What a way to ruin football even more, Chelsea have done it now City. However much it may be nice bringing top superstars to you're club I'd hate this to happen to Spurs as it ruins the object of football. ;D Well said my friend. Unbelieveable isn't it. They see trophies before, Pride, Passion and History. Do's Robinho give a richard the 3rd about City, No, just his wages. (£95k a week after tax) So when things go tit's up with british football, There will be no more City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool as there debts will be too high to save.

Because they can't pay it back. .... well that's their fault, how does that avoid them getting points deducted? A lot of clubs ar unable to pay for debts so why do Utd have an exception !?

I think that they pay a set amount back every season.

United have got to reach £80m profits per year to afford the debt.
Also in the past 3 seasons the Glazers have refinanced the debts. Each season making the debts go up £10m extra per year, so say in season one they need to make £60m profit, after refinancing it needs to be £70m.
I don't no how they get away with no having points reducted.
What I do no is the debt is registered in Red football ltd's name, and if it go's tit's up the United fans will be left with it.

If they paid off the entire debt at once then they would go bankrupt. They can afford to pay it off over time, like Arsenal are doing with the debt they're in from building the Emirates

Dunno why everyones getting so excited to be honest. I mean yeh all these rumours of bids are flying around, but doesnt mean they're all going to go does it? Id much rather play for Liverpool, United, Real Madrid than Man City, not because im biased but just as a player of football. But we'll see if money is more of a draw than club loyalty when it all comes around I guess
