PHW WEEKLY returns with a little bit of a twist. I, deskjet, take over editing roles for this edition of the magazine to give Extreme a break and allow him time to do some filming. That aside, I'm very happy to bring you a look into one of the newer and up and coming pic feds on the board...Ramos' APW.
1. What feds motivated you to start APW?
I could say that is a hard question however it is a hard question but the hard part is deciding which ones to mention. So here goes:
ROP- This fed (IMO) was the first fed to ever catch the indy feel and run with it. Sure other feds had indy guys but only ROP (at the time it began) had the feel of an indy fed and Mikey (Guru) started the curse of making me love indy
ROG- KC had a great fed going here and he produced some of the best shows ever to give us the pleasure to watch
AWF-WWEfan really inspired me with his eagerness to restart the board. And his fed is brilliant too.
GENEXT: When I heard DJ was coming back I knew that it was going to be amazing and he duly delivered.
2. What separate APW from the rest of the feds on the board?
I think the willingness to mix eras and different companies. Like who else do you know who would be willing to do Shawn Michaels vs. Bryan Danielson from the first show or plan a Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart feud just to see what could happen?
3. Since becoming a Pic Fedder, what is the hardest part about doing one?
I would say just getting to film. Like mustering up a great arena, good lighting and other stuff. I have had at least 4 timesa in the past week where I have set up lighting and my arena to film only to in the end not have the patience.
4. What fed gives you the biggest "competion"?
I wouldn't class myself as having competition with anyone because at this moment I do not feel that APW is big enough to do anything like that.
5. What is your favorite storyline in your fed?
I would say the only one I really have just now which is Morrison vs. HBK but more are coming after Break on Through. And until everyone finds the feud I have planned 'till the end which will start at BOT
6. When can we expect to see more APW?
Well I plan on filming Break on Through over the next week and then put it up asap.
7. What do you enjoy most about pic fedding?
I enjoy the feedback more than anything because it is great to see what other fedders think about your fed in general. And the feeling when you finally get a show up and can watch it is great aswell. But if I had to choose I would say the feedback.
8. What do you least enjoy about pic fedding?
I would say how much people think poses matter. For me they make up about 10% of my enjoyment of a fed as I much prefer great storylines and action in the show. While poses are a big part for some people they just don't really make any difference to me.
