I love this custom Bart!. The only thing I dont like is you used yarn which seems too thick.I know it is hard to find thinner rope to use for tassels but either way It still came out great. The head mods are great and the chest sculpting is fantastic also. Your paint is very smooth. I think you are out of your slump man just keep your head up.

As I said before on the other board, I really like this one. The tights are slightly off in places but otherwise look good. When you said it was the Pillman scan, I was thinking of the old Pillman scan from the Hollywood Blondes. I didn't know his new one was out yet. Great job on the head modding, the hair looked spot on.

I really like that actually, the prototype head looks perfect. Not sure why it shows up a bit odd in the finished shots... Maybe a wash of brown would bring out the details? Either way, i like it.

wow, that's amazing, how did you merge the two heads? I just cut both heads right under the nose, merged the two halves together using Apoxie Sculpt.

I am not so crazy about the head but I can see where you got it from. I like the attire a lot. Painting is great(nice and smooth. and I like the tassels. It looks good. I can tell you put a lot of time in this. The hair sculpting is godly.

Thanks, it really is a great technique. Credit to that idea goes to Romealmighty, well, that's at least who I learned it from.

I don't think the head really looks like Pillman, but the technique for modding it was done flawlessly. The hair looks great, and the boots and tights match well. The painted designs on the left leg seem a tad sloppy compared to the right, but hey that happens. The fringe is a nice touch, but it does seem a little big, both in the size of the tassels and in how far they stick out from the tights. Still a very nice piece of work though!
...and eyes aren't so bad with a few tips and tricks. As a Warhammer and minis painter, I personally love being able to work with eyes this size instead of ones measured in single millimeters LOL.

That is an outstanding custom. I especially like the streamers on the tights! How did you pull it off so well? I have been looking for an effective way to do this to improve figures like Janetty, Bulldog, etc. Do they seem to be on securely?

Very ambitious but a great likeness..my only criticism wud be that u maybe shud have smoother and sanded down the filler before you painted. because it looks like a legit scan if a little smoother. Good work

It ma not be your best custom, but it's by far not your worst The painting is smooth as usual, the designs on the tights look awesome. I love the tassels on his tights. The modding looks incredible on the head. His skintone looks really good but there;s two flaws that I see. The first one being the headscan. Like Sandman mentioned in the customs discussion thread, the likeness of Pillman is hard to capture. Baity supposedly had a hard time capturing Pillman as well. Painting eyes is horrible. I ruined a headscan trying to paint eyes. The second flaw looks to be a clump of clay on his left peck. It looks like it could be sanded more. Don't worry about going on a downward spiral. it's probably because you haven't been making customs as much as you used to

It all looks really good apart from the face. The nose looks too short now, strange because the WIP shots look really good, maybe the paint is just too thick and took away too much detail or something. Everything apart from the face looks great though, the attire looks really well done and the torso mods are a definate improvement. I think it would've been far better though if you'd kept the original head and not painted the whole skintone. That's just my opinion though because I like customs to look like official Jakks figures unless they are painted with enough detail to make a whole new style. Block colour custom skintones look messy to me and if you had all original body parts with those tights/boots then you would have an awesome, flawless custom there that would fit perfectly with any CS collection. It still looks great to me though.
