We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Early Bird Doorbuster Cyber Monday deals today.
We understand that some of you who did not get what you want might be upset, but please keep in mind that the tradition of Black Friday and Cyber Monday doorbuster deals is to offer limited quantities of items at blowout prices. I wanted the Home Alone Blu-Ray set from Amazon for $9.99 but I missed out and now it's only available for $34.99. I hold no anger towards Amazon.com and understand it was a limited quantity doorbuster promotion.
Our Cyber Monday Early Bird sale was no different than any other retailer in the country. I think the posts on here angry with us for simply offering you a limited number popular items at blowout prices have been very unfair. We received an unprecedented level of traffic this morning and very popular items sold out instantly. Hundreds of orders were placed in the first 30 minutes of the sale. We even asked YOU to give us input as to which items and prices would go on the sale.
We wish we could offer these prices to everyone but unfortunately we were only able to offer limited quantities for the promotion. Many of the prices were below our cost from Mattel or Jakks.
Let me address a few separate grievances:
High prices on the most popular figures like Sheamus and The Rock. If we did not charge these high prices, we would not have the items in stock and available. eBay'ers would have bought them up instantly and then we would receive phone calls all day asking why we don't have Sheamus available for sale. In addition, no one is complaining about the fact that the rest of Basic 7, Pay Per View 6, or Legends 3 are all priced at or below retail. Right now if you use the WFIGS 10% off code, Legends 3 would cost: Hacksaw $11.69, Vader $12.14, Bulldog $12.14, Pillman $13, Perfect $13.49. Last I checked Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target charge $14.99 for all these figures. It is not our fault that Mattel under-produced The Rock. Mattel should have known that The Rock would be more popular and weighted his figure heavier in the cases. In Pay Per View 6, why did Mattel put 3 Undertaker's in every case and only 2 Sheamus'? Clearly they did not predict the demand. The fact that you cannot find Sheamus or The Rock at retail is because Mattel did not properly weight the case packs. Why would Mattel put the same number of The Rock and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a case???
International Shipping: If you know how we can ship internationally for less money and not put the figures in a padded envelope or ship them "loose" please let us know. We agree that our international shipping is high. However, that is exactly the rate that the post office or UPS charges us. What choice do we have? We do not control the fact that international shipping is expensive!

Not that it affected me, but thanks for the response. I just wish there was something I wanted that I didn't already have. And I'm glad to see I was correct about the shipping. It's been 11 years since I got injured at UPS and I still have this knowledge stuck in my head. Hell there's still times I dream (or have a nightmare) that I'm still on my route. lol

The fact that you cannot find Sheamus or The Rock at retail is because Mattel did not properly weight the case packs. Why would Mattel put the same number of The Rock and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a case? You're right! We should contact Mattel and complain that they're making a mistake.

You're right! We should contact Mattel and complain that they're making a mistake. They are 'weighting' future assortments. Something, of course, people have complained about. People complain - period! I complain about people complaining, so I'm no better.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you posters. You have a forum to air your questions, comments and concerns because of RSC. They bought wrestlingfigs.com site, that should show you right there how much they care about their customers. Don't cry 'cause you missed a doorbuster. Go elsewhere if you think you can find it cheaper, or find it at all! I thank the powers that be at RSC and commend them for keeping open a fairly uncensored forum for collectors to have a voice. How many other website stores do YOU know that do that for their customers?

First off thanks for the response...but, its bs. Your prices are way to high but thats your right. Just don't act like you are giving us a deal with the prices you just listed. WWEshop gave me 20% off plus free shipping on those items. It blows you out of the water. Now in regards to the lower quantities produced by Mattel and Jakks is nonsence. Heres a question how can you offer early bird sale from 6-300pm, have the item sell out instantly, and then have the same item on your website available for 30 dollars more? I never seen a toysrus or walmart or target advertise early bird sale sell a couple items and say we are all out and then say oh yeah we have them right over here but it is 30 dollars more than whats advertise. I am disappointed in you Ringside. There is an outcry of unsatisfied customers and the fact you address it here proves it. Its your business, do what you like with it. But remember, treat your customers with respect and honesty. The Black Friday Cyber Monday sales treated some loyal customers like they were not cared for and thats wrong.

