Does anyone else come up with names for wrestler's signature moves that reflect their name, persona/gimmick?
Like Shawn Michaels' diving elbow drop. I think the most fitting name for it would be the Heartbreaker (since he hits the opponent's heart most of the time).
Before Jim Ross began calling Triple H's spinebuster the double A spinebuster, i thought it should be called the Game Over.
Undertaker's Old school - the name doesn't really fit the move, this may sound silly, but what about the Funeral March since he walks on the ropes?
Batista's spinebuster - i couldn't come up with a name for that - any suggestions?

My favorite newly-unnamed move is The Crippler Crossface. Michael Cole is so terrified of calling it a crossface he now just refers to it as "that counter" when Shawn Michaels uses it.
And I dunno if DJ Gabriel's moves have names yet but I just call them "Claudio Castagnoli #1" and "Claudio Castagnoli #2" respectively.

Melina's inside crescent split legdrop: Splitsville.
Big Show's Cobra Clutch backbreaker: The Big Sleep.
Back when Carlito used the Overdrive, I always thought it should've been called the Apple-Polisher.

The most annoying was Undertaker's gogoplata, which had no name for about a year then went through two or three names in as many weeks.
I kinda think giving too many signature moves names sounds quite hokey.
Seeing as you mentioned Taker's Old School, does anyone remember how exactly that got the name? I know it was during the American Bad Ass days, but I don't remember how it ever got to the point where he'd do it and fans would shout "OLD SCHOOL!" Was it just a case of commentators saying "Undertaker's going old school here" or did Taker himself shout it out one time?

I miss the "Edge O'Matic". I only recall that being acknowledged by name at, I think, Survivor Series 2000 by Jerry Lawler, and probably a few times after that.

The Downward Spiral, then he started to use it less and it was called an inverted takedown. The Buzz Killer, which changed to The Edge-Cution which is now just an impaler DDT. The Figure 4 Edgelock which was then changed to The Edgeucator and now is called something else.

Yeah. I liked the "Buzz Killer" name for the DDT.

Cena's FU should be renamed the "Poopy Press."

I always thought that having a name for all of your moves that you do often seemed a bit tacky. But since you asked:
That neckbreaker that Orton used to do out of the canadian beckbreaker position, I thought it would be cool to call that "Destiny Calls" or "Destiny Calling"
Edge's Spear coulb be called the "Critical Aclaim".
Carlito shouldv'e stayed with "Backcracker" instead of "Backstabber."
They need to start referring to Shelton's spinning counter kick as the dragon whip again.

It changed when he was supposed to be a heel or some crap like that.

TBH The Backcracker sounds like a chiropracter's finisher.
A wise man once said that Taker's Dragon Sleeper was the Taker Care of Business, his takedown thing was the Graveyard Shift, Steiner's takedown thing was the STD- Steiner takedown

I was watching an old tape with an early 2001 Raw on it last night and 'Taker himself yelled out "old school" during the match against Haku. He often said it during matches at the time, and I guess it caught on with fans soon after. So, my guess is that he started it as a throwback to the Undertaker of years past. While watching the match, I thought it sounded corny and the promo he gave afterward about the sight of blood turning him on made me dislike the ABA 'Taker even more (looking back now).
