not stop this violence until you are out of ECW forever!”
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Mike Awesome is in the back with the Basham Brothers. They are still celebrating because of Mike Awesome’s victory last week and the champion is obviously not looking to compete tonight. Mike Awesome does speak briefly as he says “No one is ever going to stop me because I am simply Awesome!”
The Full Blooded Italians are shown storming into John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’s office. The trio is yelling about how they deserve to be ECW Tag Team Champions. John Layfield silences them and yells “Get out of my office before you’re fired. I make the matches around here and when I think you deserve a shot you will get it. I have more important business to deal with anyway!”
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
The Anti-Christ is shown walking down a corridor and stops before Southern Miracle, Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade. “I hope you were watching earlier in the program” he says “let that be a lesson for all of you to not stand before and resist the Anti-Christ!”
Main Event: Mick Foley, Kurt Angle & Justin Credible versus Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk & Rob Van Dam Six Man Warfare
Six great talents graced the ring in what quickly ended up being a giant brawl. Kurt Angle and Tommy Dreamer ended up brawling it out on the outside after only a few minutes of action and they fought up the entrance ramp. Mick Foley and Terry Funk also quickly ended up on the outside as they began to brawl around ringside. Rob Van Dam and Justin Credible managed to stay inside the ring and these two men put on a terrific match. Tommy Dreamer planted Kurt Angle with a Death Valley Driver on the entrance ramp and began to apply the Ankle Lock on Kurt Angle! Mick Foley tried to save his ally but Terry Funk prevented him from doing so. Terry Funk busted open Mick Foley the hard way with stiff punches. Mick Foley eventually nailed a low blow and went to aid Kurt Angle. Tommy Dreamer greeted Mick Foley with hard punches himself, but eventually Mick and Kurt double teamed Dreamer. Terry Funk would make the save for Tommy Dreamer as he pulled out a 2x4 covered in barbwire from underneath the ring and nailed both Kurt Angle and Mick Foley violently. In the ring Justin Credible and Rob Van Dam continue to put on a great wrestling match which came to an end when Rob Van Dam missed the Vandaminator and received a stiff chair shot to the head. Justin Credible than put Rob Van Dam away with the That’s Incredible for the victory!
Winners: Mick Foley, Kurt Angle & Justin Credible The match ended at 11:45 via pinfall A
After the match all six men continued to brawl and it seemed like blood was flying everywhere. All six men eventually ended up back in the ring, bleeding and swinging weapons. The match is over but the war is far from ever ending.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield makes his way out to the ring as the brawl from the main event has ended. He begins to speak with great passion. “They used to call Extreme Championship Wrestling the house of the misfit wrestlers. I have slowly realized that Extreme Championship Wrestling in the year 2007 still has the same stigma it did ten years ago. That is now all going to change! Firstly, I would like to announce that because of his actions earlier in the evening, Sandman has been fired! I didn’t want things to have to end this way, but there are no other options. Extreme Championship Wrestling is falling apart in front of our eyes and I will not watch potential money go to waste! Things are going to change and they will be drastic. Moreover, I feel the need to address two other things. Firstly, The Anti-Christ Muhammad Hassan! Hassan, you think you are going to walk into my federation and prance around like you own it? You are absolutely crazy for thinking you could do so! Next week I am putting you in a handicap match against the Blue World Order! Secondly, the Six Man Warfare match that you witnessed just minutes ago made me realize that the violence is breeding the mayhem. I can not risk my top talents getting injured because of ruthless violence! To stop the violence I am suspending anyone who I feel is a threat to this company. This is also an appropriate time to announce that next week Mike Awesome will defend his ECW Heavyweight Championship against C.W Anderson!”

I really dug the opening promo with Hassan, the gimmick seems a bit extreme but it could work. Hassan looking like a monster is awesome after beating up the BWO. Hopefully he gets a title push. Nice win for Knox, but I prefer Dinsmore myself. I like how JBL has made CM Punk his chosen one. Nice win for Burke, surprised how much Sabu has slid lately. A Pitbulls/Burke and Terkay feud should be good. Hopefully Burke and Terkay keep the titles though. I liked the Anderson/Sandman segment and I can see Anderson going places. The Rhyno/Show match and aftermath sounded really intense and that is a very good feud. Two pretty interesting segments with Awesome and FBI. Nice win for Foley, Angle and Credible. Sounded like an awesome match. Surprised that Sandman got fired, looks like JBL will be playing more of a tweener role in this. Anderson getting a title shot is interesting to say the least. Keep this up man, its going great.

I hope Hassan quickly moves in to the ECW Championship scene, with that Anti-Christ gimmick it could work. Glad to see Dinsmore take his first loss as I'm not the biggest fan for undefeated gimmicks unless the guy is monster like (Brock Lesnar or Samoa Joe) Happy to see Sandman being fired if I read it correctly, it's quite late, hehe. But the Original ECW guys leaving and new guys being brought in will be good for JBL's vision of ECW. Credible hanging around with Angle and Foley is awesome.

Sounds like a solid way to close the evening with that 6-man tag. Hassan opening segment was pretty intense man, glad to see him make a mockery out of the already mock-worthy BWO. Hassan seems like a pretty sick dude, but I am buying what he is preaching. Good concept with an extreme rules match between these two and happy to see Knox go over as, once again, I do not like Dinsmore. Definitely Hassan is with the Disciples....well, that's my guess. Him or Raven! Burke over Sabu in such a good match is great man. The Pitbulls with Kelly is pretty good! Ah man, Sandman with some caning action on CW! Rhyno getting DQ'ed is lame, but it definitely extends the feud. Show getting destroyed is absolutely insane, but believable. Excellently written segment! Damn, the heels got the victory here, but Credible over RVD with the That's Incredible is pretty cool. WOAH! SANDMAN FIRED? Anderson working with JBL was kinda predictable. Hopefully he doesn't take the belt next week or I'll be pissed!

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 13th February 2007...Alright, let's get back into things with this. Missed last week's edition. Liked the heat that Muhammad Hassan got as the Anti-Christ and a feud between Hassan and Sabu would be awesome, and please make it a long and brutal, violent feud. That'd be some good stuff right there. Meh, could of gone without the Blue World Order arriving, personally. Killed of the brutality and seriousness of Hassan's promo, and Hassan needed the seriousness to get him over in this gimmick. Mike Knox beating Nick Dinsmore? Hmm, not a fan of that whatsoever. Kills Nick some momentum and is Knox a face now? Please make him more than a big friendly giant, like all fan favourite bigmen are. Elijah Burke beatng Sabu is fine, but Sabu really needed that win if he's to feud with Muhammad Hassan. Liked the Pitbulls arriving there. Hmm, angry Rhyno is fun, beating the crap out of Big Show and all. Grand six-man tag team main event, and loving Kurt Angle, Mick Foley and Justin Credible as a faction it seems. Brutal match. Hmm, John Bradshaw Layfield firing Sandman is okay as he sucked here, anyways. Handicap match is pretty meh to me with the bWo and Hassan. Mike Awesome defending the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against CW Anderson should be good, but nothing too special. Decent show overall.

Glad to see this kept up one of my favourite non-sign ups in a long time, I now like this Anti-Christ thing maybe abit too much build up but is pretty awsome now, Punk going for the title was a huge step in his career although I thought he was heel, lol at Hassan being booked against BWO as a threat he'll demolish them wish Steve Richards was playing a bigger part he still has talent and was kinda used in the ME in the old ECW, Anderson going for gold next week is a meh I never really thought he was ME worthy, mind repling to WSX? Good luck and keep this up
