I dont get to watch anything but Raw so Im not sure, but looking on WWE.com, Tyler Reks has been moved to the "Alumni" Category....Has he been released or did he quit? I could have sworn I read he was at Summer Slam Sunday?

First I've heard of this. May have just been a mistake by the website team. It's happened before.

I was just about to post this. They also added him to the alumni list on twitter.

Hes gone. Its a shame because I really liked him and Hawkins as a team. Maybe Hawkins can become a singles star or form a team with Barreta now.

Wasn't a fan, and seems how it was his choice I'm perfectly happy with this news, because now it's time for Hawkins and Barreta to take the Tag Team Division by storm! (I hope).
Kofi & R-Truth The Usos Kidd & Gabriel Primo & Epico PTP (as much as I don't enjoy them) Hawkins & Barreta
That's a solid start to a growing division right there.

He retired to be a full time dad. All power to him.

Yeah, the problem they have is actually investing time into making these guys mean something to fans. Shame really, because there's some real talent there. I also just read about the 'becoming a full time father' thing. Fair play really.

Wha...
Wow. Definitely did not see this one coming. If it's his own decision, then good for him, though.

Poor guy. He shoulda quit before he had to do that garbage stripper gimmick for one week. Wish him the best.
And add me to the list who want to see Trent come back and team with Curt.

I respect the hell out of him to devoting his life to his kid. I didn't have a father growing up and always wish I did.

I gotta say, though I'm sad that Hawkins and Reks should have gone to bigger things than they were, I respect that he wants to spend time with his daughter.

Wow...absolutely did not see that coming.
At least it was his decision and not the classic "we've got nothing for you" Here's hoping Hawkins' career doesn't suffer from this, those 2 were getting to be amazing.

This is terrible news. Reks & Hawkins were my all time favorites and they should have been the tag team champions. I'm gonna miss representing them ringside at every PPV

I wonder if coming out to a male stripper gimmick finally broke the camels back...

Personally, I'm glad he's gone. Never understood the love for him, and he overstayed his welcome by a few years. Only problem I have with it, is it puts even more doubt on Hawkins' future.
