Alright guys. Here are some rules, pretty much the same as the old one.
1. Be respectful - By respectful, I mean do NOT fight with your fellow board members. We're all one community, we all have one thing in common. If any of you feel the need to argue, please take it to PM. ALSO, being respectful to your fellow bookers can be achieved by reading AND replying to their work. We work hard on all of our shows and all of us expect a reply or two.
2. No SUPER short results - However, results that are shorter but contain a good amount of detail is permitted. I'm not all about super detailed, super long shows like some of you think!
3. Replies should be helpful - When you a reply to show, it's best that you tell the booker what you liked about the show, what you didn't like, and what you would do to improve. No matter how long a booker has been doing fantasy booking, advice and criticism is always welcome.
4. Do not attack a fellow booker - If you do not like a bookers show or federation, please tell him in a nice way. Do not insult or bash his federation. If you have a personal problem with this booker, please take it to PM or you will be reported.
5. If anyone does an 'A def. B' type result show, you have to post them all in one thread in the Help Board.
6. Have Fun - This is all about fun, guys!
Please follow these rules... I know you guys will!
I wish everyone well who reads this and all the best with your writing.
Edit:
I will make one point though - the majority of threads are locked due to inactivity. WF has a rule about ‘old’ threads being “bumped” for whatever reason (mainly for new members looking to spam to get to 50 posts, so they can access Classifieds. I have seen it happen on the Text Fed Board (which I also moderate) so my way around it is locking these purported ‘old’ threads.
Sure - it’s probably unnecessary and over the top, but I like to err on the side of caution here on WF.
Hope that answers any questions as to why.
