My Customs

Here are some of my customs, some are better than others, obviously lol but I make everything playable. They're a hodge podge of styles, some are a couple of years old, so I'll try and recall what I used for what.
I made the pics smaller so I wouldn't use up too much space. I'm not what you would call a serious customizer, I just make these for myself to occupy their little display shelves. So enjoy~!
TNA Style Macho Man, basically just a Kip James repaint with accessories and some extra sculpting.
Titan Tron Live La Parka. Head is a Lucha Libre La Parka, the body is a repainted TTL Triple H with minor modifications.
Rey Mysterio Joker Style Repaint. I was inspired by everyone making Rey Jokers, so I wanted to do one a bit different, so I just went with the theme.
Hustler Rip Rogers. Classic Ric Flair body, BCA Steve Austin, sculpted hair.
Classic Sting. DA Kenny Dykstra head & RA Chavo Guerrero body.
Blue Panther. You can't really see the detail on the mask, he's hanging on the wall about ten feet up. lol so I tip toed to take the picture! Anyways, Kurt Angle with sculpting head, and I don't recall which body I used.
Delirious. This is a pretty simple delirious, the head is a modded and sculpted Chavo Guerrero, the body was Tajiri.
TTL Jushin Liger, I made this YEARS ago, so I'm not sure what the body is, but the head is completely sculpted.
Nigel McGuiness. Obviously a Drago head. Luther Reigns body. I wish I hadn't boxed him, he has the Union Jack on the back of the trunks, the red plaid on the side of the trunks, and red plaid on the sides of the boots.
The Spoiler Don Jardine. Drago workout body, Kurt Angle modded and sculpted head. Title belt is a print out, shelac, on regular Jakks belt form.
Classic Macho Man. I can't even begin to compete with some of the amazing Savage figures I've seen on this board, but here's my contribution. Don't know why the pic looks f'd up. I don't remember which body I used, as I had already decapitated the figure and removed the paint from the trunks. The head is from my absolute favorite Hasbro figure of Macho Man. The skin tones were really difficult to match up because of the orange color of the Hasbro, so this was actually my second attempt as the first one looked too chunky with the paint.
Toy Biz (WCW style) Psychosis. Chris Benoit, with a sculpted hair, vinyl shoulder pads, and the mask I made by cutting out clear plastic in the shape of the mask and painting it after I had affixed it to the figure. The only thing I don't like is that I don't have his tatoos. I've tried to do tatoos before, and for some reason I have a hard time realizing how much space I have to work in.
Toy Biz (WCW Style) Tiger Mask Sayama. Chris Benoit (notice a trend? lol) with the Arena style Lucha Libre Tiger Mask head (obviously repainted haha) This is my favorite of all my customs, mostly because I love Tiger Mask. It's weird, I don't really even know why I made one considering how many official Tiger Mask figures I have, I guess I just like having to display with my Light Heavyweight collection that are the same scale.
So there are a few of mine. Like I said I don't consider myself a serious customizer, so feel free to comment and add suggestions. As for what I use, I use plumber's epoxy putty since it works wet and you don't have to bake it, acrylic paints, certain nail polishes. Clear coat nail polish to give a shiny or wet look (vinyl) and clear matte finish spray on coating for a dull look. I know I used a print out on the LWO logo, so forgive me for cheating on that one.

Evan Bourne-Heartbreak to answer your question, I use Avery sticker photo paper, with the Microsoft Picture It! Program, the font is called Quadrangle and dimensions are 1.25 X 7 inches on a three pack 0.5 X 8.25 inches on a tag team. To print out I create a blank page and resize it to the dimensions, create shape (usually a square) and resize it to fit the dimensions, write the text in the specified font (I had to download the font) and I use the bronze yellow/gold color. Then when I go to print I select "print actual size". Then just cut it out and stick it on! Hope that helps !

i have been on this board since 01'... and i have to say, for a fully playable custom, that WcW Savage is fantastic, i have seen some incredible posed savage figs on here in the past, i would like to see a larger savage pic to confirm my point, but for a general playable fig, it really is, very, very good. At the same time, im not quite sure why, the likeness, it just... works, the cowboy hat maybe the thing that ties it together. It looks very clean, im sure the head scan is not gonna be 100% but it does look very good. Well done.

Everything looks pretty good, orange Savage is pretty good too, head seems to be based on the hasbro savage, which is cool, as i am a hasbro fan. The Tiger Mask is also a cool little fig.