Honestly, the only thing I'd have to say negatively in regards to this whole thing is that I wasn't informed earlier. I would have picked up a Punk.
Beyond that, Ringside has always been good to me and I try to be good back to them, even if it's only once or twice a year. Do I like being able to run out to the store and pick something up there? Well of course. But when taking into account the time spent searching for some products, including gas spent driving around, there are some things I'd rather pay a little bit extra for just to have it shipped.
Seriously though, I hate having this same discussion twice a year.

WWEshop gave me 20% off plus free shipping on those items. It blows you out of the water. Did we prevent you from shopping with WWEShop? Why are you angry with us? Because we did not match their Black Friday promotion? You should be equally angry with Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target because they did not match that promotion either. If you look at different websites, they will have different promotions and different prices. If you look at the prices for WWE Legends Series 2, we are MUCH cheaper than WWEShop. Does that mean you should be angry with them and happy with us now? Just because other stores have promotions doesn't mean we are evil or trying to screw you over because we do not offer the same promotion. Every store offers different promotions on different products at different times. It seems like you will be upset with us unless we beat every single promotion from every single store every day! How can any store possibly live up to that? Amazon.com advertised an early bird sale on the Home Alone Blu-Ray. By the time I went to add it to my cart, it was back up to $34.99. How could they do this to me? Should I be angry with Amazon.com? We received HUNDREDS of orders in the first 30-60 minutes of the sale. Clearly someone managed to get the popular items. According to your logic, if we do not have unlimited quantities of doorbuster priced items, and if they do not go out of stock after the doorbuster sale, then we are somehow ripping you off? It almost seems like you would prefer we had no sale this morning. However, the hundreds of customers that did take advantage of the discounts probably do not feel the same way.

I imagine there are at least 30 or 40 thousand mothers having this same argument over Zhu Zhu Pets at Toys R Us because the one their daughter wanted isn't there.

Why don't you ask your local Best Buy or Wal-Mart what the most popular Black Friday door busters were and ask how long it took them to sellout.
Isn't putting many very hot popular items on-sale at below cost in very limited quantities showing appreciation to loyal customers?
There are only 2 other options that would satisfy you: 1) We offer Unlimited quantities of all popular items below cost (meaning we go out of business) 2) No sale at all
Why does your local Wal-Mart only get 20 pieces of the $200 laptop on Black Friday when 1000 people are lined up outside the store?

As for the sale, I had absolutely no problems with it! I kenw that everything would go very quickly so I didn't expect very much. Great Choices with great prices! Well done RSC.

I can't believe Best Buy didn't personally hold that super popular sale item for me. I mean aren't I as entitled (spoiled) as the people that slept in line all night? What a bunch of jerks. I mean, the world owes me. Is this forum filled with the little girl in my sig?

I appreciate the responses from 'The Boss'......I think you have going to have to look past some immature and 'sour grapes' posts.
Personally, I have bought things in the past on quick sales like the Black Friday/Cyber-Monday one, however this time I found it hard to access the Cyber Monday one this morning....I was on line at 6 and only had a few minutes, and kept clicking on what I thought was the BF/CM link-however it would not work-got error messages.......it wasn't until a couple of hours later that I found the correct link and then it was too late for me.
This was my probably my fault, however having the old link still posted confused me.
Overall, I am pleased with RSC.....I feel I buy things I want when they hit a price I am willing to pay and when I have had a shipping issues-Trevor has been EXCELLENT in stepping in and solving them almost immediately.
-Happy Holidays, -Wagdaddy

I'll take this opportunity to say that I understand you guys' point of view on the prices, and its great of you guys to try to explain this to people who might be angry.
That's one reason I like to deal with you guys; you have great customer service.

