The scene opens and hours have past and KD along his new administration in WFWF have just inked a deal where he will be able to wrestle for their promotion. All around the room, there are smiles, handshakes and total agreement with the new addition of KD to the WFWF roster and wrestling family. Shortly after KD finalizes all of the necessary paper work, he and his limo driver head downstairs and back to KD’s limo. KD’s attorneys have to fly out of town on some other business so they take a cab back to the airport. KD and his limo driver strap themselves in and take off to the nearest hub for a nice cold beer.
On the way there, KD asks, talking to his limo driver, “Hey Jeff, what did you think about the WFWF and the team there?”
Jeff, keeping his eyes on the road ahead then says in a way of encouragement, “Hey man, I this could really be something you will be able to run with for the long run.”
“Yah think,” asks and eager KD.
“Yeah; I mean they gave you a nice financial boost, not that you need it, and they seem a hell of a lot more caring about you overall in their organization than BQWA staff do even though will be doing both.”
“Yeah,” says KD with a long yawn. “I guess you got a point there. They did seem a bit friendlier than those BQWA folks, but I guess they don’t know the real KD.”
Jeff then says with a smile and a small laugh, “Yeah, wait until they get a load of you. I can see it now, FIRE THAT BASTARD!!!”
Both Jeff and KD get a huge laugh out of that comment as they arrive at the local bar. They park the limo and both Jeff and KD enter. Most of the people standing around the bar recognize KD and his rather stacked limo driver walks in behind him. Both men and women at the bar cheer as KD enters the bar as news has spread rather quickly about his coming to the WFWF along with the additional news of his upcoming appearance on the house show overseas in the coming weeks. KD and Jeff are then taken up to the sports section where they are seated in a private section. Costas from Costas Now on HBO also is at the sports bar and grill and comes over to see KD. Based on their last appearance together on his show, KD immediately turns his face from laughter and joy to that of caution and frustration.
“And just what the fu*k do you want Costas,” says a visibly uncomfortable KD.
Costas takes a seat at the table as Jeff gives him a look of grave intentions. “Look KD, let me level with ya. I was put up to that crap last week on my show with you by Dolly and she actually paid me well for it.”
“I knew that bit*h had something to do with it,” says KD as he slams his fist on the table. “So why are you here?”
Costas answers and replies as he feels a bit more comfortable around KD, “Well now that I know you won’t knock my head off, I just wanted to do another special with you someday to kind of clear things up for one, sign you to some endorsement deals with me and my show and finally congratulate you on signing with the WFWF.”
KD sits up as the waitress brings him and Jeff a beer with some chips and says, “I’ll take your deal, you just make sure the money is right, because as you know I run a business and any funny business, I’ll kill ya.”
Costas then takes a quick but hard swallow as KD takes notice to his attention level on what KD was saying and the seriousness behind it. Costas was well aware that KD had done time in his early to mid wrestling career and that if he said things like that, he very well could mean them. But as he paid more and more attention to KD, he had to also keep his composure and not let KD totally see him sweat.
Costas then says, “Not a problem there KD. I would never do such a thing as that. Remember who you’re talking to as well KD. I have my own show along with other things as well.”
“Look here Costas,” says KD as he asserts himself and takes in more chips and beer, “I really don’t give a rat’s ass as to who you are or what you stand for. I have things to do and a life to live and YOU, on national fu*king TV, made that life just that much harder and now you come up here wanting me to simply forgive you like that?”
The waitress comes back to KD and Jeff and now brings them a ticket to place their order as they check off what they want and list any specifications. Just as KD finished his order part, then Jeff, KD was right on where he finished.
“Now then, as I was saying, I can forgive Costas, but I will never forget what you did to me even if Dolly had something to do with it. Now, on December 4th, I just found out that I got my first match with some dip sh*t hick from the woods named Centinni…”
Costas then cuts him off and corrects him as he mutters, “Centanni.”
“What the fu*k ever his name is, ain’t important. What is important is that I plan on taking every damn lick of frustration out on this young punk son of a bit*h and when the day comes, I will show the world and the WFWF, that not only do I mean business…”
KD then stands over Costas while pointing his finger in Costas face and finishes his statement with, “but that I am also just what this company has been waiting for and that is the bottom line and you make damn sure Centanni gets the message.”
KD smiles in Costas face, sending Costas back in his seat to avoid KD’s finger from touching his face. Costas then stands to his feet as he was about to leave and says, “I’ll make sure Centanni gets the message and good luck in Hong Kong at your first WFWF house show.”
KD and Jeff sit back in their seats, finish their meals and prepare for the news conference awaiting KD later on that night with one of the very notable news stations. What will KD say? Does the WFWF really know what they have hired in this talent? And what message will KD send at his interview? Find out that and more as we tune in next time to “Introducing the Future: Debut Rp Pt-III.”