I don't want to complain because I ended up picking up 11 items between the doorbuster sales today and Friday and I appreciate that the time has been taken to respond to some of the criticism. However, I feel the biggest issue was with things being sold out that people had already put in their cart, and that issue was not addressed. I feel that once it was put in your cart it should have been yours. It took me approxitmately 4 minutes to finish putting things in my cart and when I went to check out The Rock was already gone. I just think if RSC is going to do this type sale again in the future, it would be nice if some kind of time limit was established to prevent so many people from missing out on items they've already put in their cart. The sale itself was awesome, I just think it could've been handled a little better.

We agree that our international shipping is high. However, that is exactly the rate that the post office or UPS charges us. What choice do we have? We do not control the fact that international shipping is expensive! Last time I ordered from Ringside they didn’t use UPS or Fedex. Today as before it’s USPS Priority Mail and $32 for one figure to Europe is just too much!!! I understand that’s the current shipping rates but they could offer an alternative! USPS First Class Mail International is $11 for one figure and personally I have never had any trouble with this shipping method in almost 6 years of business with US sellers. And don't tell me that big stores don’t send figures this way because they can’t track the packages. Each time I’m buying a MOTU or a Ghostbuster classics, Mattel via MattyCollector send it this way. An alternative shipping method would be the better way to make everyone happy. Even the ShopZone international rates are cheaper! But their problem is that they use UPS. What is “great” with UPS and FedEx in Europe, and certainly elsewhere, is that both companies “pre-pay” the customs taxes. To do that, they open a “file” to you and pay the taxes. Then, when you receive your order you must pay for the taxes (and it is perfectly normal) around 20% of the total amount with s/h in most of european countries; but you must pay for the company file too… Most of the time this price is between 30 and 50 euros… You have ever paid the package, the shipping and taxes. But you pay again! GREAT!!! I know that my post is annoying and not really exciting but what I wanted to say is just: « Please RingsideCollectibles, consider using an alternative shipping method for your international customers. And don’t call on UPS or FedEx. Never! It would be better than a MEGA SALE for us and you will certainly gain a lot of new customers!” Thanks! P.S.: I agree for loose figures! No problem with that!

International shipping is ridiculous for ringside. If u send by FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL, it would make things so much easier.
I'm not even hoping for UPS or Fedex or DHL. Just regular USPS.
I understand Ringside's rationale for the sale but it's still annoying how as Ringside has less of a popular item (due to high demand), the price automatically shoots up.
U don't see that at TRU.com or wal-mart.
Other than that, i would like to thank Ringside for the sale. Not that i benefited much. Only got an Elite Kane since everything sold out so fast.

There are a few problems with this suggestion: 1) Many figures such as WWE Legends and Elite weigh more than 1 lb. with packing material and would not fit the 1 lb. rate. The 2 lb. rate is $18. You are telling me that you would not still complain if we charged you $18 to ship a single figure? And without a tracking number to boot! 2) First Class does not offer a tracking #. As a business, do you understand how we cannot ship an item without some kind of tracking #? 3) It takes longer than Priority Mail International. What are we supposed to tell someone when they haven't received their figure after 4 weeks and we have no tracking number to give them? Then the customer thinks we are trying to rip them off. Imagine the negative feedback we would get on eBay if we didn't provide customers with a tracking #. 4) Once you get into the 4 pound rate for the post office, there is a $6 difference between first class and Priority. We have found that most international customers prefer the Priority Service since it is faster and we can provide you with a tracking number. In addition, most international customers do not simply purchase 1 or 2 figures, they purchase 3 or more figures which means their package would be 4 pounds or more. MattyCollector's entire business is based on shipping single figures so it makes sense that they would choose this. In addition, if they are willing to accept the customer service headaches and risks that come along with shipping packages this way, then that is their choice. We have no control over the local taxes that you pay. You are basically asking us to use a slower service with no tracking in order to save $10 off a shipping rate. However, when you do not receive your order right away, you will be calling our customer service line complaining and you will do chargebacks on your credit card or file a PayPal dispute and we will have no tracking number to prove that it was sent.
